The assessor working on my claim is a very unprofessional person, at one stage she advised that my dread claim was approved then came back saying that it is back under review. According to my claims policy, I was supposed to be paid out 50% on my dread cover. All my medical reports have been submitted, and now stories are coming about that other readings are required. I have sent through an email on Feb 21, 2025, 12:42 PM regarding the above and to date haven't received any response.
I have never dealt with such *********** ****** people at the Sandton office. They don't even know how to read a PDP document how can they be working in a place like this? I want the CEO of this company to call me as I have a very long list of complaints and I will be taking this further legally, and publicly as well.

I have never felt so violated as a person. Does Miway do life cover insurance or motor vehicle insurance, because they have been investigating me more than the accident in question. What's the use of cheap comprehensive insurance when their service is as cheap as the premiums that they give. The assessor Wayne Araujo is such an unprofessional, unethical person. Speaks to minors when he gets to ask about a person. Does not get consent to investigate about the 3rd party (POPI act violation). Drives past the accident scene and not investigate the hit and run accident in question, did not attempt in getting CCTV footage of the N2 where the accident occurred, said it wasn't his job to do so but in his letter of consent it states he was supposed to get the information. Premiums paid on time but can not settle a claim. Speaks to guards that work rotational at my workplace.
Their reputation of employing people is really disgusting and very demotivating. My son was offered a job and then turned down due to the unfair practice and favoritism happening in the Durban branch. The lack of professionalism is also a big concern. They really know how to make a person feel low.
What a useless company to purchase a bed from there is no after sale service the customer service lady Vani is totally rude and arrogant. Even Dane who is a so called manager can not handle a complaint himself. I don't suggest people go buyt from them. What a bunch of clowns staring from sales person to manager to customer service.
I reported my case number ********** 4 on hello peter on the 13/11 received correspondence from Bronwyn on the 15/11 and since then no response. See below the response that i received from Bronwyn who is part of the SOCIAL MEDIA TEAM, looks like all the departments at Telkom are clueless. No one even bother to follow up with a telephone call such bad customer service.
