Dear Woolworths, I am totally appalled at the level of service that your Woolies Dash platform has to offer, as a subsidiary of Woolworths SA should the level of service not be aligned. I have been waiting for feedback on a query submitted on Sunday 11/2/24, I was overcharged for an online purchase(rotisserie chicken to be specific), which was not even received. I was debited with the invoice amount, had an authorisation hold on my account for about a week. Points of concern: 1) I did not give Woolworths the authority to debit my account with the overcharged amount. 2) How did my order pass all check points at the store 3) Cashier and shopper not notice the amount when the price appeared at the till point, strange indeed! 4) Why did I have to wait for the return of funds and for the authorisation hold to be released as this was no fault of mine, but clearly the incompetence of the staff at store level. These are question that have not been answered and I have been pushed from pillar to post to try and get answers. Much to my surprise it seems as though the standard of service from Woolworths has dropped and we have no choice but to log complaints on social media platforms in order to get answers.
The fact that Takealot has many disappointing reviews on Hello Peter and has not responded to any one of them, shows that the company is not interested in retaining any of there valued customers. Takealot your service delivery is disgusting, I logged a return on the 6/12 and received a notification on the 16/12 that there are parts missing on the product, made numerous calls to your customers service department, I am constantly told that this is a warehouse and courier problem, this is clearly an internal issue and has absolutely nothing to do with the customer as all parts were supplied to the courier service, who in turn, mind you did take a photo of the parts received. Clearly my return will only be handled next year!!!!
The municipality has incorrectly billed us on our water bill, an incorrect meter has been used on our bill, I have tried to contact the municipality but to no avail, what terrible service, I am charged interest on an error that is the faulty of the municipality. This is appalling service and the fact that we cannot get a corrected bill and this query was logged 3 months ago
Such appalling service from Telkom, I ordered a Mac book Air during the middle of February 2019. I have been debited with the pro rata amount however I have not received any communication if the deal has been approved or declined but Telkom has debited my account !!! I tried on numerous occasions to contact 10213, you either hold on for 45 min or they are offline , this is terrible guys.... taking customers hard earned money and just don't give a damn, I am just requesting that i get communication !!! if the deal is approved.... when will i receive the laptop!!!!!!!!! If declined when will i be refunded..... Please
My hubby and I went into Makro Woodmead on the 24/3/18, to our disbelief we were blinded by false pretense and false marketing, we were perusing the isles and heard an announcement of a Samsung QLED 65 inch that was priced at 35000 Zar and that this was going on a massive reduction and never to be repeated at the special price again and that only 3 would be available on this promotion. The announcement was repeated more than 6 times regarding the unbeatable and once off offer, my husband and I made our way to the front of the store to see what price the TV will be reduced to. We had 5 minutes to wait for the offer to be announced, in that time there were people gathering to take advantage of this special, the offer had then been announced at an unbeatable price of R12500 which I took full advantage of and took one. We were approached by a sales person from the Makro store who asked if it had been annouched for R12500, he then confirmed this with Mzwake the Samsung sales representative who also confirmed the price, he made a copy of my ID and I proceeded to complete a document regarding my TV license, at this stage we were embarrassed and humiliated as we were approached by numerous staff members from Makro stating that this was an error, we then asked to speak to a manager, Mr Kobus Dutoit offered his assistance and stated this this was an error and he cannot reduce the price, I find this unprofessional and will be taking this to the consumer council for further investigation as this is deemed as false advertising, we as consumer have a right to protection against false, misleading and deceptive advertising. All retailers should promote a fair and accessible marketplace and this has been clearly violated at Makro Woodmead, we did not have a right to fair and honest dealing, and for your record I would like to state that my entire home is furnished with Samsung appliances, I will also be sending this complaint to Samsung as well, as the representative promoted false hope to us as consumer, I will appreciate feedback with the next 24 hours on a way forward as this is brand demishing for Makro and Samsung.
