I was not home to receive my parcel. I called the delivery guy, and he tells me he threw it over the fence in my garden. I could not find it in my garden, so I called him back. After a few calls, he told me he would come back later. He called me back and told me that he was in front of my house. I was outside and couldn't see him. It turns out he threw it over the wrong fence at the wrong number. He shouldn't even get 1 star.
My husband and I went there yesterday morning, we needed to see a teller. The queues were so long and some people were sitting there for more than 2 hours waiting for a teller They had one teller busy while we were there but we decided to leave. An elderly lady went to complain to the staff at reception. She left very unhappy. What's worse, the male staff member laughed behind her back when she left. No provision made for long queues. Also, when did it become okay for elderly people to sit and wait for so long, there were a few in the queue. Terrible service! Judging by all the negative reviews it seems to be an ongoing issue that has not been resolved.

We visited Shazmin's in Sandton city today. We were a party of five. When you eat out as a family, you want to eat together. Our order came in drips and drabs. My husband's tea came WITHOUT milk. We asked one waiter for milk because ours was now behind the counter making food, which I found strange. We waited, then eventually I got up to ask for the milk AGAIN. Then my husband noticed he didn't have a teas**** with his tea.😣 My daughter had to ask for her drink after a while. Then we asked for my daughter's order because we were eating and she had no food or drink yet. The atmosphere was ruined by the poor service. I refused to tip them. How can all the waiters leave the floor and go behind the counter to prepare orders? One waiter was even on his phone all the time. When our waiter went behind the counter to prepare food, we got another waiter who didn't know our order. Very disappointing. I was so looking forward to trying out this place for the first time.
I am questioning the integrity of PayFast. I had to make a payment online for goods. It turned out to be ****mers. When I called their head office in Cape Town, I was told that there was nothing that they could do. Surely they could red flag the account and inform the bank as they had a record of my transaction. I felt that it wasn't important that I lost money and my daughter as well who saved for the item. As long as they got their fee for the transaction. There is no consumer protection.
I had to use payfast to make an online payment for takkies. I turned out to be a ****. When I called payfast, they told me there was nothing they could do. Surely, they have records of the payment. They can at least red flag the account and contact the bank. It doesn't bother them as long as they get compensation. Making money from ****mers just tells us that they lack integrity.
I would like to complain about the Clientele app sales reps who prey on young people in the malls. My daughter and her friend were at the Nu Metro cinema in Clearwater mall when they were approached by a Clientele app sales rep. She coerced them with free movie tickets and all the perks they will get by signing up to this app. After my daughter had given all her personal details 3 quarter of the way, only then were they told about the cost per month. How can a high school child pay monthly fees? Inevitably, I as her parent will have to pay for something I didn't agree to in the first place. Clientele needs to review this practice. Have them approach adults or young people who work NOT children who go to school and don't earn a living. When the screen said verify, the rep pressed accept herself. Young people are easy to bamboozle. I am very angry. My daughter has a part to playing this for being gullible in the first place but the rep is the adult in this scenario. I will be cancelling that debit order on her banking app myself.
I bought a hand mixer and bowl at Makro just over a year ago. It cost R799.95. Both beaters broke so I took it in to Makro to send them for fixing or replacing. Apparently my warranty had ended just a few days before that. I received a call from Makro to say that it will cost me a whopping R1700 to repair. They have to replace the motor and beaters which is DOUBLE the price I paid in the first place ! The quality of the beaters have deteriorated considerably as well as the motors as it is an appliance that we don't use often. I had a Philips hand mixer for more than 10 years and it lasted for that long. This Kenwood mixer NOT EVEN A YEAR!!
I bought KFC chicken from the Bergbron branch with Mr. Delivery in May. The chicken was absolutely horrible. It was tasteless, smelled like old oil and didn't have the fragrance of KFC chicken like it normally would. I then contacted Mr. Delivery. They emailed me and I received a call from them. Then I was contacted directly by a staff member at KFC Bergbron branch to say I will be compensated. He apologised and said that he would be in contact after he has spoken to his manager. I am still waiting for him to get back to me. It has been more than a month now.
I bought items at Precioux in Cresta. I kept 1 item and wanted to do exchanges. They did not have stock and I was told to come back. I went in the next week, still no new stock. i was told told to come in again. Went in sat 4 July for the second time to find no new stock. I was told that I have to take a credit note. I needed the money to buy a new item somewhere else. Now I was going to spend double my budget. I called Michelle on 6 july who is the manager. She said she was not authorised to give cash back, she would call the owner. I called her back on 7 july. The owner Penny Rodenhurst refused to give my money back. How do they get to keep my hard earned money > is it my fault that they do not have stock ?
