Good day, On 6 March I bought a new speaker set for a PC and the staff was not bothered in assisting me, I always like to walk around and look at everything, even one of the employees commented he cant believe no one approached me yet after walking through the whole store. I bought the Jebson JB652, there were 3 on the shelf, two were opened, of which one looked good which I took as it was black to the till but the speaker was dented when inspected at the till so I took the last one which was sealed and white as this is new items. After using the speakers at a desktop pc at work the subwoofer stopped working after day 2, it wasn't even played loud as it is used in a office environment. On 13 March I returned it to the store on the 7th day to be refunded/replaced so it was still within 7 days but the manager said it was not and had to be sent for repairs/assessment to the supplier and the waiting period is 21 days. The staff is very unprofessional the lady who processed the return picked the speakers up by the wires trying to put it back in the plastic and packaging. Apparently returns get issued to salesman who assisted in the selling of the item when returned and the employee also pointed out his frustration to the lady at the till as he didn't assist me but was recorded on the receipt and now had to process the return. On 3 April I returned to the store as I received no communication and this is now day 21 according the previous employees they seem to count days like that and I asked to speak to a manager. A lady at the till assisted me and explained to me that it was not 21 days yet as it excludes weekends, I explained my frustrations to her with the situation and that I wanted a refund as I dont want fixed speakers that the other employees dangled around by the wires, I wanted a refund/replacement and she said I had to wait for the 21 days to be contacted. So I still dont have an answer. The service at this store is terrible, more so the attitude of some of the staff members and I will never be supporting this store again, I will rather go to Kuilsrivier or Somerset West where the employees know what customer service is and their products are in a good order as customers are attended to, at your store you will find new items that are damaged on the shelves.

Upon entering the restaurant, I enquired about a bathroom and the cleaning lady informed me she would open it once I ordered something as I had to order first. I proceeded to order a breakfast meal and sat with my laptop by a seat with a plug at the top of the restaurant, when my order arrived the filter coffee was still basically black and I asked for more milk to be added at which point I was told I need to pay extra for more milk. I showed the assistant at the till how black the coffee was and he said it is how it is made and I would need to pay extra for more milk. The coffee cup wasn't even full. This is my first time back in Sea Point in 12 years and the service is shocking compared to what i'm used to for the area. I tested the free McDonalds wifi and the speed is non-existent I could even open a google search page.
No where in their correspondence was it mentioned that the aircon service fee excludes VAT. The company seriously needs to work on communication and professionalism. My appointment to have my aircon serviced was rescheduled 3 times, I understand that unforseen circumstances do happen but not this level of unprofessionalism. Even when they were promised to arrive they came late when they eventually came. The first invoice was also incorrect due to bad communication between your office and field workers. I doubt I will be using your services again.
Settlement balance was requested to close an account and paid on 2020-01-06, the payment reflected on 2020-01-09 and when phoned to close account was advised the settlement amount was too much leaving R420.46 in excess in the account. I was then advised that a refund would take 7 days which would then also attract account fees by then, I was then advised to purchase the amount at a Game store which I did to make the balance R0 and phoned to close the account on the same day and was informed I would be sent an account closure letter. I never received the letter and contacted Game again and learnt that account charges were added after the account closure was requested and I would have to pay this, after complaining I was informed it would be reversed and the account closed, I spoke to Sharon on the phone, this has however still not been done and I received a statement to pay outstanding fees. Game has now subsequently debited my bank account without my permission, I lodged a dispute with the NCR and also cc'd Game informing them I do not authorize any further debit orders on my bank account. I want the finance charges reversed, my debit order refunded, I also want an account closure letter, I was informed that this could take up to 30 days which is unacceptable. Game\RCS is now stealing from me!
