I went to Makro Montague Gardens for a refund on the 19th of January and today is the 12th of February I still haven't received it. Only the 6tj they sent me an email to say the refund will take 7 to 14 days to reflect after numerous calls and emails and no response. How is it still 7 to 14 days when thus was requested on 19 Jan??? Can you please process an immediate payment. Its now almost a month
I recently ordered furniture from Decofurn, and the experience has been nothing short of disappointing. The items delivered to me were not sealed, raising concerns that they were previously returned by another customer. Is it even lawful to deliver unsealed goods? To make matters worse, the delivery driver stood on my glass table and, despite my warnings, proceeded to stomp and dance on it, claiming it was safe. This kind of reckless handling is completely unacceptable. I cannot trust the quality of these items after such mistreatment. I have requested Decofurn to collect them, but this entire experience has left me deeply frustrated. I do not recommend ordering from Decofurn if you expect professionalism and care for your purchases.
I bought an item online which I refunded 2 weeks ago, I am still waiting for a refund and no one from Makro has called me or sent an email to give me an update. I spoke to Palesa , Refilwe and Mthokozisi in over the phone from their call centre who said ill be sent communications and get a call but nothing. Refund was requested 2 weeks ago but i found out this week that it was not initiated and they said they will escalate it but no one is getting back to me or giving me feedback when i call
Today I was harassed by McDonald's staff at Stoneridge. I understand they said one cannot sit there the whole day using their wifi and electricity without buying anything. At past 9 i bought breakfast and continued to work. They kept giving me ugly stares and were talking about in my presence saying " this girl is still here" whilst looking at me showing me that are discussing me. Everytime they went to the bathroom i was getting ugly looks as they pass me. One of them came to at past 1to say you've sitting for too long you need to buy now. I was on a call when she approached me and said this, she didn't care that im on call and she just spoke wven when i signalled with my hand that am on call and ill speak to her as soon as i get off the call. She walked away and went into a glass are where 2 other employees ( her colleagues)were sitting they were discussing me outloud infront of other customers that " this one is still here" . Their manager approached me. She didn't even greet me she went straight into talking and said you've been here for too you must leave or we will call security. I told her its not that i do not want to buy,i will i am on a call and at 14:15 i have tea time i will go buy lunch. Before she came her colleague passed by and i asked if she can please help me by buying on my behalf if i give her my card as i was not able to stand up at that time. She said she cant because she is not allowed to take my card and i can go buy at 14:15 and buy again before i leave. I tried to tell this manager i spoke to someone else and explained she wasnt willing to hear me she said i have 5 minutes to buy or leave. They switched off the plugs so i could not charge. One customer went to different tables trying to charge but the plugs were off. The manager told her they put off the plugs because i was sitting there and didnt want to buy, in my presense shes talking to another customer about me. I went to buy lunch around 13:50 after the call and i asked if i buy wil i still be kicked out or wil they put the plugs on. They then put the plugs on. After ordering they were so mean to me my order was ignored until one of the staff there after 35 mins who was friendly throughout asked if i haven't reeived my order i said no and she applogised and came back with it ( other people arrived after me and got orders before). After that i still got ugly look and they still continued to discuss me referring to me as " ngwanyana o " meaning "this girl". I bought ice cream at 4pm that was my last order. I asked for the managers name and they refused to give it to me. I explained to Glenda how i was treate d she admitted the mananger in the 1st shift was wrong but refused to give her name.she als refused to give me hers and walked away when i was speaking to her. The staff there were throwing hands in the air saying dont assist her leave her like that. The only person who assisted was Bongane and he provided Glendas name. They were shouting saying they dont care and that bongane must stop assisting me. Glenda as the manager told bongane to ignore me. What kind of manager is that? Who even walks away when a customer lays a complaint? They said i was being disrespectful because i asked for the managers name? A white lady came and sat down for more than 2 hours but she wasn't treated the same? Why? Was i an easier target because i am black and they were afraid to approach a white person?? The white lady even slept. No one harrased her. But i was harassed for just sitting? And i was asked questions like do we know how much we pay for electricity? You are using our wifi and electricity to pish your business? I wasnt even using the wifi because my Pc doesnt connect to wif that has no password. I am disgusted by the treatment i received from this staff. What kind of managers behave this way?
I went to Incredible Connection today 21 July at the Cavendish Branch and their staff was really helpful but I am unhappy because when I paid my payment went off my account but it was not reeived by them and they told me that the funds will reflect back into my account it normally takes a few minutes but it depends on the amount. I left the store without the TV i went to purchase and withthe money out of my account and i was told it will fixed by Monday. I cannot wait until Monday for you guys to fix this. I need my money back by tomorrow morning so i can still purchase the TV there or go somewhere else and not be further inconvenienced.
I ordered a UPS from Vyybo and getting it was a mission because of the useless corrier company they use. firstly they came to deliver on the 1st attempt and never called me then left and said it is an unsuccessful delivery. 2nd attempt they said the drivers mom passed on which i sympathize with however it has been made my problem because it delayed delivery. on the 3rd attempt the driver from Fastways came to my complex and said he gave my parcel to my caretaker by name ***X and I have no caretaker by that name, now i am asking Vyyboo to come and collect their parcel and I no longer can use it after it was given to unknown persons they want me to pay for the return. I just need you guys to come get your parcel and refund me thats all! I spoke to Keith at Vyybo and he says I must log a return and pay but all of this is not my problem and it is their choice of company to corrier , please take accountability
This company is frustrating they keep saying delivery is unsuccessful but no one has tried to call me. I spoke to Kamo who said my order is coming today yesterday and said she will escalate my issue but today i called her and she doesn't remember this issue and say there are no drivers delivering in my area.
I had a bad experience at Truworths Cavendish store and when i asked for an apology they refused. Their manager Rachel Vieira-Timmie spoke to me in a rude and disrespectful way in front of 2 of the staff and other customers in store. She poke to whilst clapping her hands in the air in my face as if im dumb or stupid. I was told thid would be escalated but their area manager Emilio Smith calls me and says that its not possible for Rachel to apologise. I get tgat they have sone duty to protect their employee but whay about me as a customer who was disrespected by their employee in front of people?? The least they can do is for her to acknowledge that you dont speak to people as if they are a ****** or some animal. 2ndly they handed over my moms accout to blake debt collectors when shes been paying every month even though it was not the full installment. They also made a mistake on my momd account saying she owes 7k and after queries it came down to 5k. That alone says alot about their company. How many people are paying for things they dont know?????
Good day, Please assist, I ordered a few items online using my mothers account and they were delivered bit by bit and not all items at once. I have been going to the store to ask about my order however they have not been helpful. I have been to the store for a month now, no one has shown willingness to assist me to get to the bottom of this. Firstly, they credited back 1 item before the 14 day period. Secondly, on one occasion they told me my item I was collecting was not there, it's only after I pleaded with them to check again that someone went and came back with it. I went to Truworths in Kenilworth and they were able to pick up my order??? how is it possible that at Cavendish they keep saying I have collected my order??? On one of the occasions I was in the store, their manager Rachel Vieira-Timmie was very rude towards me and spoke to me whilst clapping her hands as she spoke to me in a condescending manner. When I told her to not speak to me in that way as it is rude she said it is hand gestures and she is allowed to use them. I understand I cannot be provided personal information due to POPI however all I want to know is where my order is??? Also, I was told by another manager today by the name Shona that they cannot open my moms information on the system and check what is happening with my order but when I go to the store and provide them with my mons ID so I can make payment it is acceptable? How because that also means her profile is being opened in her absence???? I have now left my contact details twice, once with Jackie and also once with Shona whom I believe are also store managers but no one is interested in resolving this. I have even asked that they contact my mother on the cellphone number on record and speak to her as the owner. This is making my mothers installment be higher than it would have been because the installment is now based on items I did not take. These items amount to R4000 and nobody cares about the financial implication of this for my mother. These have been factored into her installment calculation whereas the issue was on Truworths side. All I need to know is where is that order, and can it be credited back and can the instalment be recalculated because these items were charged but I never took them. It has been a month of me coming to the store, can this be resolved?
I bought 4 pairs which I logged a return fr and they have been sending me messages that it will be collected between 8 to 5pm for about 3 times now and nobody came to collect and they send SMSs saying they attempted to collect no driver has called me to collect. The only message i get is that they will collect between 8am to 5pm and no EXACT time stipulated! Am I supposed to stand at the gate from 8am t0 5pm waiting????? their email team is ignoring my emails and nobody has attempted to call me. Now I am trying to log a return once again after 4 unsuccessful attempt and it does not want to. I would not suggesting using them at all!!!! THEY ARE REFUSING TO REFUND MY MNEY FOR THINGS BOUGHT WHICH DO NOT FITTTTTT
