Stay away from this courier company. They have an attitude and think they are doing you an enormous favour to provide a non-existing service. Guy at customer service told my I mustn't panic after a promise that was made wasn't kept. No respect for your time!!! Time is precious.
They are just another insurance company. Very quick to respond when asking for a qouate but that's all. I requested stickers for my vehicles and was promised that it would be courier or send to PostNet. I am still waiting after a month and a half and several phone calls from my side.
Waiting for MONTHS now for a membershipcard. They can't manage to change a address on there system. Keep on promising to "post" card to non-excisting address. Not even prepaired to courier card plus a lot of stupid excuses for everything. Something seriour happened to Discoveries overall service - asume they've got to much members. So sad. High trees can also fall!!!
Stay away from Dischem Online. They are highly *********** and couldn't be bothered about service. I was expecting delivery already only to get an e-mail notifying me that they can't fulfill my order. My money was put as a credit on my account. Got the impression they expect me to spend amount at Dischem on something else. Requested for money to be paid in my bank account - still waiting!!!
I dealt with Jennifer Nkosi today and what a pleasure!!! If all consultants had this attitude - the world would be a much better and happier place!! Keep up your good service. Thanks a lot.
I tracked my parcel online and it showed that parcel is going to be delivered on 13 August. No parcel has been delivered. I phoned on Monday - lady said it is going to be delivered on Monday. She is going to make a note that driver must phone me before delivery. Haven't heard anything from them. Phoned again today only to be told that the driver couldn't get hold of me. Big fat lie - no miss call on my phone and no one was at my address. Still waiting. Wonder if I am ever going to get my parcel. Company that is full of promises and no service!!!
What a pathetic company to deal with!!!!Stay away as far as possible!!! I was holding for 2 hours to be assisted - I was nr 1 and they chucked the phone. I suppose it is because it was 10pm. I was originally caller nr 23!!!
WAITING FOR DAYS NOW FOR PARCEL. TRACKING FACILITY NOT USER FRIENDLY AND INFO NOT RELIABLE. ITEM BEING SENDING BACK AND FORTH ALTHOUGH I RECEIVED A SMS DAYS AGO ALREADY THAT IT IS GOING TO BE DELIVERED THAT DAY. STILL WAITING. OVERUSED EXCUSE IS COVID. DON'T UNDERSTAND WHERE THAT FITS IN? TRAVELLING BETWEEN AREAS IN GAUTENG IS ALLOWED. JUST A LAME EXCUSE FOR BEING INCOMPETEND. WORSE AND UNPROFESSIONAL COURIER EVER!!! DON'T USE THEM!!!
I wish I had read the reviews before I decided on them. Promised for days that the router is going to be delivered. The couriers that they use are super pathetic - they use the excuse that it is out of there hands. What about using a reliable courier???
I phoned Takealot returns department on the 8th December and spoke to Kauthar Karriem. What a unpleasant experience! Somebody that is in a job but isn't the least interested in listening to the customer of give them a reasonable chance to explain there situation. She kept on interrupting me and was very rude and unhelpful. I lodge a return the previous night online for a mattress protector that I bought but realized it is the incorrect size. They don't give you the option to say incorrect size - I choose the option off defected or damaged. Where they ask which action needs to be taken - I made a note by requesting that they replaced it with another size and said the product is not damaged. I received an e-mail that the one product will be collected and being replaced with the other. I realized that it is going to be replace with the exact same product. I phoned and spoke with Kauthar Karriem at the returns department. When she answered the phone I asked her if I can give her the RRN-nr she said yes. I gave it to her and tried to explain to her my case. She didn't listen at all because directly after that she asked me how can se help. Every time when I start to talk she interrupt me. Eventually I asked her if she is going to listen and give me the opportunity to talk. Then she said the RRN nr is incorrect she wants the order nr of the original order. I wasn't able to provide her with that because I was phoning from my cell-phone and only wrote the RRN nr down as well as the new order nr for the replacement. It always worked like that. Then all of a sudden she wants to update my profile so that I don't battle in future if I phone in to get my information. People don't understand when you are holding for how long that you aren't in the mood to being kept busy with all unnecessary questions. I pay for my calls. Then she had a huge problem with my e-mail address and was arguing about the one that I was giving to her. She had a complete different one which doesn't belong to me. I said to her well I am giving you the one that I am always using. Who would know better what is my e-mail address?? After a long back and forth issue of information regarding an e-mail address my problem was still not being addressed to. She said to me very sarcastically where to look for the order number. That wasn't my problem. She said she will cancel the replacement but nothing was done regarding the other order because she wasn't prepared to listen. She kept on saying to me it was my mistake. I said to her I said that to you right from the beginning that it was mistake because the product is not damaged. The following day the driver delivered the exact duplicate of the product of what I returned. I phoned the same day again and asked for an e-mail address where I can lodge a complaint but not one where it is going to land in the trash bin. Person said they don't know and gave me another phone number. It turned out that it was the same department. Phoned again and person who answered the phone promised to get a senior or manager to phone me back. I am still waiting. In the meanwhile I am still sitting with the same product. I would like them to collect the item that I have with me and refund me. In this economic times that we live in I can't believe that people have that attitude with customers. I am a client of Takealot when they were still Kalahari.com Takealot and any other company for that matter must employ people that are prepared to listen, being respectful and polite if they work at customer care. I even received an e-mail afterward asking me how I would rate her service where I replied it was bad but nobody bothered to attend to the matter either.
