On the 15th August 2025 i submitted a claim for damage to my front left tyre and rim i indicated on the claim that i was not going to claim for this but i needed a letter from the insurance to say that i will not be claiming from them as i would be claiming for damages from the roads department. To date i have not received an acknowledgement or contact from the insurance and it is now 4 business days later.
With the launch of the BP and Pick n Pay Smart Shopper Competition loads of customers have not been getting their free toy after 4 fuel fills of R500 or more. For the last two weeks 14 to 25 July 2025 none of the BP garages have had stock of the toys. Even through out the time of the competition there has been an entire week when no stock was available.
I received an insurance claim from my insured company and Automagic was assigned vendor. My car was taken in for the repairs on the 22 April 2025 and i was given an estimated time frame for the completion of the repairs. Since the repairs i have been either call are was sent a message with updates of the progress of the vehicle. I want to say well done to all the staff for a brilliant job , please keep up the good work. All the front staff are always pleasant and friendly.
I lodged a claim on the 20th January for damages to the 2 front mag wheels and tyres and the claim was authorized , i then found out that i needed to pay R4000 excess which i disputed because that is not the conversation that i had with the broker . I was told i will get a recording of the conversation . It is now the 7th of April and i have still not heard from A& G or received the recorded voice conversation.
I have been trying to cancel/end 3 data contracts with vodacom since the 15th July 2024 via the 082135 customer care number without any success. I have emailed customercare@vodacom.co.za on the 16th July 2024 with no response yet. I have been a customer with vodacom since 2006 but customercare really has gone down the drain. They are quick to want to sign you up for a contract but when you need assistance with cancelling contracts they are none responsive. I have 3 mobile contracts that are due for upgrade, really not sure if i want to continue this relationship with vodacom.
I had an accident on the 29th October 2023, the claim was evaluated by their claims assessor and finalized and a schedule was sent as to what the payment and settlement of the claim was authorized . The outstanding payment to the financial institution was supposed to be settled in 7 days as per settlement letter. To date no response from Discovery insure and it is now the 27th November 2023 a month later. The poor broker linked to Discovery is bearing the brunt of my frustration which is not fair.
Our club account has been dormant for a while and we have been trying get this account up and running but after 2 months we ready to give up

Today 24 December we visited Woolworths Cavendish store just after 8am . The store was full and the queue to the payment section was long but the wait was short. Thank to all the staff for making a shopping experience during the craziness of December easier . A very well run store especially during the bussiest month of the year.
On the 22 December 2022 I visited Tiger Wheel and Tyre Claremont at 09h00. They were very busy as usual in a December mad rush of clients . I was very impressed with how I was kept in the loop continuously by the service consultant while I was waiting on my vehicle 4 wheel balancing and alignment .The entire process ran smoothly - thank you to the consultant who assisted me as well as the staff doing the work and the store manager for a well run service 10/10
