I was very apprehensive about ordering from a site that I’ve never heard of. However, the international reviews online seemed amazing, and so I decided to take the plunge on quite an expensive item. It was the only place online that I could find this product that could be delivered to South Africa, and it was actually much cheaper than most places overseas! Best of all, import duties and customs were included in the price you see on their website. Anyway, the online tracking through their app was amazing and the level of support from the staff was simply astounding! There’s 24/7 live consultants available to answer any questions and I regularly contacted them to tell me exactly what was happening in at each point in the delivery stages. My item was sourced in the US from the official store and then was sent to the Desertcart hub in Dubai, and finally arrived to me in SA. It took slightly longer than the expected arrival date, but this was due to a hold up at customs in the US, which was out of their hands. We just had to wait the process out. The package was delivered through DHL and everything went really smoothly! I’m so happy that I found this store. Will definitely use it again! Note that I’ve seen some items that were much more expensive than places like Amazon, however items like mine that I ordered was much cheaper. So it just depends on the item and how they source it, I guess. But really give this a try if you find something that you like!
Disgusting treatment by staff at the Daniel Hecter V and A Waterfront. The lady didn’t even greet or explain herself and immediately shouted at me for not sanitizing, when I did. I told her to review camera footage and she still insisted that we didn’t. Very very rude and I’ll never visit again.
On Friday (28 May 2021) I finally got a response from Samsung VOC regarding my case ( I had initially contacted Samsung on 12 May 2021 about the issue I had where an item was not in the box of my tv when I opened it). The response now was that I must get a legal team to contact their legal team if I’d like to take this matter further (despite me having evidence showing that the item was meant to be included in the box!). How insulting to a customer!!!! I’m done with Samsung and I’d like to return the TV. I’ve now been told by Samsung support that it’s past the 14 day cooling period to return the TV and it may be a problem. However I’ve only received a response from VOC on the case on 28 May 2021, yet I made Samsung aware of my issue on the day I received the tv on 12 May 2021, so it is not my fault that the cooling period passed and they took their own time to get back to me. Please get back to me so that I may return the TV. That is all I want now. Thanks.
Absolutely pathetic. Ordered an item from here and it arrived a few days later (which is a few days too long for modern times we’re living in!). I received someone else’s order and immediately reported this. After a few days the courier randomly arrived at my house (no communication from watch republic about this) and I had to scramble to have the item ready for collection. It’s been over a week and I still have not received any communication about when I will receive my correct item. They said the the product I returned will have to be inspected before releasing my order! WHY?? They sent me an incorrect order and should’ve immediately shipped out my correct order while processing the return of the incorrect item! So they have my money now and I don’t know what to do! Will never use them again!
