I will always give credit where credit is due - ,y first experience with RAM was not good at all. HOWEVER I have had 2 positive experiences with them since that 1st bad one. WELL done RAM and thank you for turning things around.
They do not even deserve 1 star!!!! I am livid with their service OR rather, LACK THEREOF. I expected a delivery yesterday and at 17h30 notification the driver could not deliver or reach me - lies. No one called me. Then spoke with an agent last night and was promised before 2pm today. at 13h50 a message saying unable to deliver - again NO ONE called me. Now I am being told they cannot promise it will be today - RAM YOU HAVE RUINED A BIRTHDAY SURPRISE.
The agent was so amazing! Not only did she get me a lower insurance rate BUT she explained everything so clearly!

I made an online purchase 4 Jan 2025 and received my good 9 Jan 2025. It was a luggage set which is to be used for my upcoming overseas trip THIS WEEK. The bags arrived - broken packaging (bubble wrap thinly placed on the bags, a broken zip, scratches etc. I immediately reported it to telephonically, via email and via their website. To date I have been receiving from them are apologies and the words, it has been ESCALATED. Makro you are putting a damper on what is supposed to be a well organized holiday!!!
When I app**** the consultant was very helpful - it was such an easy process via WhatsApp. My main concern I addressed was to check if my router was compatible with the package I opted for. The consultant confirmed it was and so I opted in. I was asked to pay the 1st instalment via EFT and I did that. My simcard was then sent to me. Shortly afterwards, my bank account was debited - this I was told would NOT happen. Then a few days later my WIFI is switched off??? I enquire and I am told the router is not compatible? Now NO ONE is taking responsibility and I am left with a simcard and a contract that is not working for me. I specifically opted for this contract as I cannot afford a new router. I then asked for a full refund and I was denied one. This was not my fault and clearly the consultant was not very well informed.
My sister's data only contract came to an end 2 months ago. She was not contacted by Cell C to check whether she would like to continue her contract. It was simply renewed. Now as I understand, she signed a 2 year contract - no signature or agreement was entered into for an extension. When contacting Cell C, she was advised she will need a case number from the Police stating that this was *****. The Police however advised they cannot open a case of *****. Now she is stuck with a contract that she never agreed to or signed for. This is ********! She is semi retired and cannot afford this contract anymore. Her bank account is being debited for a service she is not using NOR asked for. Clearly not living up to their Core Purpose: We exist to enhance lives, by empowering entertainment and connecting all people in a way they choose.
My son uses GABS to get to school and back. I have to date purchased 4 cards - just last month a card that still had 5 rides on was blocked. I called the number on the phone and was advised to log a call via email which I did. To date I have had no response. The replacements card I bought, #00705186 is now blocked as well. Every time I have to fork out R35 for a new card which I feel is unfair! Theses are tough times - I am recently unemployed so I am not happy with this added stress. I need someone to call me ASAP to resolve this matter.
