Standard Bank has blocked me from my Mobile App! I am sitting abroad (I did notify the bank and setup my account to work abroad) and am stranded! I cannot call from abroad, I cannot do anything. I cannot access my bank. This is quite an urgent matter. I have things I have to pay in South Africa. Utterly ridiculous! Not a happy customer at all!
<p>Used Tempest car hire the past weekend. Guys behind the counter were very helpful and very friendly. Got and returned the car without an issue, and the deposit was paid back without hassle or delay.</p> <p>When I had a query, they were quick to respond and always happy to help.</p> <p>Would definitelly recommend this car hiring company!</p>
I just received an SMS from (+278200999852) saying \You have inserted your SIM card in another cellphone. To request cellphone settings, reply \"yes\" (free SMS) and Vodacom will send the settings to you.\"<br> <br> I am concerned, because this is most definitely not the case. It seems my SIM has been compromised since I didn't insert my SIM card into another cellphone."
I ordered contact lenses. The lady at the counter then put the claim through on my medical aid FOUR TIMES!<br> They reversed two of these, the third which I had to contact them to sort out.<br> Lennel Somers then tells me everything is fine, and I receive my discovery Claims history and I can see that the claim was put through FOUR times, but that the three mistakes (made my VISION Optometrists) had been reversed.<br> I'm assured everything is sorted.<br> Then I receive a bill in the mail for the contact lenses I have already paid for!<br> Absolutely ridiculous. Would not recommend using this company. Their financial department and billing system is just a HUGE headache.<br> It will now be the third time I have had to go into this Optometrist office just to settle this ONE transaction.<br> Mistakes on billing is not acceptable. I traveled with Mango 4 January 2016 from George to OR Tambo.<br> <br> When booking the ticket, I selected a pre-booked seat and paid R55.00 for it. When I checked in and received my Boarding pass, I noted that the seat allocated to me wasn't the one which I had PAID for. No one was willing to help me, staff merely shrugged stating that the plane was fully booked.<br> <br> Mango is the only airline that I've ever flown on (nation and international) which was not able to provide a paid for service of a pre-booked seat after it was paid for.<br> <br> When I went to the Mango counter the lady merely gave me a number to call, stating that Mango might refund me with a voucher.<br> <br> I DO NOT want a voucher as I am not intending to fly with Mango ever again. I want my money back for services paid for that wasn't provided.
I have a loan account with Capitec, and since the day I opened it, I have regretted not going to a real bank.<br> Every month when my pay date falls on a weekend, they have been looking for funds from the Friday. Then, since there's obviously no money in my transactional account at Standard Bank, it takes money from my Global 1 account. Then when my salary comes in (ALWAYS on the 28th) the debit order goes off, but they don't put the money they took back into my account. Then I have to call or go in and get them to put the money back as now the account shows that I've overpaid.<br> Then come December EVERY year, they assume I'll be paid on the 15th. (Funny, I don't recall assumptions being included in my contract.) This early debit date has NEVER been approved by me. There is no way what they're doing is legal.<br> All I ever do is fight with this useless bank. (And its always the same fight. No, I don't get paid earlier in December. Please reverse the debit order, I haven't been paid yet, you're now taking my savings money due to your assumption... then comes the 28th (WHEN I'm PAID) and I have to do a manual transfer!)<br> I am fed up! Counting the months till I'm done with this horrid bank (18)
I purchased a demo TATA Indigo at Hyundai the Glen in April 2015.<br> The vehicle didn't have and aerial and we were told it had to be ordered and will be delivered within 4-6 weeks of pickup the license plates also had to be done (I'm not even going into that struggle, we eventually got the license after two temporary licenses expired)<br> After more than 6 weeks, we contacted them and was told that the person in charge of that wasn't working there anymore and that he didn't order the aerial. (Not our problem) They said it would be here within another 4-6 weeks.<br> Then after another 6 weeks we were told it will be delivered the next Tuesday. Then told it will be delivered before that Friday, then told it will be there the next week... then the next...<br> Still no aerial. It has now been 4 months since I purchased this vehicle! All I'm getting is excuses, and no aerial. (Something I PAID for) <br> I regret purchasing a vehicle through Hyundai the Glen. <br> I'm a very unhappy customer!
I moved to Gauteng August 2012, and did all the necessary FICA things, including changing my physical address. Every time I receive my statements, it still has my old address on the statement.<br> Fast forward 3 years down the line, and bi-monthly visits to the bank with documents and consultants changing the address on the system on different places, and STILL it's the old address on the documents.<br> This is starting to get really REALLY ridiculous! Every month or so I head back in and I am told it has NOW been fixed. Then I receive my statement and nothing's different. My statements are completely useless to me! I cannot use them for anything as the address is one that I haven't lived at for 3 YEARS!<br> I'm tired of wasting my time and Standard Bank just not changing my address properly. I am considering changing banks, just so I can finally have the correct FICA-ed address on my documentation.<br> So Frustrating.

Had my windscreen replaced at Glasfit a month or two ago. At the same time I purchased new wiper blades, and the workers who were repairing the windscreen, said they would put the wipers on for me. <br> Today there was heavy downpour and I used my wipers. Only for them to come off in the middle of the highway! Unable to see anything, I was forced to stop with my hazards on. Truck stopped behind me with its hazards on as I have a small car, and a car drove into the truck! (If it wasn't for the truck, it would've been me! My car is tiny, it wouldn't have remained stationary and Glasfit would've had blood on their hands)<br> Turns out... Glasfit put my wipers on upside down! I could've been killed because of their negligence! You'd think a company that works with this every day would know when wipers are upside down or not! And if they didn't know, they shouldn't have offered to install the new blades as part of the repair!<br> I hope everyone that uses Glasfit has a reliable person to ensure everything is installed correctly, because Glasfit definitely isn't a reliable source for the services they offer.<br>
