I bought an Opel Crossland 1.2T Edition this year (2024) for a "bargain" price of R360 000. It only had 100km on the clock—demo Model. A month later my wife decided that she would rather stick to her first choice of vehicle, a Jeep Renegade. I tried to trade in the vehicle with an Opel Dealer, to trade it and pay for a Jeep Renegade (Also sold under the Stellantis Group). To my surprise, the dealer just shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't want my spotless Opel. He can maybe give me half the price (R260 000). My Opel only has 1000km on the clock and retails for R439,000. I took this issue up with the Stellantis group, ***********. They just advised to to speak to the same branch manager, who still did nothing. Then after emailing them again, I received a phone call from an uneducated, poor English-speaking lady, not understanding a word I told her. That's it, emails, phone calls, no aftersales support. The Opel brand will probably be closing down soon due to poor support, poor aftersales, and poor communication. I'm sitting with an Opel which I don't want!!! but have to keep, otherwise, I will lose thousands. I decided to start a campaign now, to warn other South Africans to stay away from Opel.

The MTN Call Centre is TRULY useless! I made 9 calls this morning so far. Poor service, it took hours to speak to someone. The "service champions" are clueless and bad-mannered. I was just upgraded to the wrong package via phone. The Retention department is useless, lying about the packages. I have 118 gigs on the new contract. ZERO data is shareable. I told the retention lady that I only want shareable data, not promotional.
Poor after-sales support. There is no telephone number available to talk to a human. I bought a LG microwave oven from Takealot online. It was an open box item. When it arrived I saw it's not the correct Microwave oven, its a much cheaper model. I followed the return steps. I choose an exchange. Takelot staff changed my status to refund. Claiming the product isn't available anymore. But is it: the link allows me to buy another brand new one, just not an open box one. But a wanted the product which I paid for. I wanted an exchange. I can't get anybody from Takealot to assist me.
MTN decided when my contract came to an end to move me to another package, without any communication. They billed and subtracted 3 times my normal subscription amount. I immediately went to the nearest branch. Still awaiting feedback. No support. They basically just stole my money.
Terrible after-sales service. Received my table in a damaged box with no accessories to fit the table. Waiting for 10 days for the original delivery. After complaining about the damaged box and no accessories, I was told it would arrive here at the latest 48 hours. It's been 48 hours now and they can't provide with a tracking number because it hasn't been sent yet. They claim it will be sent again withing 48 hours. Every time a new excuse. Michealle Julius
Nobody answer any phone calls, I phoned six shops and the phone just ring. The Facebook messenger employee says they are open. Really? Trying for three days now. Who would order furniture from a retail store that don't take any phone calls.
Vodacentre in Bloemfontein. The best Vodacom shop and repair experience in SA. Pop in and experience it.
Kloppers has a great selection of quality products with excellent service as well.
I have always just received great service from Takealot. Their prices are great and delivery excellent.
