I bought a recliner chair from Ted’s in July last year (2025) on my brother and sister-in-law’s recommendation. Over the last 10 days the motorised function started giving problems- working, freezing, not working. I contacted the store and received great service. I live in Scottburgh and am unable to drive. So, they sent their guys down about a week after my contact and they confirmed the control was the problem. They replaced it and checked the chair. And all at No Cost! Brilliant! I have been 9 days now in the Orthopaedic Ward at Kingsway Hospital in KZN and what an outstanding caring experience it has been. As an ex-nurse (Unit Manager) I can be very critical when I’m a patient …but not this time. All the staff (cleaners, hostesses, nurses, physios, Drs and all) have been incredibly helpful, supportive, polite, respectful, happy and, most of all, CARING! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone involved.
I recently contacted Outsurance for a quote. I received excellent service from Trevor and, although it took some time for him to get all the details he required, he was able to give me the two quotes I requested and called me back on the two occasions I asked. Thanks Trevor.
I recently flew from Durban to Jhbg (flight GE210 13:25 September 7th) on Lift for the first time. What a pleasant experience. All the staff were very friendly and helpful (I’m disabled),, there was plenty of legroom, snacks and drinks were served efficiently and the flight was very smooth and comfortable. Thank you for a great experience.
I have been to Unitas Hospital twice in the last month. Once for 5 days and last week for 1 day. Both times in the Oncology Ward. The staff is caring, happy, and helpful. Thank you. It's great to see nurses and ward hostesses and cleaners that actually care. Plus, the food was good, especially considering I'm on a special diet - well done to the kitchen and the hostesses.
If you're dibled, don't bank with Standard: 1. I need to change my address...I have to go to the branch 2. I need to reset my pin....I have to go to the branch When I tell them I'm disabled, cannot drive, and cannot go to the branch, the consultants just repeat that I have to go to the branch. What?! You have no facility for the disabled????? Obviously not. I will be paying off my credit card and closing my accounts.
Hi, I have been buying frozen meals from ‘Let me cook’ now for several weeks. What a pleasure. The food is absolutely delicious, they adjust for the things I can’t eat and it’s so easy to heat up. Great website making ordering easy. Great produce (except the juices which they are busy working on). Good prices. Swift and friendly delivery . We have used them 3 times already and are very happy with the quality and service. Great shopping experience.
Recently required art tools (watercolour brushes, easel , etc.). Although their online shop is still under development their General Manager (Vaughan) answered my enquiry on their website speedily and effectively. Ryan (Manager of their Rosebank store) contacted me, discussed and quoted several options, took my order via email and EFT, plus arranged delivery to me within a few days (I am disabled and unable to drive). Great service and great prices. Thanks folks, I will be back.
Received excellent service today at Nedbank Centurion Mall Branch (around 10h30). The lady at the reception counter plus the guy who helped me at the ATM were both very friendly, courteous and informed. Business done in a few minutes!! I am very impressed. Kudos, Nedbank
