Themba, thank you for the warm welcome, admire someone who notices a customer and helps get them seated and also makes an attempt to put a smile on their face. Noxolo, thank you for your service. Ubuntu bakho is unmatched no wonder you’re placed in the position you hold. Very deserving.
The staff has no care in the world, very unprofessional on the chat platform and also giving false information. You guys always disappoint! I placed an order and the store uses ARAMEX to courier goods. The first part of my order came on Tuesday before 11:00am. The second part has not been delivered to me and the status says it’s out of delivery area whatever that means. I honestly hate whats happening because that’s the part of my order which matters most!!!! ****ty ****ty disservice
I am always appalled by the disservice that they give at Debsteers Riverside Square…particularly Debonairs. I ordered a pizza for my kids and waited over 45mins for it. I got so much attitude when I followed up on the order which my kids had been waiting for instore. The lady who prepares the pizza was swamped with orders but also went as far as screaming at me to tell me that she goes line by line and she turned the screen in my direction. I don’t know what that performance was for because I don’t work there how am I to interpret their screen? Nevertheless she at least gave me a time frame and also exclaimed that I wasn’t given the correct information when I was informed that we would wait 15mins for our order. When it was ready, the lady Dipuo opted to give another male his pizza before mine and he had ordered long after me. Then she further left the pizza there, not even in the warmer and went all the way to the back. As in she left the kitchen and went somewhere else, they had to call out her name for her to return and hand me my order. I don’t know what she went to the back for and when I enquired why she did that I didn’t get a clear response, she mentioned something about a security guard. Not sure how that takes priority over a paid order, which I had been waiting for, for an elongated period. I further dislike how I was addressed more than once, in a language I couldn’t comprehend. If people hate serving us food, they may as well stay home and let the robot system function. That food was for my kids and I don’t understand how one has to complain first to get assistance with a dash of attitude. I hate that experience a whole lot and it wasn’t the first time, which is why I prefer a delivery. The drivers are much better and I also get better service at Debonairs in Diepsloot. I’d rather drive there than to purchase at the square. Last year they delivered my order the next day when I had ordered on a Saturday. I was shocked ‼️ This needs to stop!! Please retrain your employees to practice TCF, we are paying customers. This happened on Saturday around 16:00pm

I was so disgusted by the poor service rendered by the cashier Sito, and manager Zama who later removed her name tag but it was too late cause I had already seen her name. None of them apologized for the cashiers appalling behavior. The manager didn’t even greet us at all to acknowledge our presence. The cashier kept addressing me in a language that is foreign to me. I just couldn’t comprehend and worse off she continued, disregarding that I have no idea what she was saying. I had to ask her to scan the remaining items whilst she was waiting for God knows what cause she didn’t bother telling us what the wait was for. Instead she had her arms folded, and was speaking amongst her colleagues. You can even pull out the footage between 18:30-18:45 to see her body language. She was shrugging her shoulders and spoke with so much attitude! I’ve been in the service industry well over a decade and I was definitely not treated fairly today‼️ No TCF whatsoever. We order on sixty60 for that very reason, less dissatisfaction. I utterly dislike poor service ‼️
Thank you for the amazing service received from Vincent Makhafula and his Manager that was on duty this afternoon. We absolutely appreciate how efficient and vibrant you were. I love everything to do with humility, a warm store and I appreciate overall great service. Took less than 3mins to conclude an exchange. Thank you Team ‼️ Keep up the great work.
Today I was in a bad space, still am but I’ll be okay. One of your staff members did an act of kindness for me to day and I would just like to boast about it. I was at Fourways Mall today and I needed to go back to my car to get my purse. Unfortunately I couldn’t remember where I parked it, I couldn’t see it. So I ended up going up and down with the lift. This gentleman, hopped in and I think he could tell that I was in some sort of daze and didn’t know where I was headed cause the lift kept opening but I wasn’t getting off. He politely asked where I was going and I told him I can’t remember where I parked, I’m just looking for my car. He said I’m on lunch but I can assist, May I see your parking ticket. I handed it over and then he asked where I entered the mall, which robot did I turn from…I practically directed hun and he said we should hop off. I immediately got sight of my car. He was overly excited for me and exclaimed that I was the bomb. A lady that was parked next to me packing things in her car was also excited for me. We all had smiles to be precise and he proceeded to show another lady where to find taxis. Thank you so much for being so kind to me. I wish I knew your name but I understand that when it’s lunch time there’s no need for your badge to be on. You wouldn’t want random people calling it out for no reason. Clicks, you have a gem at your store. It’s really pleasing to see that what your staff does in store, they also do when they’re outside and even in their own time.
I placed an order online so that I wouldn’t camp when in-store. Upon arrival another customer was waiting to receive his change. A lady from steers was waiting for change which I presume was for her customer. She had a sense of urgency & I wish the people serving me had that much urgency as well. However, It took them 20 minutes to give me my order which was already in the warmer when I arrived to collect. At first the cashier with no name tag requested that my order be passed on to me. I then had to a ask her to pass me the order cause she wasn’t busy but again she requested that it be passed on by the guy in a shirt who also had no name tag on. “Can I please have my order cause I’ve been standing here and waiting for a long time now?” As it was being handed to me I stated “You guys are so rude”. I didn’t even get an apology nor a thank you. I left the store as a very unhappy customer & shared my experience with my husband who was waiting for me in the car with our kids. STOP DISRESPECTING AND DISREGARDING US!!
I was at Riverside View Shoprite today, and I got such appalling service from one of the cashiers by the name of Patricia Sathula who didn’t want to assist me. She kept saying she won’t assist with “Lotto” as I was in the queue waiting to purchase it. Her colleague who had no name tag on, and was wearing a leather jacket called her out for not wanting to assist me but Patricia continued to keep saying that she won’t assist with any Lotto purchases because someone said she stole the office stapler. I mean what does that have to do with me? Her attitude made it worse, she said it with arrogance and looked me straight in the eye. Not once, but thrice. I hate the poor service I always get at this store BUT today’s disservice was beyond horrendous. I’m appalled by the fact that after having made those remarks she actually assisted everyone else who was behind me in the queue and I had to wait until the other cashier was done. Patricia should stay home if she doesn’t appreciate her job, there are a lot of people who are sitting at home with no job to wake up to. I’m sick of the poor service at this store more so when they speak to each other in a language that is foreign to us as consumers. Perhaps they need management of a different race to make them appreciate their jobs.
I feel it’s safe to say that I was treated like a Queen by Vino at Menlyn Mall today. She is humble, friendly and goes out of her way to assist customers. We felt valued & she consistently had a smile on her face. Needless to say we went a little over our budget & that’s okay. It was well worth it…we had driven all the way from Fourways. Thank you Vino, I had already given up on finding an outfit today. I had appalling experiences in other retail stores and I’m a sucker for exceptional service. Even my partner was very pleased at how professional you were. Love it ♥️ Keep at it and I pray God blesses you with all your hearts desires.
