Poor service been waiting for weeks for my delivery it keeps on saying out of delivery since 18 December today is the 3rd January.
My vehicle was booked at Renewit Rivonia on the 20th of October 2024 to have the passenger door and mirror repaired. I was informed by the assessor that it should not take longer than 7 days to repiar. The vehicle has been there for 30 day and I am still unable to get an answer as when I can recieve my vehicle back. I have called on numerous ocassions and have even been told that my car is waiting for parts, parts that should not even be claimed for like the petrol cap and that took three days to clarify with them. Hiw do you get the ordering if parts wrong and why does it take three days to identify and correct, I have left messages for Management to call me back but unfortunately they never do call back or they are never avialable. I do, however, pitty the receptionist as she has to take the fallout for the lack of responsiveness from the so-called managers. The level of service and lack of communication is appualing.
On the 8th of March 2024, we had submitted a building claim for water leak and loss of water. Discovery elected to send Drain Surgeon to our premises to do a leak detection. Drain surgeon elected to do a gas leak detection and suspected the the leak was coming from our wash basin located on a butchers block in the middle of our kitchen. according to Drain Surgeon, in order to fix the leak, they would have to remove our kitchen cupboard, remove floor tile and dig a whole in our kitchen floor in order to expose the leaking pipes, Discovery got a kitchen company out to remove the cupboard(some of which could not be removed and was broken out) and Drain Surgeon dug the whole in our kitchen floor exposing the pipes. to their disbelief, the pipes where their gas detection indicated was not leaking. Unfortunately, Drain Surgeon then decided to walk away from this job and requested Discovery to appoint a different Plumber for this job. The new plumber come out and spent some time going through everything and discovered that one of our geysers had burst, another geyser had a faulty valve and the main inlet valve to out cottage was leaking. Discovery authorised the replacement of all that was found and the leaking has stopped, this took almost a month to resolve, in the mean time we have been loosing water. Firstly I am shocked that Discovery would use a company like Drain Surgeon and still pay them for causing unnecessary damage to my property. Secondly, I am now finding it extremely challenging to get that which Drain Surgeon had destroyed, fixed, the whole has been covered, but no tiling has been done so the kitchen cupboards cannot be replaced and restored to what they where. I am have to constantly try and get someone to do something to put me back in the same situation than what i was before, and it is hugely frustrating. Claim no 3477257
We put a claim in with Discovery for a leak at our house and Discovery Elected to use Drain Surgeon to perform a leak detection and then provide a quote for the repairs. Drain Surgeon performed a gas leak detection and according to their experts discovered a leak in my Kitchen in the centre butcher block. According to Drain Surgeon, in order to fix the issue they informed Discovery that the built in cupboard of the butchers block would have to be removed so that they could dig up the kitchen floor in order to expose the leaking pipes. With the kitchen cupboards and Marcus been removed, Drain Surgeon, with the help of a jack hammer began to dig up the kitchen floor to expose the leaking pipes. Once they had dug a big enough whole that exposed the pipes, it was found that the pipes where not leaking and there was no leak where they siad it would be. Dump founded, they had no clue what to do so the did another gas leak detection on the expose area and the gas detection gave a negitive reading on the area they just dug up. With this they then decided that there was nothing else they could do and requested Discovery to appoint another plumber to find and fix the leak and left without repairing that which they unnecessary damaged. A second plumber had been appointed and the real issue was discovered that our guyser was actually were the leak was happening. I have formally put in a complaint with Discovery insure as to how they can have service provider like Drain Surgeon on their list and call them Prefered, all they did was cause unnecessary damage to my house and the sad part is they got paid to do so, great business model. Please stay away from these people don't fall into this trap with them.
We purchased 2 wingback chairs, delivering of the chairs took weeks after constant promises being made, the delivery date changed 3 times before we got our chairs. After recieving the chairs we noticed that the chairs had different Thickness in the legs and stiching in the material at the back of one of the chairs that was not done properly leaving a whole. We have contacted Damian and Eugene and informed them of the faults found. They committed in ensuring that the chairs would be collected and repaired. We report this on the 5th December and am still waiting for someone to collect the chairs. Everyday when we enquire as to when they will collect the chairs, we get told they will collect the next day, which never happens. The level of service recieved and the quality of the product does not justify the amount of money spent
Nightgaurd canceled my contract but still debited my account for 2 months, when I asked why the contract was canceled, no one could answer. No management is avialable to discuss with and they never respond to any emails. I had a telephone call from someone is the financial department informing me that the contract was scheduled for cancelation on the 20th December but could not tell me who requested the cancelation, but according to the Nightgaurd control room it was canceled at the end of October. When asking for a refund the request is totally ignored, now they want me to fill out a cancelation form explaining the reason for the canelation. I am short 2 months premiums for services I did not recieve
I pay a premium to Afrhost for 1000mb down and 200mb up, at best I get 300mb down and 200mb up, I have reported this to Afrihost on numerous occasions, I have done all the tests that was requested and according to Afrihost they have escalated and logged a ISP call. It has been 3 weeks now and i can't get any feedback from Afrihost, none of the mails that i have sent requesting feedback have been responded too, when trying to contact the Fibre support Managers, they are never avialable and never return your calls. I have had to resort to sending the Afrihost CEO an email and hopefully he will respond
I have submitted an application to finance the purchase of a AC Cobra built up vehicle as per the Wesbank application form made available. This was done on the 22 May 2014. I received an Approved subject to verification of information letter the same day. I have sent through all the documentation through that was requested of me on the 25th after speaking to one of the consultants and was informed that I would be contacted within 6 working hours. No one contacted me within that time. On the 26th May I once again phoned in to find out what was happening with the application. The consultant said that the verification had not been done as of yet and that he would escalate it to the team lead. Someone would contact within 6 working hours. Yet again no one has contacted me and I have had to call in. After speaking to the consultant I have been informed that the verification has not been done due to the fact that Wesbank does not finance these types of built up vehicles. This is absolutely contradictory to what your application forms allow for and the approval that has been sent to me. The approval was based on my selection of a built up vehicle being the AC Cobra.
