TEMU is being ****med or is playing into hands of ****mers
I regularly receive ****s to pay additional fees for an order = ****mers taking a chance that I will reveal all my payment details. This time for a real delivery where TEMU states:"Your Shipment is arriving in the country and will require customs clearance. There is import duty/tax due on your shipment. The amount is ZAR 43.20 including services fees" How come TEMU did not charge for clearance up front? TEMU ... is this just another ****?? How come you are so unprofessional. Deliver my item first and I will pay the delivery person the R43.20 if you are genuine.

DSTV insurance is a disaster
Both my decoders are insured by DSTV. On 17 February 2025 their walk in centre confirmed both devices damaged by power surge. They did not have replacement stock and sent a mail to DSTV insurance to process the claim. After 5 follow up calls and 2.5 weeks later, still no replacement with a different story at each call. Their reference number 118892311. Shocking service

The roudy Laparadas Bar is destroying what was a village mall
Sent to Irene Village Mall Management: Living in Cornwall Hill, The Irene Village Mall is where we enjoy taking our visitors and family to experience what your web site so accurately describes: " tranquil water features, beautiful gardens and hundreds of trees … within a village square atmosphere, or, if you like, that of a ‘high street’ shopping spree … In the family-friendly piazza, where eating al fresco day or night is at the heart, kids can play in the fountain under the watchful eye of their relaxing parents." With a shock, all that changed last night when we took our overseas family to Rocomamas – only to be blasted by Laparadas – so loud and so objectionable that we could hardly hear each other at the outside tables on what was supposed to be a lovely family evening out. Laparadas is successfully ruining the village and family atmosphere of the mall and will succeed chasing families away. THERE WAS NO WAY ONE COULD BRING A YOUNG FAMILY TO ANY RESTAURANT AT THE MALL LAST NIGHT … AND NO SURPRISE, IT WAS RELATIVELY EMPTY FOR SUCH A BALMY NIGHT OVER A LONG WEEK-END. We were informed that all the surrounding restaurants are suffering, losing customers, and have petitioned the mall management but to no avail. If you allow Laparadas to continue with their blasting ghetto music, attracting the wrong customers - many of whom were rowdy and badly intoxicated, dominating the whole square and all the restaurants, the mall’s restaurants will be avoided over week-ends and eventually shrivel. Opening a rowdy bar with intoxicated and rowdy customers in the middle of what was a tranquil family orientated square, is an unwise decision. As regulars, we will not be back to any of the mall’s restaurants again until the Laparadas blasting is stopped, or even better still, if they are kicked out.

Mafadi Property Management: Slothful service
You simply cant get anything out of Mafadi. I waited two months for a pin to pay my account. Now selling the property, all we wanted was a clearance amount for estate levies. Weeks have gone by, follow up after follow up and no joy. Then I got hold of Tracey Lombaard who made promises not fulfilled. We have paid up to end of July 2024 and all we want is a clearance certificate which we cannot get out of them. SLOTH of the first degree. I am advising our body corporate to give them the boot.

Empty promises from Browns The Diamond Store
We bought two rings in December 2023 at Browns Menlyn. One of the rings was wrong sized and could not be adjusted. A Marizaan at Browns promised the refund and sent me multiple forms to complete. By end of January 2024 and no response, still no refund. In February 2024 at the same store, a Lelanie Marx took over and promised to sort it out. it is now more than a month later and still nothing and no communication. The sloth at Browns is not what I expected from a premium jeweller. Puts me off buying there again.

Life Groenkloof Hospital Admin's incompetence and sloth
Despite being on comprehensive medical aid, Life Groenkloof Hospital set their debt agency Anthony Richards Associates (ARA) on me with threats for the last 4 months. The more I explained that medical aid authorised the procedure, the less they listened and the threats got worse. Even when medical pronounced the matter had been sorted, the threats and demands got worse. An agent from ARA even put the phone down on me when I tried to explain that I dont owe anything. Medical has again sent a mail and reference to confirm that all is sorted. LGH's administrative incompetence is shocking. I warned that messing with my credit worthiness and reputation would be a very expensive exercise for them. BTW: No explanation and no apology for their harrrassment .

Poolsense is unreliable and after sales service even worse
I bought a Poolsense (on-line pool water monitoring) device about 4 years ago and since then have had it replaced three times for being faulty and several times having to be re-set the manufacturer. All in all, a wonderful product technically but continuously unreliable and even more lethargic customer service. Not worth the money for the unreliable service. More reliable using the water analysis pool strips or a water measuring pool kit

Harper Sandals walk away from their customers
Shoes advertised are local. We ordered 7 January 2024 and have now discovered shoes are coming from China and not delivered yet. Harper Sandals do not answer their query line despite several attempts. Do no order from Harper Sandals. They cannot be trusted nor re**** on

Avoid Centurion Mall. Parking pay stations are a disaster.
Centurion Mall is wonderful but the parking pay management is a disaster. Only one pay station works - over Christmas nogal - with a long queue and when you get to the pay station, it only takes cash because the pay by card never works. Today was the limit. it took us more than 40 minutes to get out. And the parking support staff on the call for assistance were unhelpful to make it worse. We will avoid Centurion Mall and rather go to Irene Mall where parking if free and no hassle to get in and out.

Openserve serve with a passion.
On Wednesday 6 December 2023 our internet went down. It turned out to be a complex problem which required a team from Openserve to work non-stop (except Sunday) to solve the problem and lay a new cable on 11 December 2023, working into the night in the rain. What commitment and service the from Openserve team, thanks to Amos T who never gave up.
