On January 5, 2026, I made a reservation for 4 guests at Fireroom Montecasino for the evening of Saturday, January 24; nearly 3 weeks in advance. Given the lead time, I expected a seamless and well coordinated dining experience. Upon arrival, we were seated on the top floor in a secluded corner, far removed from the main dining area and any sense of ambiance. It was puzzling to be placed in such an isolated spot despite having booked well ahead of time. Even more concerning was the lack of service. No staff approached our table after seating, and when I proactively sought assistance from 2 different waiters, we were still not assisted. After waiting over 20 minutes without so much as a greeting or offer of water, we made the difficult decision to leave and dine elsewhere after addressing one of the ladies whom checked us in (she was very helpful and apologetic though). It’s unfortunate that what should have been a special evening turned into a frustrating experience due to poor table allocation and complete absence of basic hospitality. I truly hope Fireroom addresses these issues; advance reservations should guarantee better than this. I suspect that as they are always busy they really don't care about ensuring smooth service and don't care that guests decide to walk out.
I had a sporting injury that took me off work for 2 weeks. Hospital provided detail medical reports signed by the doctor including a sick note signed by the Dr. PPS Claims insists on me getting the Dr to sign the PPS claim form, which would cost me R1200, although the hospital reports have same info. Escalated to PPS member service whom rather than applying their mind simply forwarded back to claims. Pathetic service from a so called professional body, and the means of escalation was via member services whom just forwarded same email back to claims???
Eezi move helped move multiple items for my son from Johannesburg to Cape Town. This included some delicate items and TVs. They moved I efficiently, speedily and with no issues. I have already recommended them to people that were looking for moving companies
My Kreepy Krauly hug bug was in operation for about 10 months < 1 year old. One of the clips that keeps the top hood closed broke off. On purchase of the unit, The PoolTeam’s (RandridgeMall) advertised warranty conditions: “1 year unconditional warranty excluding tracks + 2 year manufacturing defect warranty” Kreepy Krauly’s responded they don’t cover the hood, yet it states unconditional warranty? They also state they have never replace a hood before, this could have been a manufacture defect and hence did not last a year. Very poor service from Kreepy Krauly and not honouring the warranty terms dictated at sale. Never will buy their product again, back to Zodiac
I decided to move to Kreepy Krauly away from ZodiacMX8, have a hug bug pro less than a year old, in use for about 10 months. One of the clips that keeps the top hood closed broke off. Handed to ThePoolTeam Randridge. 2 weeks later received unit after service by Fourwater with other items replaced but not the top hood, with only 1 clip keeping it together, sure to break. Poor after sales service from (2 weeks without a pool filter!) & not communicating that they will not replaced top hood as they say not covered by warranty although only used for 10 months. This means kreepy krauly’s design is weak and I will never buy their products again. Poor after sales service

I sent my Macbook (2016 Macbook Pro Touchbar) to Cash4Macs for repairs, dealt directly with Lawrence. Lawrence asked me for additional payments for repairs up to total R8000. The laptop was not repaired, even after many queries I was told it was still in repairs. I eventually fetched the laptop myself after Lawrence failed to deliver as promised. The Ts&Cs of Cash4Mac protects the Customers that if the repairs are not done I get a refund. Larence failed to pay the refund. Chas4Macs seem to have scavenged my laptop for parts, the 1TB hard drive missing, the battery looks like it was tampered with. This is ********* behaviour. Cannot trust these guys
Do not use Makro online. On a previous occasion they delivered a defective device, and still not addressed, they simply don't respond. This time they delivered 2 different bar stools and still not addressed
Via Makro online, I ordered a Sonoff smart switch. The switch worked for 2 weeks then burnt out. I logged a return, number MAK4034183. The supplier immediately called me and infirmed me neutral and live was reversed, which I proved was not the case. The return was taken for assessment. The Supplier later informed me via Makro that the load was 2 high. The load is LED lights at 0.34A but switch is rated at 10A, so not the case. It has been more than a month & Makro online has not responded to my queries. It is obvious the Supplier is evading a warranty claim by provided poor reasons for failure Makro online’s after sales service is pathetic.
