I bought a MacbookPro M2 from them even though it was the first time I saw them online. To my surprise, the unit was in my hands by the next day. Beautiful service when service providers deliver earlier than expected.
I came across Epic Deals some time ago whilst searching for used Phones to buy online. I decided to give them a try and buy an iPhone 13 Pro with them after another company disappointed me. Today I’ve bought my third phone with them and the experience is predictably pleasant. Two of my friends have bought devices with them and the communication is reassuring as you know what they are doing and what is next. I decided to sell two phones to them in order to buy the third device, and the experience was more than impressive, I was kept abreast of when the courier company is coming, when the collection had been delivered to their assessment centre, when the assessment is complete, and the offer for the phone.
I received the best service from these guys when buying my phone. The phone was exactly as described on the platform. It came with a hand written note, a nice personal touch, as well as a free cover and screen protector. Would definitely recommend them! P.S: Bought the phone on Saturday Night, had it with me by Tuesday morning. Full tracking details by Monday morning. Communication on point from the time I made payment until the phone was delivered.
They have outright ****** my phone. I listed my iPhone 11 pro 256GB with them and I was informed after many attempts to get feedback with them, that my phone was sold and they are waiting for funds to reflect. After the many working days passed with no payment and no feedback. They told me the sale was cancelled as the payment has not reflected. I waited about a week and decided to cancel my sale. Miraculously I was told my phone has sold again and they are awaiting payment. They “received” payment on the 18th October and I was told it will take between 11 and 14 working days for me to get paid. It has been 16 working days and still no payment. Stay clear from these people!
I've been a Rain Networks customer since Jy 2018 when they launched their R250, 19 hours uncapped Internet. Since then, I've added their premium 5G service which is fast, convinient and affordable. I tried fibre for a season, but it could not match Rain's 5G for Price to performance. I've introduced countless people to their service because it is that good. Yes I've had hiccups a few times, but, I can tell you without fear, they are very good. Support struggled during early days of Covid but they have since righted the ship. They have introduced new products that make their 5G offering more accessible at a lower price. 5 stars from me.
VW Menlyn will sell you a defective car and then they will try to fix it a few times ,promising you that if they fail to fix it then they will take it back, only to tell you that is no longer their problem but yours! Do not for whatever reason take them at their word especially BENNIE WELGEMOED, the Mastercars Manager, he will only tell you that you must deal with VW SA when he EXPLICITLY said they would take the car back should they fail to fix it! In January 2021 we bought a Polo Vivo with VW Menlyn, the day they gave it to us the breaks were making a screeching sound, when we raised the issue they said it's only because they are wet and the issue would resolve itself once dry ,this was not something new ,but the issue started when no matter what, the screeching sound just would not go away, we took it back to them , they said let's do disc skeeming and all would be well,we did that and it was fine for a week and we had to take it back, they worked on it again and it's fine for a week and back to square 1 after that , the 3rd time we tell them to cancel the deal or replace the car, that's when Bennie asks for 1 more chance to fix it then if if doesn't work then they will take it back, they fix it for the 4th time!!!! And 1 week it's fine then after that it's back to horrible screeching ,no one wants to drive a car with defective breaks / breaking system as that may put their Iives & their passengers lives at risk! So with that I contact my sales manager to tell him we want to bring the car back, give us our money back/replace it with a car that's not defective, and that's when Bennie comes in with a ,either allow us another chance to fix it or deal with VW SA cause He WONT HELP US!!! We did not buy this car at VW SA but at VW Menlyn, when you were promising to replace it ,why did you not ask VW SA to make such promises? We are paying for this car , it wasn't a free gift from you, now more than ever I believe BENNIE KNEW THEY WERE SELLING US A DEFECTIVE CAR FROM THE START!!!Do not trust them!
Had a pleasant surprise ordering from Hype. I had seen a good set of headphones which were a bit pricey everywhere else, Hype had them at the cheapest rate. Not having heard of them, I was skeptical at first but decided to take the plunge. I ordered on Saturday, and on Monday the goods were shipped and delivered. The product is exactly as advertised, i am very pleased! Good job guys
I've commented on another user's review after he had a similar experience. I have a business cheque account with FNB. At the beginning of June, a Card transaction went through my account even though 1. I did not initiate the transaction, 2. I did not have enough funds in my account to honour that transaction, 3. I do not have an overdraft or credit facility with the bank. As a result of that transaction, the money i had put aside for bank charges was gone and I had to pay R185 honouring fee for 7 transactions including for a toll gate transaction of R11, R185 for a R16 transaction, R 185 for a R5 transaction etc. All these transactions, like Brian's were entered into whilst I had funds in my account, but only cleared after there were no funds. I completed a form to request the reversal but the FNB wants me to provide communication with the merchant or proof that the transaction was declined. Why do I need to talk to the merchant or provide proof when I did not go there to begin with? This transaction was effectively fraudulent. The bank has disappointed me seriously, this behaviour is unethical and does not align with their "How can we help you motto". I called to complain and the consultant told me about but the bank has refused to rectify my query. I have advocated for people to move from ABSA to join FNB and I am hoping they aren't having a similar experience
I have concluded they operate an unethical yet legal business practise because:

The company has not made the fact that their services are not free prominent on their site and adverts. What is unethical is the failure to draw the attention of the customer to the fact that you will be signed up for a R 395 once off fee and you don't have an option to only take the Free Loan Finding service. You are forced to take a 4 in 1 package that will cost you money either once off or R 59 monthly unaware.

Some background:
I used the services of Loan Finder SA over the December holidays. The loan was declined and I moved on. In January, I noticed that the bank had charged me a fee for a failed debit by loan finder. I ignored this as the debit did not go through. End of January the company tried again to debit R395 from my account which was unsuccessful. I called the call center where they explained to me that the R 395 was a once off fee for a 4 in 1 package. I protested that I did not sign up for this as i didn't even see in on their site.

I hope this serves as a warning to prospective customers that you can't use Loan Finder SA's services for free and only be charged once a loan is ok'd.
I ordered a double whopper meal and it took forever to arrive. When it arrived it was cold and the patty tasted raw. Upon complaining the shift manager instead of apologizing and fixing the problem she was at pains to explain why the burger tastes the way it does. This is unacceptable from an organisation like Burger King. The second burger came back looking ripe and tasting the way it should. I will stick with MacD from now on
