For the last almost 2 years, I have had appalling service from Averda. I request the bin to be emptied, and after ZERO feedback on delays, multiples calls from myself, it still takes about 6 weeks before we get service. With COVID affecting many businesses, I always gave them the benefit of the doubt, even with the constant level of frustration. However, it is now 2022, and it again took 5 weeks for them to service our bin. I was furious and decided they had had enough opportunities to improve their level of service, both the waste removal and customer liaising. I sent through a termination of services letter. I ensured I got written and verbal confirmation that they had received and actioned the termination the same day it was sent. Their maximum 30 day cancellation period was coming up, and I followed up once a week with a call to assess the progress of the cancellation. All the person could tell me was that it was underway. Monday 28th February was D-day. The cancellation period had lapsed and they had been told to uplift their bin by then, as our yard does not have space for theirs and the NEW bin from a different contractor. I have called every day this week. I have called twice today (friday) alone. I have emailed twice this week. NOT A SINGLE PERSON has returned my call or responded to my emails. There service is horrendous, and I do not recommend using their services ever.
I would rate their service as zero, but a one star is the lowest rating HelloPeter will allow. I, personally have never had a positive experience with this bank. Starting 17 years ago with my fisrt experience, wanting to open a personal account till today, this bank is the most useless bank EVER. I am proud to say I have never had an account with ABSA! However, the business I work for has their business account with them and let me tell you, that trying to get anything done with them is worse than pulling teeth in the boons with no anesthesia and nothing but a shifting spanner. Every dealing I have with them ends with more unanswered questions and them admitting that they cannot assist or they have no idea why the function is not working. Meanwhile, they still charge you for everything even when it doesnt work. Latest thing is a business debit card which we collected, and the next day declined both attempts to be used, and they cannot assist on why this is happening, but we still paying for this bull**** card as if it is working. Emails and calls get us no where. I am so over this bank, and I hope they tank

This is not how you make up for your rude telesales agent that called last week! I was patient and nice to the agent that called the following day and even went through to the sales agent and let them give me a comparative quote. But as I suspected, you cannot do better than my current insurance. I was polite and thanked you for calling and asked to be removed from your calling list. But now an agent has called me EVERY DAY since...*** is wrong with you people!? I can guarantee that there is now zero chance that I will ever contact you in the future for a comparative quote or recommend you to anyone. You have become more irritating than a nat flying around my head whilst trying to sleep. REMOVE ME FROM YOUR CALLING SHEETS
Thanks for Calling to see if I had time to talk Gracie. I am always polite with those cold calling, as everyone needs to make a living. However, when I tried to explain that I had already had a comparative at the beginning of the year, you just hung up on me. Great manners on your part!
Your company is PATHETIC Our company is located and only works in the Western Cape. In the last month I have received 2 FINES for E-toll. The first is for a massive truck with a GP number plate, never have we owned a truck or GP plate. Yet a month later, after 2 calls and numerous emails from you, still not resolved. Then today I get one for a vehicle we SOLD before the fines occurred and invoiced 2 months after the fine itself. YET, you cant do the research and you invoice us for the fines, even though the yellow form was handed in within a week of the sale!? So I call you now to inform you to resolve this with the current owner...and your answer is I must get the Director to complete a form IN FRONT OF A COMMISSIONER of OATHES!!! What the F@*$ !?? This is NOT my problem, I did my due diligence at the time and handed in all the documents to remove from our name at the time 3 months ago. You figure it out, I'm NOT doing your job for you
I buy from takealot multiple times a week; for work, for family, and most especially myself. I love the variety of the products, the ease of the transactions and value for money. The other day I returned an item, after realizing I ordered the wrong duplicate book. I always choose to drop off as I live near by the warehouse and am generally collecting something weekly anyways. So , I processed my return as I would any other time, but this time the credit reflected immediately?...I panicked, I thought there may be something wrong with their system, as I hadn't returned the item yet. But then I got an email and saw that I am a "trusted" customer, so they credited my profile immediately. How cool is that, a retail company actually trusting their clients. I love it. Thanks Takealot

What an amazing bank! No monthly charges, no cash withdrawal fees, and you get a total of 11 accounts on your profile. I am actually so super impressed. I found myself spending money i couldn't afford to have a Standard Bank account. After almost 20 years of being a loyal customer to Standard bank I had no choice but to change to Tyme Bank. I closed both my accounts with them and opened a Tyme account within 5 minutes at my local Pick n Pay. Since then, I have had my husband and brother open a Tyme account. It is great for saving for different goals. I use it to save for my vehicle services and dog vaccinations. This way I don't have a big expense I cant afford and have an entire year to save...WHICH INCLUDES GREAT INTEREST. Its just overall an amazing bank. I do agree that the customer service isn't always great, but working the app is super simple and i am yet to not figure anything out. I have bought airtime and electricity. Paid accounts, once off beneficiaries and so much more. My money is super easy to see and manage on the app and I couldn't be happier. I think all South Africans should have an account, especially those with lower income, it makes managing your money such as for saving for kids school fees and so on so much easier.
