After a disastrous service from Rain, I app**** for fibre connectivity through WIRULink based on Hellopeter reviews. What a pleasure! First of all, WIRULink still has agents that communicate with their clients - not the automated web based interactions with bad AI. My experiences with other ISPs have frustrating and I never felt as if I could get issues resolved, With WIRULink you speak to actual people who are willing and able to assist and will go out of their way to make sure that you are helped as efficiently as possible. I want to make special mention of Nadia von Molendorff who is the agent that assisted me throughout the process. She followed up with the fibre providers (first Vumatel and later Openserve) to resolve the issues with provision of fibre to my location and then constantly gave me feedback and reacted when I needed additional assistance. All the time I felt as if I was in good hands and that she would ensure that the process is managed to conclusion, which she did. This review is the first thing that I am doing on my new fibre connection, thanks to WIRULink and in particular Nadia. Thanks!!!
My Rain service started in September 2024 and all went well until about 18 December when a thunderstorm hit the area where I live. After that the service went down intermittently. I reported it an every time the advice is that I should move my modem to a better spot. This does not make sense, as the modem worked well where it was for almost 4 months. I eventually did move the modem around, with absolutely no improvement in stability. I advised Rain about this in a response to their support e-mail. I have not received any further responses from them. I would have liked to speak to someone about the issue, but it is impossible to get through to the Rain support center. Nobody ever called me to discuss the issue - only e-mails. At present I am trying to stream a Netflix series, but the internet fails every 7 minutes or so. The frustration of this prompted me to write this review. I work from home and Teams calls are almost impossible to conduct. My image with clients is at stake with this poor service. Sorry Rain, but your service is pathetic. At present ( January 2025) it is almost as stable as a one-legged chair.
I have appointed Vorster Incorporated Attorneys in Grit Avenue Centurion as the conveyancing attorneys in the sale of my house. The process has been handled extremely professional and feedback on progress was given weekly, even if nothing happened in the week. The buyer and I were provided with advice where it was needed and I felt safe entrusting the transfer of the property to them. Charlene, the Conveyancing Secretary is a star! Always professional, helpful and friendly. I recommend them for any home transfer.
I have engaged with a number of agents for the sale of my house. The one that stood out in terms of professionality was Charl Nienaber of Pro Properties in Centurion. He has an absolute passion for his profession and it shows in how he conducts himself, how much trust he instills and how he is always ready to advise and assist, even with the purchase of my new property in another town and with another agent. The fact that he was the agent that sold my house speaks volumes, but even if he did not manage to sell the property I would still have held him in high esteem. I will recommend him any time.
I have ordered multiple items over the years and always received what I ordered within the promised times and in good condition. I never had to return anything and was always curious how well this would work. I recently ordered a watch for my wife and it was dead on arrival. The return and refund was prompt and efficient and I had my money back in a couple of days. The fact that the watch did not work was not Takealot's fault - they deliver what their subscribers provide and they do not always have control over the quality of the product.
Pizza hut makes great pizzas. However, using their mobile app to order is pure agony. My branch is often not available, the app is buggy and sometimes deliveries get delayed because they get lost. I am getting to the point where I will take my business elsewhere.
Ordered items more than 2 weeks ago and the order remains unfulfilled. Not so reliable after all.
On Sunday evening I noticed that the drain connecting to the main sewer was blocked. I reported it by e-mail at around 7pm an Monday morning by 10h00 the problem was attended to. This is absolutely 1st class service.
When I embarked on this journey of claiming my UIF benefits, I felt a sense of dread. We all have this perception that it is laborious to deal with Government. What a pleasant surprise! I registered on the uFiling web site and received notifications via SMS on progress. I submitted the required documentation (forms that need to be provided by the businesses you worked for and the bank where the money must be paid in). There were no problems with my forms and I promptly received a notification that my claim was approved. I then got an e-mail explaining the benefits that will be paid. Jonathan Kilian from the Pretoria office was the assessor that dealt with my case and he is an absolute star - he is professional and communicates promptly and clearly. Thank you!
The staff of The Pool Team in Centurion is very knowledgable and friendly. At a number of occasions I have bought pool repair supplies there and I have always left the shop with a smile. Silas was the last sales assistant that delighted me with his friendly attitude and expert advice. I bought too many of one of the items and there was no problem returning the surplus.
