Rotten Grilled chicken sold at Roots grill attredgville
Rotten Grilled Chicken from Roots Grill Atteridgeville I bought a grilled chicken from Roots Butchery today and when I opened it, I discovered it was rotten and not fit for consumption. This is unacceptable, especially for a food product that should be safe and fresh. Selling spoiled food is a serious health risk and shows poor quality control. I am very disappointed with this experience and urge Roots Butchery to improve their standards and ensure customers are not sold unsafe food.

Rotten Grilled Chicken from Roots Grill Atteridgeville I bought a grilled chicken from Roots Butchery today and when I opened it, I discovered it was rotten and not fit for consumption. Bad experience
I was buying at roots grill today they served everyone and left me out mind you I came first then when it was time to serve me they told me that the don't have enough food this is not the first time am getting this bad service from Cosmo city grill

Bad experience

Roots Grill in Kempton Park CBD - Go there if you are willing to wait over an hour for food and deal with rude staff!
RE: Roots Grill Kempton Park CBD (NOT Festival Mall) On Friday the 27th May 2022 I was working from home and decided to sneak away to grab a "quick" bite to eat. I arrived at Roots Grill Kempton Park CBD and ordered a full chicken, pap, salad and coke (R120) as well as a quarter leg, pap and coke. The time on the till slip they gave me with my order number (133) was 11.30am. I sat down and waited and waited my number was never called. People who came after me were receiving their orders and leaving while I was still waiting and waiting. The people working there clearly have their favourites who are probably regulars (taxi drivers, construction site workers) because those people’s orders were prioritized while I was made to wait. They did not even acknowledge me, all they do is stand behind the counter and talk loudly and there was an accident right outside the restaurant and to my surprise they all rushed out, leaving customers waiting, to go and witness the accident! They then all came back and very loudly, detailed the gruesome accident about how the bone was broken and I thought well, there goes my dining experience….At 12.00pm (this is still during my working from home hours so I was getting very agitated) I decided to go up to the counter and ask the lady about my order. She took the slip and asked the braaimaster about the full chicken, she then told me to wait for the full chicken. So again I sat and nothing happened. Then a different lady was behind the counter at 12.15pm I again decided to get up and ask about my order. She too asked the braaimaster about the full chicken which is when he responded with: there is no full chicken she will wait 45 minutes. I then told the lady to look at the time on the till slip, I have been waiting for 45 minutes already to which she very rudely said: Go to the till and get a refund! I was horrified. If there is no full chicken, why did they not tell me that from the beginning? I would have definitely gone somewhere else, the staff there is very unprofessional and unnecessarily rude, they have no clue what customer service is. It was my first and definitely the last time I step into ANY Roots Grill!

Roots grill has the worst customer service
I am extremely disappointed in roots grill thabong shopping centre sebokeng customer service. I bought pap and chicken liver whilst eating I saw a green fly in my food immediately and took the food and show them to the person whom I thought was in charge on the day. All he did was give me the value of what was left in the plate he didn't apologize yet he saw the fly in my food.

Roots grill has the worst customer service

Bad Service
We placed an order at Roots and Grill the one in Mall of Tembisa and after placing an order we took a seat while waiting for the order then we decided to eat some snacks that we bought from Shoprite so the security officer approached us saying we cannot eat on their table because the foods is not from their restaurant while waiting for the order, this is not the nicest way to treat a customer.

Bad Service
We placed an order at Roots and Grill the one in Mall of Tembisa and after placing an order we took a seat while waiting for the order then we decided to eat some snacks that we bought from Shoprite so the security officer approached us saying we cannot eat on their table because the foods is not from their restaurant while waiting for the order, this is not the nicest way to treat a customer.

Horrible horrible customer service
Bad customer service, waited for about 2 hours. light skinned lady who was giving out orders on Saturday 31st July 2021, around 13:45, very bad in communication, she ended up saying she will ask the griilers to give me raw meat

Rotten food and missing chicken pieces
I bought a full chicken from Roots Grill by Jewel City in Maboneng. They cut the meat without consent, and when I got home, there were missing pieces in it and the meat was rotten, it did not smell fresh at all. I alerted Sbu, the manager of the store at that time and he did nothing about this. I get that we serve mainly a black audience these ends, but I am sure that we can do better to improve the type of service and quality we offer to each other.

They cut the meat without consent, and when I got home, there were missing pieces in it and the meat was rotten, it did not smell fresh at all.
