Absolutely appalling! I returned eight sink taps in November and still haven’t been refunded. My return was delivered to the wrong place, and months of emails and calls got me nowhere. Today, I got a call from your agent Confidence Moeketsi, who insulted me, swore at me, and blamed me for your mistakes. Completely unprofessional and disgusting behavior. Leroy Merlin, this is outrageous — terrible service, zero accountability, and abusive staff. Avoid at all costs!
Standard bank is taking us for a ride, they are earning interest on my money first before releasing it. The worst part is that they charged me from my account the inward fee but still held the money for their interest gain. On Friday the 15th November I sent money from foreign account to my standard bank account, within 5 minutes I was charged for inward transfer by standard bank but the transferred money is not reflecting. So they are charging me on my account taking the money I was supposed to use for something but still held on the foreign transfer amount. Today is Monday the 18th still the money is still not reflecting. This is bullying at its most.
When standard bank charge you immediately when you send money from outside but held the money for the next 24 hours. Is this so that they can gain interest twice?
Nedbank undermine black people, and they are not apologetic about it. I have an agreement with them to run their debt orders last day of the month, gues what they run it on the 28th before I even get paid. Who is entitled for the charges? I tried to call them and Lerato (call center) gave me attitude, I opened a complain on her and I was told no problem. No explanation.

I was retrenched November 2023 and put on my claim with Makro for their insurance to cover for installments. They came back to me and inform me my account will be frozen as the insurance will be taking care of the account. The account was frozen but December installment run and bounced. Now I'm reliable for all the changes plus interest on their side as insurance didn't pay. What's annoying more is their call center who calls me and charge me for the phone calls, and not willing to listen to what I have to say.
I don't know where to start, I was retrenched last year in November and put on my claim with standard bank for all my accounts. They then responded informing that claim is approved and payments will be paid into accounts and they will inform the bank to stop all the debit orders. Guess what, all the debits run end of December irrigardless what they talk me and debit bounced and I'm been expected to pay charges. Next thing I received a separate email from lerato S informing me that RCP claim is approved and the claim will be paid. This was on the 6th December, now is the 10th of January yet no payment. I tried to follow up and all I get is matter is escalated. And when l ask about what is the timelines, no one knows. I'm now in bad credit score because standard bank.
I have been debited unduly by Finchoice, the call center lady and her supervisor told me I will refunded and now they are telling me a deferent story. Finchoice it is a pure ****. Be careful. They are *****s.
Standard bank insurance customer care services is a nightmare. I brought a matter to Dikeledi, and she doesn't respond to my emails nor answer my calls. My car was not fixed properly, I had a breakdown in freeway and cover the costs. Standard bank insurance is running away from this.
