Every now and then, Discovery Bank blocks my virtual credit card when I perform a valid online transaction. They then claim that they tried to call me, yet I never receive a call. It is an ongoing problem to get this sorted out. Avoid this bank at all costs."
I placed an online order with Dischem. I received a courier notification stating the package was out for delivery at approximately 13:45. Incredibly, the courier arrived at the delivery address only about 15 minutes later, expecting me to be present. It is simply impossible to travel 50km back home in such a short timeframe. The primary issue is that delivery notifications are not sent out early in the morning to allow customers to plan appropriately. The package status now shows it was returned. To compound the problem, there is no support available during office hours—neither from the Dischem online store email nor the branch email provided (Table Bay, Western Cape). Bad bad service and support.
Unable to submit a claim online with Santam- The MAP option to indicate where the incident took place continue to fail. I have send send a email to Santam to assist me to submit the claim. Their response: They cannot help as I did not give them the claim no in the subject line. Seriously, maybe help me first to submit the claim. Not very good support Santam
I placed an online order with Captain Haddock Seafood Market, paid, and received confirmation, including an email promising same-day delivery (without tracking details). The delivery never arrived on the scheduled day. When the delivery finally arrived the next day, I refused it due to the risk of food contamination with delayed seafood. My emails to Captain Haddock Seafood Market went unanswered. Via WhatsApp, they initially confirmed a full refund and admitted they should have notified me about the delivery delay. However, despite multiple follow-up emails and WhatsApp messages providing my banking details, they have since ignored all communication and have not issued the promised refund. This company took payment, failed to deliver a usable product, provided poor service, and is now ********ly withholding my money.
I followed a link to get a free gift when I order dog food. There was no indication of any T&C's on the link. Only the dog food was delivered and no free gift. Food was returned. 1 week later still waiting for my full refund. Bad service.
Our fibre started giving problem weeks ago, daily reboot of router to get service and failures ever night. (we even swopped the router with a spare to check) Last Thursday morning fibre service was down and it is still down. I first contacted Frogfoot and as expected they confirmed the fault is with Vodacom. After a uphill struggle to get support from Vodacom they confirmed the fault is with Frogfoot - Now it is a ping pong game for me as the customer. None of them can take responsibility for the customers fault and handle it end to end. Now Frogfoot just sit back and do nothing. Our guesthouse full of International Guest sit without WIFI for days. I will cancel by fibre today if not resolved by 13:00
Our fibre problems started a while back. We had to reboot the rooter to get Wifi/fibre Service (Average 2x a week). THEN nightly at around 22h00-00h00 the wifi (fibre connection failed). Next morning all was working again - Typical due to upgrades late at night.. Last night (14March2024) same thing, internet/wifi/fibre down again. To date NO internet service at all. Very slow support from vodacom, are they hiding something??? We have a guesthouse, we need internet, our guest also use internet because the vodacom signal in our town to so very, very very bad!!! You business is bad vodacom and that also impact our business. Please vodacom, send out and SOS for help - not a please call me.
I placed on online order 3 July, 3 items. All 3 items showed as IN STOCK. After payment I was informed there in not stock, I must wait. 28 July the order was updated with READY FOR DELIVERY. The courier guy showed up at my home 29 July with only 2 items. Seriously, almost 1 months later and they cannot send the full order - 3 items. Shocking online store, bad.
Capitec Bank Forex department ignore all emails. I had to complete forms and send it back to Forex. From that point they just ignore all correspondence. 6 weeks struggling with Forex to confirm if forms was received and in order. Worst Bank in SA.
Placed an order for 2 Cape umbrellas 15Nov22 and paid in full. still not delivered and terrible communication from them. Order was placed well in advanced for delivery in 2022. Nothing happens, bad service and support.
