I had a horrible experience today at Chamberlains Silver Lakes. I felt small, just because Iam a Black lady against White old man! I have been a customer since we started building in 2025 and I thought it was their policy that all customers have to pay first if you are buying paint that is not a standard colour, but today I saw that this is not the case because whilst I had paid and was waiting for them to mix my paint I observed that they gave a white customer his mixed paint before he actually paid! A black guy came after him and he was told to go and pay 1st! I asked the teller why this is so and before she could answer the white guy she was busy helping angrily told me to wait my turn, I answered I have already paid just waiting for my paint then he called me a *****!! Management came after that and they tried to diffuse the situation but I still feel I was treated this way because of the colour of my skin!
'No good deed goes unpunished' sadly I have to agree to this idiom bcoz of the nightmare I'm currently going through! When Lorato Nyambi contacted me after seeing our house for sale on property24, She asked for an opportunity to advertise our house for us and I agreed, thinking I'll be giving a black female, like myself a chance to earn some money,this was the biggest mistake of my life! To cut the long story short, she found a buyer and after signing the OTP days went by, the buyer cldnt get 100% homeloan. We started hvng disagreements with Lorato and I reported her to PPRA but afterwards decided to withdraw the case, another mistake on my part. Fast forward to September 2025, Lorato Nyambi is no longer spkng to me but only to my husband she told him we hv to vacate our house by end of September 2025 so when my husband told me this I had to quickly rent another house in Pretoria and since that house is small, get storage for some of our furniture as well. Unfortunately after we has signed a 6months lease for a house in Pretoria we were informed by the lawyers that the bank was doing an audit on the buyer and will not be paying us the money for our house that we are selling, they assured us the audit will not take long. Now it's November 2025 we are still paying for an empty house in Pretoria, for the storage we never needed and our house is still not sold! Lorato Nyambi from Oranei realtors did us dirty, she is dishost, did not excesize the duty of care for us as her clients. To date we have wasted over R45 000 and we are still bleeding money each and every month and she does not care!
Winston Davids is a real germ to Eastern Readymix Tshwane, a company that provides readymix concrete to all building companies and individuals building their houses. Winston is extremely efficient, professional, polite and friendly. He really made building our house to be a breeze. This company should ensure they keep Winston because they will never find someone like him ever again. He even came on-site to ensure things run smoothly and we finish on time! On 20 December 2024 I took my car for wheel alignment and balancing they charges me R670 in total but one hour later they called and told me they cannonly do 2wheels as my other wheels were smooth and one had bubbles. So I told them I don't have the money for new tyres they can do what's possible on the car. Now my problem is that they refused to refund me cash for the other service I had already paid for. They said they will write on the invoice that next time I come there they will know that I have money left over with them?? I ended up saying I will bring my daughter's car fir wheel alignment on 23 December 2024 as I was told their policy is not to do cash refunds!!! Iam pi***d off why is it so easy for them to take our money coz I'm sure I'm not the only one who had to pay before the service, but then u are told you have to buy new tyres and what's worst is that they refuse to give you a cash refund?? The owners of this franchise must be made aware of this daylight ******* as it affects the name of their brand!
The Nedbank banking app has saved us from getting ****med. Unknowingly to us ********s had done a sim swop on my husband's phone. We just realized when we could not pay new account numbers via the app and it kept on blocking the payment! Only after going to the branch that we realised that there was a sim swop done on his cell number without our knowledge thats when we realised we were almost ****med! Thank you Nedbank your money app is the best!
I just had a dissapointing&cold service from a lady called Anita at Pepcell, highveld mall. She looked angry for some reason. She didn't greet me was just silent after begrudgingly assisting me, I had to ask her if I have finished sending the parcel, she looked bored and said yes. @Pepcell don't you teach your employees the importance of customer service? Bcoz the service I got today was terrible next time I'll be using a courier company!
Pretoria/Hatfield branch of the House of Graduates shop is ***********! My daughter ordered a graduation gown for her graduation on 14May 2024 only to receive a wrong colour hood and band!! Can't they read or they just don't care they only care about the money we pay!! When I called their head office in Durban the lady cut me off instead of transferring me to the manager! Iam so upset right now!
I had to cancel my car insurance today and was helped by James (I forgot his surname) He gave me sound advise and I'm grateful.I think I will go back to Momentum once my finances improve. James, thank u, Momentum is lucky to have u work for them.
This car wash in Witbank Highveld Mall nearly lost my Audi Q3 today. I went there this morning around 9am and I left the car keys and asked them to do wash and polish costing R270. 2hours later when no one had bothered to call me and inform me to come get my car. I went back thinking they must be done by now; when I got there I paid for the car and when I was supposed to get the keys no one knew where they were!! After 30 minutes all the employees were arguing blaming each other for losing my car keys. They were eventually found! another customer had them they were given to him by mistake!! I was so annoyed but took my keys and left! I will never go back there again, they are so disorganized and careless with our cars! Why did they bother to take my cell no yet no one call to let me know my car is ready! Secondly; how can they make a mistake of giving another customer my car keys!! Their careless mistake nearly cost me my car!!
I took my car to G&J panelbeaters to be serviced, firstly they made me sign an acknowledgement that **** parts will be used on my car, when I asked them about this they said it's in the conditions of my insurance. Now 2 weeks later I only got 1 phonecall on progress of my car, and it's getting expensive for me coz I hv to use Ubers everywhere! This is not what I signed up for! I'm so frustrated!
