Horrible service. Trying to settle my loan and the phone never goes through. I called over 10 times.
So I get this call from Azola from Vodacom. He introduces himself and starts speaking Zulu. I tell him that I don't understand him and make rather speak English...He then hangs up on me. What a waste of my time.
I really cannot get over how much this dealership negatively affected my finances through the owner's lies. They don't place car prices on windscreens because prices, at least mine, are determined by how much they can lie to you for more money. If they displayed the prices, then customers will not enter their dealership. They don't check your credit score and if you have a good one, they'll tell you they phoned the Bank and the bank determined high interest rates for you so that they can basically charge you an arm and a leg. They actually decide on their own what interest rate they will charge you for any car you buy from them. They charged me high interest and after I called the Bank, they had to pay the Bank back mainly for lying. If they tell you to rent the car for 6 months, please ensure that there is a 6 month contract to back this rental period and be there when they call the Bank for enquiries of your credit score.
I have a Home Loan with Nedbank Home Loans. I signed for deductions to go off my account on the 25th of every month. On a monthly basis I get an sms that my deductions will go off on the 22nd, which i reject but they still deduct on the 22nd. Why even bother giving me an option to reject the new date and why would you change to a date i didn't sign for. I have called and done all i could to even being kept on the phone for over 11 minutes, with no progress. Please keep my deduction date to the 25th of every month which is what i signed for.
Lethubuhle assisted me with registering a claim. She even organized for assessments by the authorised service provider on the day I requested. She was extremely efficient.
It clearly was a wrong idea to answer a phone call from The Unlimited. I was once their client and stopped a few years back. They then came again in January offering their services whii eventually rejected the offer. They tried to deduct from my account in January where I am then charged by my bank for the transaction. On the 17th of February we speak again where I'm informed that the deductions have been stopped. That was simply a lie because they tried deductinf again in February and in March where I have been getting charged for the unsuccessful transactions. It is now April and I would be stupid to think that they will not try to deduct again. I was last told on the 11th of April that their transactions have been canceled whichI really doubt.
I recently returned and exchanged an item (portable jump starter) that I purchased from Autozone due to some defects. The service is received for Marlin in Autozone Randburg was outstanding. The service was quick and effective.
This is the worst dealership that could exist. The owner will lie to you so much. I followed the process and registered to take the dealership to court through support from SAPS. I reported the dealership to the Ombudsman. I also reported the dealership to the financial institution that assisted with the financing of the vehicle. I bought a cheaper vehicle from the dealership, they reported to the Bank that I had bought a more expensive vehicle and thus I had to pay more. Conclusions on the dealerships lies only took place almost a year later. I will never purchase or have agreements with this dealership.
I believe that there's someone in ABSA Vehicle and Finance that approves deals submitted from Omar's Auto Cuty in Meyerton. I was forcefully made to agree to a purchase of a second hand Toyota Prestige at double the price of what the car would for a brand new one. It's so bad, I wanted to buy back the car is traded in, but now it's been damaged by the dealership & i won't buy the car back. Who approves deals that are abnormal for Vehicle purchases in ABSA, wouldn't one question a deal that's clearly extraordinary?
Based on my experience of having to buy a car at Omars Auto City, there is no dealership in South Africa that is as bad as this one. The owner will make you think that he's on your side. In the meantime, everything he says is a lie. There's no integrity in everything said or sold here. In my experience, people trade their cars with issues here. The cars don't get fixed, but then get sold to the next desperate buyer.
