Cartrack has debited my account since 2022 R185pm only to find that no tracking unit was actually installed in 2024 when I bought another car. I have requested for a refund and been sent from pillar to post, calls are dropped when you contact them (Jabulile). The company also confirmed that the unit was only fitted in October 2024 (Tshepang confirmed 28/02/25 at 13:56pm -0861227872). When trying to cancel the cover, I was threatened with cancelation fees for close to R3000, they also want the name of the operator who fitted the tracker in 2022, how can I be expected to have this information. Dont they have a tracking system to see which car was fitted by which operator?
My Mom aged 84 was treated badly by Dial Direct, every month the debit order goes off on the last day of the month. This month without prior arrangements with her money was taken off on the 18th of December. She ended up owing the bank Money as her pension is only paid at the end of the month. I called them yesterday to complain and they promised to call me back immediately but no one has bothered to. Its sad to see old people who use their last money to pay for their premiums to be treated like this. Nothing in her contract says money will be taken at anytime of the month, hence she selected the last day of each month. The least they could have done is send her an email or sms telling her of this Xmas change. This just bad taste!!!
Plan and simple BAD service border-lining on fraud. I booked a flight and paid on their online system only to get a message that payment was declined and that I must do an EFT, after doing the EFT the next day I received a message that payment actually went through my credit card from their online system. I have since been trying to get the EFT returned back to my account with no success, I sent proof of payment twice. I first dealt with Sunil, who ran away then came Ram and today Latha. All telling me to send the same information and that someone is investigating. When you phone them there is over 1 hour waiting period, the online complaint system does not work, if you contact them via WhatsApp Or Instagram you get a robot with very limited functions. This is not a legit and ethical travel agency, they are quick to take your money and give you the run around when they have to return it.
Beware of Computer Zone in Somerset West Mall Shop Number 325, Somerset West. They claim to repair computers but in reality, they don’t have what it takes. My husband and I were taken for a ride. Monday the 14th of February 2022, we contacted the shop about our PC that could not be turned on due to a motherboard issue. The owner told us to bring a computer to the shop for repairs, he gave us two separate prices for either software or hardware repair. The next day he contacted us to tell us that the computer mother board is faulty and that we owe him R380. This was exactly why we took the computer to him in the first place. He told us that could not fix the computer and that we should contact Acer. We don’t know why he charged us for doing nothing. All he did was to type the problem on a piece of paper and charge us R380, now he refuses to pay our money back. Do NOT use this charlatan shop for anything, he argues with customers, takes money and makes a run for it. If you claim to repair computers you need to know what is wrong and how to fix it, otherwise don’t make false claims and take money from innocent customers.
I ordered flowers for an 80th birthday for the 25th of August which they never arrived, there was no communication on the delay or reasons for not delivering them until the 27th when I started making follow ups, they promised to refund me within 3 days ( Ntombi) , its now September, no refund and no communication on when they will pay. They dont respond to emails. Please DONT use this company, it will not only let your loved ones down but will also leave you pocket dry and empty. Its basically a scam, you pay for goods they never get delivered and they pocket the money!!!!
Absa BA credit card is scam and does not provide the benefits as advertised. They promise lounge access with over 200k spend which is one big lie, no one get back you when you complain about poor service.
Absa appointed FOGI to replace my Geyzer in March, in the process FOGI damaged the ceiling and no one wants to take responsibility to fixing the ceiling. It is now going to another month as this incident happened in March with no communication from either ABSA or FOGI.
Telkom landline billing system is a fraud, I have been paying my landline charges monthly only to realise that months were I paid in advance the money was not subtracted from the bill but was included as part of the monthly charges. This has been going on since January 2020 and no one is willing to help. In Dec my account was R812,84, I paid R900 and they have now cut my line off.
ABSA does not care about protecting your money. This is my second formal complaint and nothing has been done, the problems is escalating out of control and ABSA is mum and conducting their business as usual. As a so called premium banker I am getting a raw deal from this red bank. Since the beginning of 2017 I have reversed over 15 Naedo unauthorized debit orders company companies that i know nothing about and based on their names fraudulent. I still need to reverse more debit orders from October, every month i go through this process with a lot of pain. I have reported this issue to the ABSA Manager in Pinelands with no help, the call center can't help either and money keeps pouring out of my account. before you give my money out why not check with me? This is a straight forward issue, I am moving my entire portfolio to a Bank that cares about my hard earned money. This is enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!! shame on you ABSA for lacking system and professionalism to address this issue with me directly.
