Policy Holder Since: January 25, 2025 (Previous, positive history: 2015-2018) Insurer: ONEPLAN Pet Insurance (Underwritten by BRYTE Insurance Company Limited) Pets Affected: Romeo (Deceased) and Duke (Currently ill) I am lodging a formal complaint against ONEPLAN Pet Insurance for what appears to be a clear case of misrepresentation and the use of deliberately restrictive policy terms that were not disclosed during the renewal/sign-up process. I trusted ONEPLAN based on my excellent experience with their previous policy (2015-2018), but the current policy (effective 2025) is virtually worthless for senior pets. 1. Failure to Disclose Detrimental Changes (Misrepresentation) When I agreed to the new policy, I re**** on verbal assurances and my prior positive history with ONEPLAN. I was not verbally informed of the massive, detrimental changes under the BRYTE underwriting. These include: Extensive Exclusions: The policy now excludes major conditions common in senior pets, including Heart Failure, Tumours, and Diabetes. Unreasonable 12-Month Waiting Period: I was never told about a non-negotiable 12-month waiting period for these specific serious illnesses. No reasonable person would purchase a senior pet policy with a 12-month wait for conditions like heart failure and tumours. This renders the policy useless for the population it is meant to protect and suggests a purposeful loophole to collect premiums without risk. 2. Claims Rejected Using Loopholes Despite paying my premiums, ONEPLAN/BRYTE has leveraged these undisclosed loopholes to reject critical care for my beloved Chihuahuas: Romeo (Deceased): Claims for his gum disease (gingivitis) and subsequent heart failure were rejected. The company is using policy exclusions/waiting periods to avoid responsibility for claims related to senior pet conditions. Duke (Currently Ill): Duke was recently admitted for a fever. The pre-authorization for his treatment has been rejected, with the company using the possibility of an unconfirmed tumour as a basis to trigger the unfair 12-month waiting period exclusion, even though the confirmed issue is currently an infection/fever. Claim Card Issue: I was also explicitly told the claim card, which was a core reason for choosing ONEPLAN, would not work for hospital cover, undermining a key feature of the service I paid for. 3. Demanded Resolution I demand that ONEPLAN/BRYTE immediately: Re-evaluate and approve Duke's current claim for the fever and infection. Provide a full, written explanation detailing why the 12-month waiting period and extensive exclusions were not disclosed during my verbal sign-up. Given the failure to disclose material changes and the use of an unconscionable contract for senior pets, I demand a full, pro-rata refund of all premiums paid since January 25, 2025, and immediate cancellation of this policy based on misrepresentation. I have collected all written rejections, WhatsApp correspondence, and the current policy documents to submit to the National Financial Ombud Scheme (NFO) and the FAIS Ombud for an official investigation into the sales process and policy fairness.
terrible Service – Misleading Free Installation Offer I am extremely disappointed with Echo Optic Solutions. They initially advertised free installation with their IPS service, which was one of the main reasons I signed up. However, after installation, I started receiving threatening letters, stating that I now have to pay for the installation. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. I trusted Echo Optic Solutions to deliver on their promise, but instead, they’re now trying to charge me additional fees with no prior warning or justification. This is unprofessional and *********. I had a very disappointing experience with Landsdowne property management during my time as a tenant. The property managers were unprofessional, unresponsive, and showed a complete lack of concern for their tenants. On multiple occasions, I reported issues with the property that needed to be fixed, but my requests were ignored or took an extremely long time to be addressed. The property was not well maintained, and it was clear that the management company did not prioritize its upkeep. To make matters worse, the property managers went as far as to lock me out of the Balwin Estate without any explanation or warning. This was a very frustrating and upsetting experience that left me feeling helpless and stranded. Overall, I cannot recommend Landsdowne property management. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and negligence towards property maintenance and tenant needs are unacceptable. I recently had a terrible experience with Briza Vet that left me feeling upset and frustrated. When I brought my small dog in for a procedure (teeth cleaning 1400 max 2200 as agreed on a 20 min phone call prepping me for the procedure with Janine) I did not think that the prices were extremely high but it turns out I had not been warned important information about the costs or the procedure itself. I nearly had a heart attack when she suggested we leave life saving blood tests for my Furr child out and she did not explain to me why she was now stating the cost could be 4400 when I had prepared the amount agreed. I had more heart attacks while she was rude and shouting. I have many bills and I need to calculate everything. Why was I advised without. a consult then? I had actually booked him in very early AM for procedure as agreed. As a vet and business owner I am sure she can appreciate that we all have bills but I cannot compromise on medical care. Not once did she apologise for the f up. She did not offer an alternative day. I did say I can pay in a week-3 after. We had already booked him in, so what is a mother to do? I cannot refuse the necessary tests and to suggest that to me when it is a requirement for older smaller dogs isn't okay. I was horrified when the owner/veterinarian refused a cost breakdown or to help me and would charge me double without any further explanation. I have never encountered a vet with such a demeanour before and I have been to about 5. The whole experience left me feeling uneasy, and I couldn't believe the veterinarian's attitude towards my concerns. I was so upset that I left the clinic almost in tears while being shouted at by her. Overall, I would not recommend Briza Vet to anyone. The lack of transparency and the high prices combined with the veterinarian's unprofessional attitude and behavior made for a terrible experience. I suggest looking for a more compassionate and affordable veterinary clinic that truly cares about your pet's wellbeing and your concerns as an owner.

I recently had a terrible experience with a phone insurance provider that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. Despite paying my premiums on time every month, it took the provider ten months to process my claim and issue a payout. Throughout the entire process, I had to constantly follow up with them and provide additional information, which only added to my stress and frustration. It seemed like they were doing everything possible to delay the payout and avoid taking responsibility for their obligations. To make matters worse, when I finally received the payout, it was much less than what I was expecting, and it barely covered the cost of the phone repairs. I was left out of pocket and feeling like I had been taken advantage of by the insurance provider. Overall, I would not recommend this phone insurance provider to anyone. Their lack of accountability and transparency in the claims process was unacceptable, and it left me feeling unsupported and let down. I would suggest looking for a more reliable and trustworthy insurance provider who values their customers and is committed to fulfilling their obligations.</div>
