They use Value express as courier service and despite the many complaints about this courier they keep using them ....I ordered and paid R 15k for a camera a week ago and the parcel is not even collected. This was my last online order with Makro. Online customer service is not even returning to me with info. May you go bankrupt.
What a terrible experience . I ordered from Makro a week ago and the parcel was due to be delivered today, according to Makro. Upon research, the parcel isn't even collected. Don't try their WhatsApp , they don't respond neither. How can a business operate like that ?
extremely bad service. wanted to talk with a "human" through their chatbot on WhatsApp but no, their system malfunctions. It took them 2 days (!) to deliver a parcel 50 km away. very poor courier service
I have purchased 5 books yesterday, 15/08/2025 10:45 am at the Garden Route store in George. Total R 1559 . To my disgust I discovered that they charged me 4 Rand ( four !!) for a paper shopping bag > What a client service ! I feel ripped of.
My online shopping experience with Mr Price Home in store online service is totally unreliable . The delivery is excessively delayed, falling short of my expectations for efficient service. Therefore, I cannot recommend utilizing their online shopping platform. Their courier service is terrible.
Very bad experience. Paid over R1000 for a parcel from Finland to South Africa. It took them 4 days to get the parcel in South Africa and 11 days from J burg to Oudtshoorn ! Emails nor phone-calls were answered . Never will use them again.
Pensioners ... Why is it that a male gets a discount as a pensioners when he is 65 years old whereas women only need to be 60 years old ? Isn'y that discrimination or not ???
We had tickets booked to Brussels/ Belgium , May 2020. They were postponed by Travelstart due to Corona. I was assured that the tickets would remain valid for a future date. I tried to book a new date, however Travelstart now claims that they no longer hold the tickets and that I should deal directly with the airline. However the reference numbers given are not correct. The email is a noreply mail box, so no way to contact them. Booking reference ZA07956862
Bid or buy allow sellers to advertise items in a false and misleading way.When the item then arrives you have to courier the item back on your own expense. They advertise their buyer protection but read clearly the fine print. They just allow sellers to sell wrong and false products. They would rather protect their seller than you as a buyer. Sorry , stay away from bid or buy
