Terrible service from BMW Sandton and False accusation 07/04/2025 Monday - I booked my vehicle in with BMW/Mini Sandton for a service, Drive train error and also a smell of Antifreeze inside the Cabin. 08/04/2025 Tuesday – I received a update – Dump Valve gasket torn, Radiator leak. warranty claim Submitted and parts ordered. 09/04/2025 - 11/04/2025 - I had to follow up from my side daily - No update from Service advisor unless i call to request an update. 12/04/2025 : @ 16h26 To Zandile - Phillip Van Zyl <phillvz@gmail.com> AttachmentsApr 12, 2025, 4:26 PM to Zandile Hi Zandile I am driving my car today @ 16h21 12 April 2025 after i got ir back from service and repairs yesterday 11 April 2025. I switched the vehicle off. Waited a few minutes restarted the vehicle and error was gone, Drove home. 25/04/2025 - 06H45 started vehicle to drive to work and very strange loud noise came from the engine. Turned vehicle off and used alternative transport to work. Entire day i have been calling BMW SANDTON trying to speak to Zandile and Ayanda, NO LUCK no return calls just an email @ 15h37 After calling again, i was told to call BMW On Call to come collect the vehicle by Ayanda, I was promised by Ayanda that my vehicle will be attended first thing Tuesday 29/04/2025. 29/04/2025 @ 09H18 – I called to find out what is happening with my vehicle, NO update my vehicle hasn't been allocated to a Service advisor yet. 29/04/2025 @ 12H47 – I called again as i saw on my Tracker that my vehicle hasn't even been started or anything. I was advised that my vehicle was just allocated to a technician and he will do a Diagnostic on my vehicle. NO UPDATE FOR THE REST OF THE DAY 30/04/2025 - 12H22 – called BMW to get an update on my vehicle, left a message with reception for Ayanda or Zandile to call me. 01/05/2025 - Public Holiday 02/05/2025 - I called BMW at 10H51 11H02 11H11 11H21 – Finally, someone answers call left message for Ayanda/ Zandile 12H04 – No Call I called again – I advised Zandile that i see on my Tracker that my car wasn't driven or started since 30/04/2025. I was advised by Zandile that since 29/04/2025 they only did diagnostics on my vehicle, and they couldn't test drive my vehicle as the fuel in my vehicle is too low and they need Authorization from ME to pour R300.00 petrol in my vehicle to test drive it. I said i will come there. All of a sudden after the call ended my vehicle was turned on and started. 12H45 - I arrived at BMW Sandton and i was told that the Workshop manager will go with me on a test drive with me so i can show him was vehicle is doing, I poured fuel in the vehicle and went on a test drive. Drive train error light didn't come on but I pointed out to the Workshop manager that the performance for a 225KW vehicle is not up to standard and I pointed out to him the funny noise coming from the Turbo while the Turbo was boosting, Workshop Manger tell me its normal, i advised him that it isn't and i never heard the noise. The workshop manager tells me that well the car is nearly out of Warranty and i mustn't expect BMW to rebuild my car or replace any parts cause the warranty is nearly out and people make things up to have parts replace, I TOLD HIM It's not the case. We got back to the dealership and i told Ayanda i am not Happy with the feedback from the Workshop manager or his attitude towards me and for the fact that he told me i want my car to rebuild by BMW. I went to Zandile desk and told her I am still not happy with the performance as the car is Lacking power for a JCW 225kw car. A total stranger sitting at Zandile desk then rep**** and said” I drive the same car and mine pushed me back into the seat, so clearly something it wrong, I rep**** and said YES, since you guys worked on my car the performance is not up to standard, I then went to Ayanda and told he was the Stranger said and that i am not happy with the Work shop manager attitude towards me and my complaint. Ayanda told me to take the car and drive it, and she will arrange for me to drive the Vehicle with someone from BMW Technical department on Tuesday 07/05/2025 - As they will know what's wrong. Zandile walked me out to my vehicle and tell me the best is for Technical to get involved as BMW wont rebuild my car for me as the plan is expiring in 7000km, I rep****, I don't want my car rebuild, i want my car fix to the way it was when it came in and they worked on the turbo. My car was called from the workshop and I took my vehicle and left. Driving home I heard something rattle inside the vehicle and underneath the vehicle there was a flapping noise, i first ignored it until it got worse at higher speed, I lifted the arm rest and saw 10 *****s/Bolts in the Centre consol. I drove straight back to BMW Sandton. I arrived at BMW Sandton and walked straight to Ayanda and called her to my car and showed her the *****s/Bolts, Ayanda advised me it must be something they didn't secure, the called workshop, I looked under the vehicle and saw the belly pan cover it loose Ayanda took my vehicle down to workshop and had it sorted, it was treated as nothing urgent and as if it's just a normal useless complaint. 05/05/2025 - I called BMW South Africa and logged a complaint about my poor service with BMW Sandton and a friendly lady by the Name of Fancy Moeketsi assisted me - BMW Joint CIC Case: 8103179793, Service Dissatisfaction; New Defect - I explained everything to Fancy and send her all correspondence and pictures of the loose belly plate and *****s. Fancy advised me she will take it up with dealership. 07/05/2025 - The day i was supposed to test drive my vehicle at BMW Sandton with a gentleman from Technical i waited for Ayanda to call me to tell me when I must come to the dealership with my Vehicle, I never received a call from Ayanda until 11H30 to advise me that She spoke to technical and they Authorized for my vehicle Gearbox Oil to be changed and see if it improves the issues and eliminate it, I then said to Ayanda i hope they will change the Gearbox Oil filter also then cause, Once can't change oil without Oil filter, what if the oil filter is blocked? Ayanda advised me she will investigate it, but Technical approved a Oil change. I also said to her, that with the Oil change they need to retrace their steps and look at the work they did on the Turbo gasket and around it it it makes sure all is secure and Tigh as i can still hear a funny noise while driving and the turbo is ****ling up. I reminded her about my cousin who drives Mini in the UK, and he also told me after i got my car back from the Service and radiator repair that it feels like my car has a Turbo from 1980’s. @ 16H41 – Fancy called me from BMW Head office regarding my complaint and Fancy advised me that she battled the entire day to speak to Ayanda and Zandile and just spoke to Zandile and the response from Zandile was” we had done all diagnostics on the vehicle and drove it and can't find anything wrong with the vehicle, Client must get a second opinion on his vehicle” I WAS SHOCKED AND EVEN MORE FANCY, I Said FANCY: Does the left hand not know what the right hand does at BMW SANDTON?? I said to Fancy I got a call from Ayanda at 11H30 my vehicle is booked in for Tuesday 13/05/2025 at BMW Sandton for a Gearbox Oil change, Fancy couldn't even answer me the way she was shocked. Fancy advised me that she will keep the case open and work on it again on Tuesday 13/05/2025 - The service I received is absolutely appalling, Ayanda doesn't know what Zandile does or says, and neither does she know what the Workshop manager does or says. Even a friendly salesman from MINI told me that he can even hear my car performance is not up to scratch and I should insist that Kenny works on my car. I feel intimidated by Sandton BMW service department because i am raising a issue with my vehicle after they worked on it and they make me feel like i want my car rebuilt under Warranty before the warranty expires. ALL I AM ASKING FOR IS DOING A PROPER CHECK ON MY VEHICLE ESPECIALLY WHERE WORK WAS DONE AROUND THE TURBO AND MAKE SURE ALL IS CALIBRATED AND ALL PIPES IS SEALED AND TIGHTHEN PROPERLY, THE POWER OF MY CAR IS NOT LIKE A CAR WITH 225KW.

MELLINS i-Style CRESTA - Bunch of ****mers, and the staff behind the counter is more worried about there cellphones and social media, I went for eye test on a Sunday and they told me what glasses i needed, an hour later i called them to cancel my glasses and went to pay for the eyes test, THIS WAS JANUARY 2024 - NOW in January 2025 they handed me over for Spectacles i cancelled on the SAME SUNDAY and never collected, reason being glasses was ordered on the same day. Who manufacture spectacles on a Sunday ???? I am going to social media with this ****.
I have been having problems with my Wi-Fi for the past 3 weeks, i work from home and need it up and running. I have been trying to report it on the Whatasapp portial with Webafrica for the past 3 weeks. Either the agents take like 10 minutes to repsond between message or they just simply close the chat. Yesterday a agent by the name of Kgopolo Morige told me my issues is resolved, IS IT RESOLVED - NO. during last week a agent by the name of Mandisa Kubashe just ignored me completely and eventually the chat timed out. There is no contact numbers for Webafrica support. I emailed Glen Chambala yesterday Morning arleady, 24 hours later not even an acknowledgement of my email .
I saw a 2007 Polo 1.6 Comfortline on the WBC website and drove to Nelspruit on Monday 20/11/2023. When I got there 21/11/2023 the vehicle had no water in it. Churchill put water in the car and started it up. I questioned the noise from the engine and another gentleman from WBC advised me that is how polo Idle. I tried to ope the back doors. None opened. Churchill advised me it's the child lock which failed its a small issue. I drove the car and purchased it as the car got a clean bill of health from Dekra and no issues or roadworthy issues was picked up. Driving to Johannesburg I noticed the car is very bouncy on the road. I got home on 21/11/2023 late. On 22/11/2023 I started the car up and the noise was terrible. I assume it cold and polo idle like that. I took the car to have roadworthy done and wad advised that the car will never pass roadworthy 1. All 4 tyres is older than 5 years. Tyres was fitted in 2017. 2. All 4 shocks is worn and leaking oil. Left from cv boot is broken and missing parts. 3. The noise from the engine is the 3lwatwrpump bearing which is actually gone and the car is leaking water. All which Dekra never mentioned on the report which h I have from them on the car. Took the car for insurance inspection only to be told the car is a Trendline and not a Comfortline. Checked in the manual for the car and there unit is with the VIN number it's a trendline. Called Churchill he told me he will speak to the Manager Morne. I eventually spoke to Morne and he will investigate it. I got a voice note from the divisional manager via Churchill do I want a refund or an alternative car or my money back. I said we'll I send the car for shocks cause if I am in an accident my insurance won't cover me or the vehicle. Morne tells me WBC don't pay for repairs the consumer did. I said I want my shocks money and money for the car back. Eventually he told me to log a ticket on the website for Investigating onto the matter and someone will call before Friday. Friday the car broke down and I had to replace the waterpump , cambelt and pulley which wad totally warn but WBC say the car has a full service history. Monday 27/11/2023 I called Morne from Nelspruit he ignored my calls. I called Churchill and told him what's going on And nobody from head office called me and I am going to the media with this. Suddenly Amarah Patel called me from Headoffice. She was busy and couldn't call me. I explained the entire story to her she said I must send her all the Invoices I paid for and they will investigate and escalate the matter, also on the email Vino Ragolane is ccd. Monday afternoon I got stuck with the old tyres on the car and had ro replace 4 tyres. Tuesday 28/11/2023 Vino is still escalating my complain to see if I can get a refund for all my expenses on a car they said is in perfect condition along with Dekra. I eventually said to Vino. I want a full refund for the vehicle and all my expenses on this vehicle. I don't want any more surprises from this vehicle. Till now Vino is quite. WBC with dekra sold me a car under false pretense and a faulty car which they said has no issues. Yes I have all these issues and 6 year old tyres kn the car which my insurance won't cover . All I want is y full money back for the car and all these repairs which I was **** about from WBC and Dekra.
Good day, So yesterday my neighbor an elderly lady of 81 years old got ****med and ****** inside Shoprite Randburg Square in Randburg - Gauteng. a certain lady dressed in similar clothing like the Staff of Shoprite ****** and ****med this elderly lady right inside Shoprite by the fridges where she lured the elderly to. The elderly lady went to the desk where all the managers and supervisors was sitting and explained to them what happended and all they could says is "shame" the elderly lady asked them to see the video footage and got a reply that the camera at the fridges doesnt work, SO TELL ME how did the ****mer and thieve know the camera at the fridges doesnt work???? after the 81 year old left the store the ****mer went back again and purchased goods for R1900 with the elderly ladies card? how many more elderly customers must be ****** and ****med inside Shoprite Randburg Square before anything is gonna get done??
I wish i could give Darren(DP) and Lucas (used Car Manager) at Hyundai Northcliff a 00. I was sold a Demo vehicle with 9000 km on the clock. first the Tyre Pressure System was faulty, back bumper part have a dent in it and is loose on day one, then i realized the Wireless charging system isn't working. I noticed on the left front between the Bumper and Fender the paint was actually chipping till the bear Bumper material. Driving on the Free braking at 120 km/h the entire Car was shaking. took it back to Hyundai Northcliff the same friday, they took the car downstairs to workshop and i was told the brake disck is wobble they must do a warranty claim. my car went in the next week for the Brake disc and also the wireless charger. car came back brake disc replaced, wireless charger not fixed the car needs to be booked in again they cant find the fault, Me myself red the owners manual only to realise if there is metal on the charger it doesnt work, guess what found a 10 cent coin stuck in the charger remove it and the charger works. drove the car for a few days and got an anti freeze smell, opened the bonnet and see the car has been leaking coolant for a long period of time, the coolant even form like a hard piece on the radiator, send the car back, car got back they only cleaned the leak where one could see the cooling hard pieces. 2 days later I smell anti freeze again, check the water the water is very low,all this after i Video Called Lucas the manager and point all the problems out to him on Video call, Saturday morning i drive to the dealer ship and deman to speak to the DP, the DP wasnt in Lucas said he will help me, i showed him all the issues that i send the car back 3 times already which isnt fixed, all of a sudden Lucas starts screaming and shouting at the sales person Thato infront of me and told Thato he never knew the car was there on the prevoius day, Lucas tell Thato that he is suppose to resolve queries which means Thato must sell Cars, do after service follow up, check on car roadworthy and check on cars in the workshop. , funny cause Lucas signed a petrol slip for my car. I refused to leave the dealership and Lucas is treating me with security and police to remove me, Also lucas doesnt wanna give me the DP number, Lucas tells me i can drive the car 350 km with a leaking radiator i must just keep filling it with water. Eventually spoke to the DP and organised a courtesy car, red the fine print, i am liable for a minimum of R10 000 should anything happen to the courtesy vehicle, i declined the courtesy and went home. The Darren the DP should he will call me first thing monday to come fetch the car, i eventually went there at 13h00 and Darren had an excuse he was in meetings all day. took the car down stair to workshop again, only to be told by the Master technicion that the radaitor is faulty and bust open they need to replace it, Darren advise he will do a warranty claim and call me later, Tuesday Darren calls me only to tell me no stock of Radiators , on back order for 21 working days, I insisted to cancell deal or replace vehicle, Darren then replaced vehicle on 29/10/2022 and i signed the forms with the FNI for Substitute vehicle, 15/11/2022 i request a border letter from Nedbank for the vehicle to go to Botswanna, only to realise Nedbank still have the old vehicle on file, i called NEdbank they didnt even know about the substitute vehicle or that the vehicle was changed out. Called the Dealership apparently the FNI who i signed with was fired or resigned. I re-opened my complaint with NEdbank and insisted on cencellling the deal and my deposit back. Darren the DP blames NEdbank for not doing there work, I asked the Dealership for the original forms i signed which was sent to Nedbank, oh they dont have it and cant find it, so what happended to the forms? how was the forms submitted to Nedbank?? Darren insist still Nedbank didnt do there work. I insisted to have the entire deal cancelled and i want my deposit back and i dont want a car from Northcliff Hyundai. Darren then threatens me if i dont sign the new Substitute forms he is coming to take the current vehicle i am driving back and give me the original defect DEMO vehicle back as its still on record with Nedbank. how pathetic is that from a DP. they dont wanna cancell the deal or give my deposit back, but instead threaten me to take the defective fixed demo vehicle back. BE Carefull of Hyundai Northcliff and avoid if possible at all.
So i bought a new car in March. i was told by the dealership that the car comes with a tracking device from Netstar. It will be a Netstar Nano device. on the 23 of March i received a Fitment certificate from Netstar stating that the Nanp Tracking device have been fitted into my vechile by DVM Tracking and Celluar Service in Roodepoort. Funny my car never left my sight since i collected it from the dealership till date, nobody came to me to fit any tracking device. I Called Netstar 4 times already and every one is telling me they need to investigate what happended. Lee-Anne promised to call me back it now 2 weeks still no update from her either. They got paid Cash for this device and now i dont get any service or help from them. How can we trust Netstar with our valuables which we pay lotsa money for every month??????
Good Day Mr. Marq Roberts I am one very unhappy customer from your Fury ISUZU Woodmead Branch. I purchased a 2013 Golf VI 1.4 TSI REG: CP 87 GM GP - from your dealership on 16 July 2019. From day one when i picked the vehicle up from the showroom i have been having endless problems with the vehicle and the problems just continue non stop. .1. The day i picked the vehicle up from the Showroom i tried to adjust the passenger side rear view mirror, only to found out the mirror doesn't work properly and the glass is normal home mirror glass which was installed by the previous owner and never picked up on the check Fury ISUZU doesn't when they test a car before delivery. Till date still not fixed. 2. The radiator on the car leaked water, i took the car back, while the car was on the lift at Fury Isuzu Woodmead i saw the radiator actually burst open on the side - The plastic on the side popped open, the car was sent to some mechanic in the south of Johannesburg again to fix the radiator. I got the car back. the next morning the car was leaking water again. The car was taken back to this mechanic in Johannesburg South again to fix the water leak. The radiator was never replaced it was refurbished with new plastic and lots and lots of Black silicon. The car came back from this mechanic in Johannesburg South. i pick my car up and the car doesn't have power. Its makes a loud whistling noise, Myself and Scot took the car to VW Barons Woodmead only to found out the Mechanic in the South never fitted the turbo pipes on my car properly and it came off and they drove my car from Johannesburg south like that - How much dust and stuff went into my engine????? 3. There is a humming noise coming from the front of my car while one is driving from 100km/h upwards. First i was told its the tyres, i went to replace the two front tyres at TWT with brand new tyres, Still the noise was there. I had a trip to Polokwane coming up i was told its safe to drive my car all the way to Polokwane with the noise nothing will happen.I went and came back from Polokwane with my car still the noise was there, I was told the noise is from the back tyres. I went to TWT to replace the back tyres. I asked TWT to check balancing and alignment again on the front tyres to make sure its not the tyres. Still the noise is there. The car have been back and forward between the Isuzu workshop and this mechanic in Johannesburg South, Eventually they replaced the right hand side wheel bearing as this is apparently which is causing the noise at Isuzu Woodmead. I picked my car up, on why driving home i hear the noise again and even worse. I phone Scott and he told me to bring the car back. That is nearly three weeks now since my car is back and still nothing have been fixed, they still doing test and all to see what the noise is. I was then told my car was booked in with VW to replace to find the noise and fix in on Monday 16/09/2019. Last week Thursday they needed the courtesy car back and they only had my car there, so i said let me drive my car till it it goes to VW on Monday. Thursday afternoon 12/09/2019 i get to the dealership give them there car to my car and start it up, first thing i hear is a new noise from the engine. I call Scott and tell him to come and listen to the noise all of a sudden from the engine. Scott advised me its because the engine was washed. I took my car and left. Friday 13/09/2019 the noise got so bad and loud i took my car back to Scott. Scott called Peter the workshop manager to hear the noise. Peter told him its a bearing or something that is making that noise and he doesnt recommend that i drive the car. Monday morning my car went to VW Barons WOODMEAD. I kept on asking what is happening with my car, when am i getting it, Yesterday i was told by Scott VW is replacing the wheel bearing and the pulley which is making a noise. i will have my car Friday as i am travelling for this long weekend. I decided to call VW to hear what is actually up with my car. Only to be told by VW its both front wheel bearings needs replacement and the water pump is making the noise and it should be replaced as there is clear signs that its been leaking for a very long time. I said OK when will my car be ready. they told me they never got authorization to fix my car, i even called VW today 19/09/2019 and still no authorization to fix my car , instead they where told they will be supplied with parts to fix my car. I asked VW does it have a warranty on the work? VW told me NO warranty as they cant guarantee the part they will be supplied with, so there is no warranty on the work they will be doing to replace the supplied parts. So i pay over R200 000 for a car, i get a reconditioned radiator with black silicon all over the radiator, My car gets driven from Johannesburg South to Woodmead with a turbo pipe off , I still have a house glass mirror in my rear view mirror, my car is been fixed at VW with no warranty cause of after market parts?????? Now after the Water pump was replaced the super charger is making a nose and i brought it to Scotts attention. Scott advised me they will book the car in with VW Strijdom park. The was car booked in on Thursday 14/11/2019. on thursday afternoon i was informed by VW that the supercharger is making a noise and it must be replaced and also this is what is causing the vehicle to be so heavy on fuel. Friday Morning Scott and Zukile came to collect the loan 1 Series BMW from my office which i was given on thursday and i advised SCOTT that i dont want this GOLF anymore and he must please take it back and and give me another vehicle. Scott advised me that it is in my Consumer right for him to take the vehicle back and give me another vehicle. Later the day when i call the Dealership to find out about a courtesy vehicle i spoke to Pouche and was very rudely advised the following " I am tired to pay for vehicles and you and the other customers put kilo's on my vehicles. i am not aware that your car is back with the dealership , i dont even know what is wrong with your car Scott never told me and i am not giving you a courtesy vehicle." Which once against indicates the left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing in your dealership. I then called Martinus and he was very helpfull and advised me he will contact the dealership to return my vehicle to me. Guess what. i only got my vehicle back on Saturday morning after i had to send Martinus a whatsapp telling him i never got my car back on friday and i was left stranded at work on Friday and had to find my own way to work on saturday. I then got my car returned with an empty empty tank of fuel after i handed my car in with a half a tank of fuel cause i know its very bad to drive a car on reserve fuel. Zukile and Scott eventully dropped my car off. Zukile was very friendly, Scott didnt even great me and parked as far as possible away from me to avoid seeing me. All i want is to return the vehicle and the dealership provide me with a new car and change it with the bank or fix my car as a supercharger doesnt pack up over night. In total since i bought my car i have bearly driven my car 1.2 months, during the rest of the times it was was the dealership or some apparent mechanics in the South of Johannesburg trying to fix it, you have 3 major works shops at Fury Isuzu Ford and Mazda but for some reason the car always had to go to the South of Johannesburg to be fixed then i get the car back with the turbo pipe of which means twice my car was driven from the South to Woodmead and back to the South with the Turbo pipe off, imagine what debris was sucked into the engine? Till date i still couldnt be supplied with the Pre delivery check that was done on my car, cause if it was done then the dealership would have picked up all the defects on the car. One of my referrals to the dealership is still waiting to be contacted to have his car sorted out. Is this the quality service and cars the Fury motor group is selling and wanna portray to the public and the motor industry? Your feedback in this matter will be highly appreciated as this has been an problematic car from day one and still giving problems.
So since beginning of this year my child started doing a 4 year course with Damelin in Braamfontein. The lecturer name is Karabo. Every Monday Karabo is not at school so no classes for the kids. Tonight again they got a WhatsApp from Karabo saying “ see you Monday guys study hard this weekend. “. How can they study hard if they not even done with the work and they starting exams in two weeks time? Last week he wasn’t at Colleague Thursday and Friday. How do I know I get value for my money from a lecturer whom is Never at Varsity? I wonder if the head of Damelin Braamfontein knows what is happening at this institution? I need headoffice to intervene here.
