This company is a **** please don't fall for it. They send a job offer requesting R150 for police clearance and ITC. Their emails are gmail BIG RED FLAG, the company is slightly similar to a Kobus Logistics operating in India as per Google that's how they are hiding..their address is 129 Rivonia Sandton which is Momentum Metropolitan building. Please please be careful
African Bank has threatened to come to my workplace because I am in arrears, something about me signing a document but I know it's just a way to embarrass me. Please advise if this is legal??
I've been to this particular Clicks numerous times before and have always received good service. On Thursday however I was very disappointed. I came in for a self prescription and as always, I take my number and stand behind the queue next to the aisle. Close enough to see what's going on at the counter and to hear when my number is called. I stood at the same spot and a few of the staff at the counters glanced over at me including the guy that assisted me: K**** P********** A lady who had been waiting for a long time decided to leave and she was number S203. I was S204. KP called S203 over four times and when he realized the customer has probably left, he then called my number. I immediately bolted from where I had been standing to the counter. When I got there and greeted and started telling him what I needed, he cut me off and said he had been calling my number for more than 3 times, if I'm going to take a ticket and disappear, I need to enter my cell number so I can get an sms. I explained to him that my number is S204 and he called S203 numerous times and I saw a lady leave and I guess she was S203. I could see by his reaction that he realized his mistake but instead of apologizing he continued with his foul attitude. I was there to take medicine for my child but am not the main member..I had taken medication there before with no issue, he wanted to know what proof I have that I'm the mother of the child. I told him I didn't know I needed proof and had never been asked for the proof before. He asked for my child's surname and date of birth. I told him the day and month and because I was already annoyed by him(and the fact that i have 2 other kids) I needed a minute to think about the year. My mind was clouded at this point and I had to calculate 2023-4 years...as I was doing this he sarcastically says " and you are supposed to be the mother of this child yet you don't know the child's date of birth" I was furious and could've punched him in the face! This guy had put me off of this particular Clicks and it's rather sad because I have always interacted with great staff there. One bad apple really does spoil the whole box!
I wanted to enquire about my statement and why I am still owing such a high amount but have been consistently paying for 2 years. The lady who assisted me E*a M*le*e was very rude like she didn't even want to be there. She was more interested in watching YouTube videos than answering my questions.. very annoying
I tried to apply for a debt consolidation loan with Just Money and I received a call from Debt Busters who offered me debt review which I immediately declined. When I finished the call I got an email with a welcome pack from debt Busters I immediately responded to the email and repeated that I was not interested I'm debt review. I tries to then apply for credit and the response was that I am under debt review. Please sort this mess out!
RE: Roots Grill Kempton Park CBD (NOT Festival Mall) On Friday the 27th May 2022 I was working from home and decided to sneak away to grab a "quick" bite to eat. I arrived at Roots Grill Kempton Park CBD and ordered a full chicken, pap, salad and coke (R120) as well as a quarter leg, pap and coke. The time on the till slip they gave me with my order number (133) was 11.30am. I sat down and waited and waited my number was never called. People who came after me were receiving their orders and leaving while I was still waiting and waiting. The people working there clearly have their favourites who are probably regulars (taxi drivers, construction site workers) because those people’s orders were prioritized while I was made to wait. They did not even acknowledge me, all they do is stand behind the counter and talk loudly and there was an accident right outside the restaurant and to my surprise they all rushed out, leaving customers waiting, to go and witness the accident! They then all came back and very loudly, detailed the gruesome accident about how the bone was broken and I thought well, there goes my dining experience….At 12.00pm (this is still during my working from home hours so I was getting very agitated) I decided to go up to the counter and ask the lady about my order. She took the slip and asked the braaimaster about the full chicken, she then told me to wait for the full chicken. So again I sat and nothing happened. Then a different lady was behind the counter at 12.15pm I again decided to get up and ask about my order. She too asked the braaimaster about the full chicken which is when he responded with: there is no full chicken she will wait 45 minutes. I then told the lady to look at the time on the till slip, I have been waiting for 45 minutes already to which she very rudely said: Go to the till and get a refund! I was horrified. If there is no full chicken, why did they not tell me that from the beginning? I would have definitely gone somewhere else, the staff there is very unprofessional and unnecessarily rude, they have no clue what customer service is. It was my first and definitely the last time I step into ANY Roots Grill!
I am very disappointed at Capitec bank, I have been a loyal customer since 2009. I have recently been cleared from debt review and applied for a personal loan from Capitec. Capitec tells me I have to wait 3 months. I applied at African Bank and African Bank offered me a loan. Why should I keep banking with Capitec? I really have no reason at this point if they cannot be loyal to their loyal clients.

I have been reading negative reviews about Nedbank simply refusing to acknowledge the Prescription Act. I last paid this account in 2017 and have been unemployed since. I sent a query to Nedbank and they send me a summons they failed to deliver to me, the summons itself is dated November 2020, not October, therefore prescription should still apply if you do the math. I am heading straight to the ombudsman because clearly Nedbank refuses to abide by the credit laws of this country.
