I have 4 Old School tops. They will be my last ones. The collar of my Springbok top faded after one wash. Upon returning it I was told that I must return it to Big Blue where I bought it and Old School will not replace it. I have never heard anything this absurd. Are they selling sub-standard items to Big Blue then, making such a return their problem? What is Big Blue going to do now? Obviously send it back to Old School with the same complaint. Sorry, you have seen the last of me and anybody in my family. Dr André Cilliers.
I ordered 2 books of our holiday. Order #295139. One was not up to standard. See pics. Canvas and More agreed to reprint. Upon enquiry as to when I would receive the replacement book, suddenly all has gone quiet. Don't know how this passed QC. Anyway, let's give it a bit of time and see. But the enthusiasm to replace the faulty book is certainly not the same as that of the original order.
Looking at the reviews here for Smeg South Africa it is clear that they feel nothing for after sale customer satisfaction. I bought a Smeg over 10 years ago. 8 years later, the feet on which it stands crumbled and collapsed. OK, that's unusual but we replaced them. A year later one cracked again. I strapped it with cable ties. Then another one collapsed. I contacted Smeg, and they quoted me R1200, excluding installation. I told them that I believe this one is on them. How can the oven feet not even last 2 years?? There is no movement or anything. Then the silence. Until now. I purchased generic ones, and with a bit of effort fitted them myself. Total cost R190. Pity I can't add the photos that I have of the situation.
Excellent service. I would recommend them highly.
Blocked drain. They came to open it. Cost R 2500. Same drain blocked again 3 weeks later. They say their work only guaranteed for a week. I really expected more than that. Now I'm back to square one. I'll never recommend them or use them again if this is the lever of confidence they have in their own work
Trying to get anybody to answer mails to Wesbank is impossible. Nobody answers for weeks. Nobody tells you when the car is paid, or informs you of the next steps. I paid for the courier of my paperwork, only to be asked again a month later for the very same proof of payment. The ONLY way to get ANY action is via Facebook Messenger. Well done to that team. To the Email team: you need to jack up your act.
Hello. I have seldom had such poor service as I have had from Smeg South Africa. 2 of the 4 feet of our Smeg oven simply disintegrated after 7 years. The oven has never been moved in that time. Contacted Smeg parts (the address on your website). No reply after 2 days. Contacted customer service. Same thing. So for 10 days now I have had no communication from you, on any queries. We got appliance people who have just fitted the new feet because you responded to nothing. Feeble service, really. And extremely feeble oven feet.
Today I received my order (105589304) from Takealot : a set of Samsung earbuds that cost R 3000. When I opened the box, the smaller box within containing the actual buds, fell open. Upon inspection, I found that there was no charger wire. Upon further inspection (and checking what should have been in the box) I found that some of the silicon earpieces were also missing. The buds "charging case" also looked handled and used. I reported this at once and now await a response. I hope that Takealot can trace the person who packed my order, and fire them on the spot. Sadly now I will always have a slight distrust when receiving something from Takealot, and we order from them very regularly. It seems that I received a complete second-hand set of goods. Hopefully they will sort this out very quickly.
Hi. I had guests from far away at my place in Pretoria, and we wanted to visit the old Raadsaal on church Square. We contacted the municipality and were in communication with Koleka Nolutshungu and Refulwe Mauwane. For two weeks we tried to get the paperwork to give us permission to visit the Raadsaal. We competed and sent the disclaimer forms more than a week before the planned visit, then everything went quiet despite numerous mails. What a pathetic show. Now our guests have left and we never got to see the place. City of Tshwane, thanks for nothing.
