It is extremely distressing the microsoft restarts my computer without notifying me. I sometimes lose work which is really annoying. Surely they can fix this bug?
I spoke to a consultant to change 2 details on my policy. She assured me they were done and put me onto a senior manager to review the policy and see if there was anywhere that I could save. While talking to him the revised policy schedule came from the original consultant. I noticed that one of the two things had NOT been changed. I asked the manager to change it which he said he would do. He then told me my new premium after he had reviewed it but when the schedule came the premium was a bit more than what he said. But it was around where I thought it would be. I also noticed that the second of those two details had NOT been changed.......
Nedbank is generally good but now they just changed my home loan debit order date without my permission and when I specifically objected to this happening in the manner they prescribed. Very disappointed that they did not respect my wishes as client.
Tokai Melomed sent us a bill for R26 000 when we had hospital authorisation. Nobody told us that the authorisation had expired and they kept my wife longer so they could make more money. She was begging to be let out. Also, they kept her in high care on a cardiac monitor for 2 days after her tests showed she was healthy. Melomed is a money-making racket!
OK Foods Colesburg keeps sending me marketing sms's which I do not want. I have tried to opt out but the messages keep coming. I live 800 km from Colesburg and have no interest in their shop. I am extremely annoyed every time another message arrives.
After registering a claim and following the whatsapp instructions about sending miway photographs of the vehicle damage, they told me they did not receive the photographs on their whatsapp account. I was asked to resend them, which I did. All messages and photographs from the first and second send were shown as delivered. Then two days later they sent a letter saying they have rejected the claim with the reason being "Vehicle Not Available for Assessment". Nobody at any time asked to inspect the vehicle. I was asked to submit photographs by whatsapp for assessment which I did. This is the second time miway has treated me very unfairly. The previous time they were taking a fat chance and when proved wrong they chose to refund my premiums rather than honouring the claim. miway apparently means their way, not the client's way!
I got called recently about upgrading my contract and I said no. They called me again a while later. When I told the lady I had already said I did not want to upgrade and please could I not be called again she just hung up on me. But to show how little their callers are she asked me how I was and when I rep**** with "sick, and you", she said she was also fine. Lack of respect twice in one call.
Budget keeps taking my money and assures me on the phone that the policy is active but they cannot even bother to just send a simple emailed letter confirming cover that I can send to clients. Its utterly bizarre and, I think, poor service that I have to phone in to request this letter despite them continuing to take my money. I called in today and the guy I spoke to still sent me a policy schedule stating that my cover had expired! And he did not even send the confirmation of cover letter which was the reason I called in the first place. How useless......... So I had to call again. And then I got a letter on the wrong company letterhead! So I called a third time. And eventually got what I needed.
I have generally had good service from MiWay except for one issue that was handled terribly. However, my main ripe is the struggle to get the policy correct. I keep having to ask for corrections to be done because they do not get done properly. I send in detailed corrections by email but it seems these do not get taken on board when doing the corrections. If they could just follow the written corrections then it would be done correctly.....
I booked and paid for an 8 night stay and on arrival the host told me that one of the nights was already booked and we had to make alternate arrangements. I tried to contact Air BNB to explain and get a refund for the one night but they never reply. The host also stopped talking to me after I checked out. Not worth risking one's money.
