After placing an order and paying, they inform me that they do not stock the items. Even when I say I'm happy to wait for the stock to arrive, they still can't guarantee that they can fill my order. What is the point of advertising items on this app which you cannot fulfill?
I decided to give Makro online a try last November. Biggest mistake because the time I expected to save from going in store to shop, I paid triple with all the mistakes: incorrect delivery, short delivery, and they cancelled delivery of an item because it was apparently out of stock yet their system allowed me to order and pay for it. They take your money immediately of your credit card and then make u wait up to 14 days to refund. Also only after you order and pay, they tell u that it was a mistake with the price on the website and they decide to short deliver the goods with no prior communication. It is 2 months later and I am still following up on this unresolved order. My recommendation to anyone who is considering ordering from Makro online: please don't! Choose a more reliable store to order from.
They do not vet their service providers/partners because service providers do not give you exactly what u purchase or have closed down. HYPERLI seems to be a huge hoax tricking u into buying discounted vouchers when in fact you can get the product/service directly from the partner for cheaper. I recently bought a. Voucher from hyperli and after claiming the voucher informed Hyperli about how I felt cheated and ****med. I followed up 3 different times over the last month but have been met with silence from Hyperli. They won't acknowledge or respond to any form of contact from me. Such a shame as they just lost a customer and I will be sharing my experience with everyone I know.
I flew to Cape Town during the 4th wave this week and I was not impressed with Safair telling us masks are mandatory but serving snacks/ drinks onboard and allowing people to remove masks. This lady next to me was choking and started coughing which made me feel like jumping out the window. There is no social distancing on the plane either so they clearly have no regard for the well-being of their passengers.
For the freshest produce at the most reasonable prices, stopping here is a #WIN. My favorite is the delicious sweetmeats and snacks. They have the most pleasant and helpful staff who immediately drop what they are doing to assist when you are looking for something. Even though the check out lines are long on a weekend, the cashiers are so efficient that you actually do not stand in the queue for too long. This is a store that I drive 30km for on a weekend.
I wish I could give this place 10 stars & #WIN. They are brilliant hosts. They set up the restaurant well for get togethers and in line with Covid protocols. The ambience is phenomenal, the waiters attentive and helpful and the owner himself comes up to check that all is fine. The highlight and cherry on top for everyone is the delicious food and they knocked the ball out of the park with a separate vegetarian menu for us. They ensured everything was exceptional. Hats off to you guys. I now make sure that I eat here as often as I can
Northgate Dischem Clinic is the first I have seen with it's own reception however it is the most inefficient clinic in this group. Pamela, the receptionist knows nothing about receiving people as I stood for 10min in front of her while she was on the phone. Eventually I had to start waving my hands in front of her face to get her attention. Khaya, the nurse was completely incompetent. She had a patient when I arrived but allowed the patient to leave her room, go stand in the dispensary queue for 45min then come back and go straight into her room for administering the medication. All this time Khaya did nothing and could have attended to at least 3 other people while time was wasted. When it was my turn, I had the doctors instruction with me which the nurse did not understand and had to verify with her manager. This made me quite nervous about whether I was getting the correct dose. Anyhow, she didnt bother to put on a plaster when she was done. I certainly won't be back here for anything. They do not understand that time is precious.
My shopping at Woolworths Honeydew village was a pleasurable experience as a result of the service of Katleho Majoe. He was definitely the star of my day: friendly, fast and efficient. He has given me a reason to go back even though it’s a drive away. Very rarely do you find exceptional service in a store and it should not go unappreciated. Thank you ,Katleho!
In trying to avoid physical presence in the store at Randridge mall during Covid 19, I decided to call in to find out if they had stock and could deliver medication. In desperation, I called in 6 times and was put on hold each time by one Regina. However, no one answered and the call was dropped each time. Disconnect your phone lines if you don’t want customers.
We had brunch at Mugg and Bean lonehill over the weekend. It appears the quality of food has dropped far below par since before lockdown. In spite of service being great, I don't think I will be back here for a meal which is sad seeing that i was trying to support the restaurant community.
