Great first time experience. I placed my order yesterday (Tuesday) morning and was advised that I’d get it on Thursday or Friday, which was understandable as I live in an outlying area. I was blown away when it arrive today. Happy with the products and service. Friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Can definitely recommend!
I would like to change my previous 5 star review to reflect my recent experience but I am not able to edit it so I have to create a new one. After receiving brilliant customer service from Tebelelo assisting me in transferring ownership of an internet account into my mom's name, they have continued to bill me, even after cancellation, and after also debitting my mom who is the new owner of the account. When I queried this unauthorised debit I was given some BS that the accounts are debitted 2 months in arrears which I thought was strange as my mom also got debitted for her first month at the same time. I asked for this to be escalated and for the past 2 months I have been waiting very patiently for someone from the billing team to call me and explain what is going on. To date, despite numerous requests to Tebelelo to get these people to call me, they have not. I have also asked for her team leader to call me,and they have not. I requested the team leader's contact details numerous times, as I wanted to expedite the process and reach out to them, as it was clearly a waste of time waiting for them to get hold of me. All my requests for the manager's information are now being ignored, and I just got an SMS notification that another debit order has been submitted. This has to be the worst customer service I have ever received. They are clearly *****ing my money and have not cancelled my debit order which they should have upon my cancellation of the service. They now have me and my mom paying for the same account. If I could give zero stars I would.
I want to thank Tebelelo M for her amazing efforts in assisting me in a change of ownership, getting my account into another person's name and having them take over the payments. She made what I was original advised would be difficult, absolutely easy. She took good care of me, did everything she said she would in the time-frame that she said she would, followed up to tell me what was happening, and again once everything was complete. Really grateful for the fantastic service from her. Thank you, Telebelo :)
It's not the best medical aid. It's not actually medical aid. But I was in hospital for kidney stones. They paid almost all of what it would have cost me and I am so grateful. And today I got a little bonus email from Sasha-Leigh in the Hospital Claims department, telling me I was going to get a little something back from some money I had paid in. More gratitude. Thanks for brightening my day, Sasha-Leigh :)
I got prompt and professional service from Tshegofatso M over live chat. He was helpful, pleasant and assisted me in getting my query resolved.
Around the middle of 2015 I moved out of the house I was living in. I lived with my dad and step-mom. Since I wasn't going to be living there, I had the account transferred from my name to my dad's (just as a note, the Telkom staff were so useless at this, it took 4 MONTHS to transfer ownership). My dad has since passed away (April 2018) and since then I have been getting harassing calls and SMSs that my Telkom account is in arrears. I asked one of the consultants who called me why I am being contacted since the account ceased to be in my name years ago. The said my father is not responding to messages. I said it is because he is deceased. She asked for evidence of this and I gave her my step-mom's name and cell number and suggested she call er and request the death certificate. Above and beyond that I cannot help her. I live 1000kms away and the account is not in my name and when it was, I never missed a payment. The calls and SMSs have not stopped. Every time I get a call I explain AGAIN that my father is dead and that I gave the previous consultant the contact details of the person who can verify this, and I give them my step-mom's details AGAIN. And it still doesn't stop. In this time I have spoken to my step-mom numerous times and asked her if anyone representing Telkom has contacted her for my father's death certificate, and she says they have not. So I have done all I can to assist you, yet you continue to badger and pester me. I have confirmation that you have not contacted the one person who can assist you. I have now just received an SMS that I have been handed over to P&P Attorneys. Seriously. You will not get a single cent from me. That account is not my responsibility. The person whose responsibility is in a box 6 feet under. And all you need to do to confirm this is contact one person whose number I have given you, yet you prefer to continue harassing me. Send your lawyers. Please. Retards.
This review is for African Furniture Removals and Intertrans. I did the booking with AFR, and Inter-Trans actually did the move. So credit to both companies! Having read some of the 1 star reviews I was skeptical to use this company to move our home from Johannesburg to Sr Francis Bay. Their pricing was decent and we were on a bit of a budget, and I basically took a chance. That said, they were professional and careful when they came to collect. All our glass framed pictures and a large mirror in particular were very carefully wrapped. The truck violence erupted a day or so later and we wondered if we'd ever see our things again, and if we did, we had no idea what condition they'd be in. The truck with our possessions arrived safely exactly when they said we could expect it to arrive. The guys offloaded us from the late afternoon into the evening, even while it was raining. They finished at 19:30 and still had another delivery in another town 35 kms away and they didn't complain. Again, the credit goes to both African Furniture Removals and Intertrans. Thanks for the great service!

I brought a Dell laptop in to get fixed. I was told the warranty had already expired. I didn't have the receipt with me and didn't know the exact date I purchased it, so I took their word for it. I left the laptop there and a few days later they sent me a quote of R11500 to replace the motherboard. A bit shocking since the laptop only cost R8000. In the time they had the laptop I found the receipt and saw that when I brought it in the first time, (when they told me the warranty had expired) it was actually the VERY last day of the warranty. The laptop was brought from Dion Wired on 25 May 2017, and I took it in on 24 May 2018. So even though the warranty was about to expire, it hadn't yet. I spoke to Wesley, the manager. He was as helpful as he could have been. He made photocopies of my invoice and said he'd contact Dell about doing the repair under warranty, as he agreed, as per my receipt, that the laptop was in fact still under warranty when I initially brought it in. He contacted me a few days later and said that Dell had rejected the repair and said the laptop was not under warranty. Of course I contacted Dell, and was horrified when the agent I spoke to told me that Ensure are NOT an authorised Dell repair center. He also said that due to all this time wasted, the laptop is now absolutely not under warranty and I need to pay for a new motherboard, which he also confirmed is R6200 and not R11 500.
My girlfriend and I had dinner at their Southcoast Mall branch in Shelly Beach, KZN last night.

Wow!

The service and friendliness of ALL staff who came within 3 feet of us, was unbelievable, not just the service from our waiter.

We were greeted when we walked in, and every waiter we walked past on the way to our table, greeted us as though we were regulars there, even though we aren't.

Our waiter was polite and friendly, the service was efficient, especially for a Friday night. I asked one waiter who was not our waiter to please bring me some peri peri sauce. Instead of the usual attitude you get and look that says "I'm not you waiter, but I'll get it for you if I must", the guy did it with such a smile on his face. He even went one further and brought me the Tabasco, too. The atmosphere was busy but not crazy. There was a good vibe in the restaurant.

After we had paid and were on our way out, I was again blown away at how ALL the staff greeted us and wished us a good evening.

I even commented to my girlfriend that it was almost strange because usually when you eat out, it's only the person greeting you at the door and your waiter (who can usually be the same person) who acknowledge you.Maybe the manager, too if they are around. But every single member of your staff who we walked past or near, acknowledged us and made us feel so welcome.

You see? It's the little things. A little friendliness goes a really long way. And that alone is the reason I'm giving 5 stars. Because your staff absolutely deserve it!!

Oh, and the food wasn't too bad either ;)

Please extend our thanks to your staff for making this such a memorable evening.
