I am so happy with their service! I was in a pinch after another company let me down. AFR sent my quote within an hour, collected from that company in JHB the next day and delivered my furniture to CPT within the next week. They also were quite a bit cheaper than 3 other quotes I received. Everything was neatly wrapped and protected. The driver and sales team communicated with me on the day so I knew where they were. They were professional when unloading. After the first disappointment I really can not express how happy I am at the service I received from them.
DO NOT USE THEM EVER!! I will not bore anyone with the details and summarise it below. They arrived 4 hours late to pick up my items with a 1 ton bakkie that was actually way too small for my things. This was on 7 July. It is now 12 August, I have been promised twice now that my items are in Cape Town only to find out when push comes to shove and they run out of excuses that my things were indeed never loaded. Mark blatantly **** to me throughout this entire experience. They will take your money and respond to message until such time that it becomes their responsibility to deliver, then Mark wll ignore you when you start asking questions. I am now sending a second company to get my things back from them and praying that nothing is damaged, lost or ******. I will also unforunately now have to start the battle to get a refund.
I signed up for Fibre internet with Telkom only to find out a day later that there isn't Fibre in my area so it is an ADSL line. I cancelled this contract the next day as I am most definitely not interested in ADSL. Reference number ********** 8 for a case I logged in October already for this cancelation has been escalated twice since no one is doing anything. Meanwhile I am paying for the ADSL which has not even been installed in my home. To be blunt Telkom is busy stealing my money as I am being charged for nothing and it doesn't seem like you are inerested in solving my problem
Half an hour after placing an online order I received a call that Debonairs did not know where to deliver my food which I do not understand as the address was on the order and was correct. Half an hour later I called to find out where the delivery was and was just told it was being delivered. Half an hour later I called again and was promised a call back which I am still waiting for. Again after half an hour I called. An hour later the delivery finally showed up (2 hours after being ordered). I then refused to pay as obviously my food was cold by now and I honestly was so angry I did not even want the food anymore. The delivery guy called the store manager who tried to explain that somehow it was my fault that the delivery guy could not find a simple street address and apparantly receiving the food after 2 hours is not an issue for her. The argument ended when I told her that then she can get the food back as well since I did not want it anymore and would buy somewhere else.
Bought a cupboard from them and decided to install it with the help of a friend who built cupboards at his previous job. First I was given the wrong cupboard. Second the drawers were falling apart. Third I was given the wrong backboard which would break at sometime. Fourth I was given absolutely no instructions for the cupboard and when asking was told instructions for that cupboard did not even exist. The atitude I got was also very bad when I started telling them everything that was wrong. Will definitely not be using them again and would advise other people to also search elsewhere.
Had these guys put in a new fence for my garden. They were quick to respond with a quote and with a date to come put up the fence. They are ons of the cheaper fence installers that I could find. They asked if I was happy with the work while installing so I could change it if I wasn't happy. Would really recommend them for fence installations.
<p>I phoned Ellies to get a quote to install a new video intercom system. The installer installed it about 2 weeks ago and it worked for about 3 days. Now for the past 2 weeks I have been trying to get him back to come fix the system as it has no sound and the picture is blurry. He has also not sent me my warranty papers which I have asked for about 4 times. He missed a meeting with me because after 4 days he apparantly never read my email. When I phone Ellies Pretoria to ask where the installer is they say they will phone him and find out what is going on and never get back to me. The product is clearly faulty and therefore Ellies has to take responsibility to either come and fix it or give me a new system. I am glad to see that you sent this installer for training as I do not think he knows what he is doing. I had to ask him if he connected my gate to the intercom to which he replied "You never said I should connect the gate". Now after the system is up I wanted to write on the tag which button is for the house and which for the flat and to my surprise this seems to only be possible while the system is not mounted to a wall yet. So he also did not give me the chance to write on the tags while he was supposed to and it is actually important to me that people know which bell to wring.</p>
<p>After having to come in to the Menlyn store for about the 10th time in the past 3 months I have now decided to finally complain about their service. The store opens at 9am and then there is 1 staff member working. Then maybe 1 more comes in 5 past 9 and another 10 past 9. The 1 that came in 5 past 9 is yet to turn on a computer and help clients. The same happens when you come in after lunch. I do kot understand how a store which always has a qeue of about 10 clients only has 2 people doing their work properly and on time. Honestly I think you are wasting your money paying salaries to these people who do nothing. Maybe you can just close the store so I can save money by not paying people's salaries who do nothing.</p>
<p>I cancelled my contract in November and again in December after Vodacom didnt do their jobs and today realised it was never cancelled. How many times do I have to cancel a contract before you actually do it? Also when my statement comes it doesnt show that this number is on contract with Vodacom anymore therefore I believe you are pleading fraud on my account as you are either stealing my money or lying about what products I have with you. I am now tired of waiting "21 working days" for you to (not) do your jobs. Be warned that on Saturday I am going to a Vodacom shop and if I have heard nothing before then I am going into that shop angry and not leaving before you cancel my contract there and the and pay back all the money you stole the past 2 months. I will never even if my life depends on it come back to vodacom after the way you have treated me. I was in the Menlyn shop and the manager Wayne promised my contract would be cancelled. He then started ignoring my calls when I asked to speak to him and I am still waiting for him to call me back about airtime Vodacom never gave me. WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED!! </p>
<p>I have LTE with Telkom andd reported slow speed to which the answer was Telkom is aware of the problem. When are you going to fix the problem?</p>
