Worst ever after sales service. I purchased a vehicle from we buy cars JHB South, the vehicle was A rated with NO mechanical defects. After purchasing the vehicle I realised there was a noise from the suspension. I took the vehicle the very next day to an RMI approved workshop for inspection as a purchase the vehicle on a Sunday and they confirmed mechanical / suspension defects that was NOT disclosed at the time of purchasing the vehicle. I logged a concern with we buy cars within 24 hours informing them of the defects. They promised feedback withing 48 hours of which they did not keep upto. 72 Hours later I had to call and demand feedback as they initially refused to update me on my concern status. I eventually received an e mail requesting documents / quotes which I sent through immediately. There again I was promised feedback within 48 hours. After no feedback I went into the branch to enquire on the status and after some time and persistent I was informed telephonically that the concern has been approved and the process to pay for the repairs cost will be done withing a couple of days. To my surprise 48 hours later I receive a WhatsApp message to say the concern quote has been rejected. I call we buy cars to enquire as to why the change of decision and no one in the customer care department was able to share details I was merely told I need to wait for the formal letter to be sent via e mail as the matter is with the legal department (which I am yet to receive). This is totally unfair practise and pathetic customer service not disclosing mechanical faults on a vehicle there after not willing to assist the customer effectively to resolve the concern. Legal processes will need to be adopted and name and shame will take place . Extremely disappointed expected more professional service from such a company.

I had an issue at the locker so I emailed the support link provided via WhatsApp notification, which was the beginning of a great experience with them. Worst ever after sales service experienced. Purchased an item from makro,the delivery process went well. After only using the item only 3times a few components began to fall apart and break. I contacted Makro for help in resolving the matter,this was a mission and I was taken from pillar to post before getting any help.I was eventually told after a week to return the entire item to keep intact the warranty.The return was logged and item collected 2weeks later.I was told I should wait for 10working days for the item to be accessed and feedback to be given which never happened. Eventually 3weeks later the 3rd party calls to ask what was the issue with the product and promised feedback within 2days. Upto this point Makro had still failed to respond to any of my e mails or calls.Third party confirmed the repairs will be done and the item will be handed back to makro to facilitate delivery. nothing was done. 2weeks later Makro told me no repairs will be done and the item will be returned.
Pathetic customer service unable to resolve a query and can never find the correct person / department. I was charged additional migration charges on my account but no1 seems to be knowledgeable or willing enough to assist
Portia from customer service needs to be praised, offered effective, reliable assistance and keeps to the promises she makes to the client. Extremely happy with her help thus far. Keep up the great work!:-)
Most *********** bunch I have met . Cannot resolve a refund query for over 2months every time giving a new excuse. They refuse to call back to give the client feedback you need to call them. Extremely disappointed in their ability to resolve a simple query. Surely considering changing my insurance company.
