Poor communication, requested a quote and immediately made a follow up call. I was promised someone is busy with the quote and will receive it shortly, 2 days later still nothing.
Very bad service. 1. You cannot reach them when in an emergency as they do not have a contact number, you basically have to log in to the app and chat to a bot. When I asked, a lady told me that they are not running a callcentre. 2. The very same bot you do chat to, is so useless, it takes you back and fourth until your battery dies. Please stay away, you will be paying for a non existent service. Any other insurance atleast has a contact number you can contact. I made a call me back request 3 months ago but never received any call. Now during the Easter weekend, they tried to debit earlier resulting in bank charges, and what followed was at-least three calls over per day over the long weekend, and even when I told the person on the line that I was driving, he persisted in saying this wont take long and proceeds with "please note this call is recorded rubish..... Don't waste your money because you will never get any help when you need it. I only got a mere "sorry"from one of the seniors When signing up, they will sweet talk you that they are always available, which is a lie
Guys please tread very carefully. Rather ask for a quotation than to let them apply with banks for you. I was interested in a vehicle and a lady by the name Cindy will insist on you sending your documents so that her and Lindiwe can apply for you. All the while Lindiwe will send an application to major banks but with a different price than the advertised. Almost R28000 was added to the application to the bank and when I queried, I was told that they added a dekra report, a service plan, license and registration as well as delivery. How con the client pay for the dekra report? And secondly fo a vehicle that is older than 20 years you will be charged R6000. When I queried why the amounts still don't add up, Cindy became very aggressive and the dealer principal by the name Hansie called and apologized. Please stay very far away. Or if you are really interested in a car there, never send your documents, rather ask for the quotation and approach the banks yourself/
Went to a American swiss to pay for a laybye which i took out at sportscene. Upon paying, with a card, I was told there is a problem and a receipt has not been printed. I was advised that the money would bounce back to my account. Waited almost two weeks and nothing had happened. When I went to the store, only then was I advised to bring my banking details so that they could follow up, did that and still nothing happened. I went back to the store and was told that the money has been located hanging somewhere unallocated and that it would be returned to me in the next 5 working days (Imagine it was first 10 working days plus now an additional 5) I was also told that I should call the customer service which would fast track my query, now calling the customer service is a nightmare as you are on hold for about 15 min then you are told that they will transfer you to the relavent department and the the phone just cuts. Till today, I have not heard a word from anyone!!!
So these insurance company has decided to blacklist me. I took out insurance cover with them upon purchasing a vehicle. When the month ended I called and told them that I have found another insurer with cheaper premiums. They acknowledged my cancellation and promised to send me cancellation letter. They never sent the letter and after calling them a number of times I was told that they don't have my records on their system. They kept deducting until I changed my bank account. When I checked my credit report, I realized that they keep updating payments as if the insurance is active and in arrears. Never go for this insurer as they are nonsense
Still pathetic service. They have installed a tracking unit as instructed by my insurer, the information on the paper work is all wrong. My contact details are wrong, my address is wrong, sometimes I think they are running a comedy show. I called in when i first realized this and updated my info, yesterday I get sent a document from them with still the wrong info.
Complained about their service a week ago on hello peter and they called me. The social media guy that handles complaints was just as I expected. He does not know what is going on there himself, promised to get back to me but failed, he could not help and insisted that I should cancel. Now they are persuading me to cancel so that they can say I need to pay a cancellation fee. How do you cancel a service that is not provided. Never make the mistake to fit a "cartrack" device on your car. The guy even blatantly **** and said that he has sent an email that confirms our conversation
Never use their service. I had a consultant call me with a smooth tongue convincing me to fit their device in my car. I did so and constantly testing my device every 3 months. On the second occasion that I called in to test my device, I was told my vehicle is in certain place (+-100km) while it wasn't. I disputed then they said that the tracker is out of warranty. How so, because it had 1 year warranty? Now I was advised to book a callout which would cost me R800 for their defective tracker. I have since changed my account and they have handed me over and I receive at least 10 calls a day from viljoen attorneys.

They will tell you the same pick up line and try to use tactic for you to acknowledge a debt that is over 5 years old, they do not have any paperwork to support their allegations, when you request for proof or a signed contract/voice recording, they will say they are waiting for it, all the while calling you every 20 min telling you that their calls are automated. DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE ANYTHING UNTIL THEY CAN PROVIDE PROOF.
