So disappointed with the service received from Checkers Wonderpark. i ordered groceries through the sixty60 app and the store delivered cheese that was full of mould and it's so so visible :(
I opened a cheque account with Absa in July, rewards activated and all...a month later I got a call that my rewards were not activated and I was asked if they should reactivate and I said yes. Today again I get a call from Eunice Malope who confirmed that the last caller made a mess and activated rewards on a closed account that has been inactive for over 5 years. I then confirmed to Eunice that she can reactivate my rewards, she then said she couldn't because I couldn't confirm the account numbers because who actually memorizes the account numbers especially inactive ones. I then asked to speak to a manager since the call was over 15 min and we were not getting anywhere...she said they didn't have a manager. How does a big institution like ABSA bank operate without managers? Also why don't have to suffer because of the incompetency that was created by them.
I got a call from a lady called Caroline Thebeeagae regarding short term insurance for a car that I recently bought, she promised that she will get a few quotes for me and that we will after choose that one that's best for me...we did that. However the next day I also decided to compare quotes myself, I got a much cheaper quote elsewhere, I then phoned her that I need her to cancel everything as I got a cheaper quote myself. She said she will cancel the insurance and call me back. Later in the day when I didn't get a call back from her I decided to call the insurance myself only to find out that they didn't even receive a cancellation request. They, on the spot cancelled the insurance for me. Now the biggest issue is that apparently with Constellation Financial Services they charge you R750 for them to be their client...days later I received an sms that they will be deducting the R750, I phoned Caroline told her that I asked her to cancel the insurance and she didn't but I ended up cancelling it myself....I also told her that I received an sms for the R750 deduction and asked her that I already phoned her to cancel which didn't seem to be the case. She then said she will follow up with the relevant department within their organization and call me back...which as usual she didn't call back. 4 days later they deducted the R750 which I made sure it's reversed...now my problem is that I'm getting SMS's to arrange payment of R750...I am not their client and cannot be paying for services that I am not going to enjoy...based in this level of service and experience i feel that I have even made a good decision by not taking cover with them
I completed my details on the Telkom website to apply for a contract phone, a few days later a consultant phoned me and we did the application over the phone. She advised that the application was successful and that the phone will be delivered within 7-14 days. To my surprise I received only the sim card. I then decided to go to the branch and was told that the consultant gave me a sim only contract. I have been trying to call their call centre for some time now, when they are not answering they are offline. I don't understand how a big organization like this can be so incompetent to the point of giving clients contracts that they didn't sign up or agree to.
Bad service and being lied to by Dawn Wing...I bought clothes online from Cotton On on the 25th November, I then got confirmation message on the 28th from Dawn Wing to say that they will be delivering my goods on the 29th November. Today the 29th November I received a message in the morning to say that I will receive my parcel by latest 18h30. Just after 15h00 I then received a message that my parcel couldn't be delivered as I was not home. I immediately called their offices to advise that I never left home for the day and that there was 3 other adults at home, I was assured that my query has been escalated and that I was going to received my parcel by 17h00. It is now 20h08 and I still have not received my parcel.
I went to the PTA North branch on the 28/05/2021 to separate my daughter's account from mine as she had just turned 18, I submitted a copy of her ID and our proof of address. i was then reassured that it was done. The problem started when she wanted to transact both cellphone banking and internet banking were not working. i then phoned FNB customer care and as usual they did security checks including confirmation of my address, i was told that the consultant at the branch was supposed to change the account type as the one that my daughter was using does not allow for both cellphone and internet banking. The consultant then said they account can be changed to an Easy account which we both agreed it can be done, she also said i will get a call back within 24 hours. Today i got a call from Cleopatra, to my surprise when she does security checks she says my address is different on their system...as a result refused to help me. i did not understand why the address was different when i had submitted proof of address at the branch less than a week ago. i then requested to speak to the Team Leader but the consultant put the phone down in my ear.
I loaded my phone on Sunday 22/03/2015 with 100mb data, the data didnt reflect on my phone when i checked the balance. i then phoned vodacom and one consultant told me service might be slow but from her side it shows that data was loaded, i phoned vodacom again after two hours and another consultant told me that Vodacom has been having a technical problem since last year and that i have to call them each time i needed to check how much data i had left. On the 23/03/2015 while i was busy browsing on my phone i got a message that data had been depleted. i phoned vodacom again since data from the previous day was not reflecting still, i asked to speak to a manager and was transfered to John Motene who assisted me. Not only was he calm, patient, efficient and humble but he also ensured that i get my data back. John is a great asset to your company!!! Malebo
