PSG Insure

PSG's bad choice of service providers
At the end of November 2025, we claimed a leaking and non-working dishwasher. PSG Insure sent out BATTS APPLIANCE AND REPAIRS (their choice of service provider, not ours) to have a look at the dishwasher. They removed the dishwasher, but decided to move our fridge because they believed there was no space to push the dishwasher through. The dishwasher is 600mm wide, and the space between the wall and the fridge is 650mm. In the process of moving the fridge, BATTS dropped the water filter, which broke and flooded our kitchen, scullery, and part of our dining room, resulting in water damage to our kitchen island. PSG does not want to cover the repairs as I do not have building insurance with them. We are with OOBA. I believe that we do not need to claim against our building insurance, as we did not cause the damage. The repairs should be covered by BATTS as it was their negligence. They were arrogant enough to tie up the water supply and leave. We had to replace the water filter. BATTS did some repairs (which were not broken) and brought the dishwasher back. It was still not working. It was sent back, and we waited a month for it to be repaired. When we received the dishwasher back, one of the side panels was skew and the front door of the dishwasher could not close properly (also fitted skew). It is now less than 6 months later, and the dishwasher has the same problem. It does not want to drain water or even wash. Our kitchen island is also not repaired. I have emailed Andile Jali and Grant Cooper on the 10th May 2026, with zero response. I want the dishwasher and the kitchen island repaired as it was before.

no internet for 2 days
We woke up on New Years Day with no internet connection. The ISP is Afrihost with Frogfoot providing the connection. The fibre will be on for about 5 minutes and will follow with at least a 30-minute downtime. We’re now on our second day with no connection. As I am typing this, we’ve been without internet for 3 hours. Afrihost is extremely slow with their communication and has not provided me with answers or solutions. Frogfoot have provided zero communication or feedback. I need to get work done and my business is suffering under this lack of responsibility from Afrihost and Frogfoot. If I remember right the same thing happened on New Year’s Day 2024. If Afrihost or Frogfoot were serious about keeping their clients happy they would have provided us with immediate connectivity and discount or cash back on the downtime we had.

Why do I have building insurance if Ooba can't take responsibility
I have previously complained on Hello Peter about the pathetic service I received from Ooba insure and 4-sure. The claim was registered on 1st August and my last complain here was on 11 September. See my initial complain below. The matter was dealt with on a non-urgent manner. I now received communication from 4 Sure where they expect me to pay an excess. I do not see the need to pay for this excess as I have received the worst service ever. I contacted 4sure who told me to take the matter up with Ooba insure, which I did. I spoke to Jacques, who promised to call me back on the same day, as he need to discuss the matter with his supervisor. I am still waiting on his call. I have called back Ooba only to be told to email them about the matter. I emailed Luyanda Molefe on the 5th October, the 14th October and again now on 16th October with zero response. What d I need to do to get a response from Ooba. We now have additional damages to our floor finishes only because Ooba and 4-sure took their time to deal with this claim. Who is going to take responsibility for this lack of responsibility? I want to have this matter sorted out ASAP as I intend to change insurance. I REFUSE TO PAY AN EXCESS!!!! “Our household had water damage to our floors in July 2024, due to a burst mixer in our en-suite bathroom. The claim was registered (MEV52578/1), and the necessary documents were supp**** to 4-sure on 01 August 2024. Our floors in our main bedroom, en-suite and kitchen got damaged. It is now more than a month later and the damage to our floors is worse, due to loose tiles. Since I have submitted the requested documents, I have not received any feedback and response from Keenan Matthews or Kabela Oliphant, the 2 employees from 4-sure I had to deal with. The intend was to do the repair work during the school holidays and the end of September due to our availability during the day. This will probably now have to be postponed and one of us will need to take unnecessary leave to allow for supervision. I am appalled and extremely dissatisfied with the lack of service I received from Ooba Insurance and 4-sure. As Ooba you should have followed up on my claims and as 4-sure, you are not worthy to be called an insurance company. My monthly payment goes off on time every month, and you have the audacity to even increase our insurance premium for a service that is non-existing. This is not the first time I received this pathetic service from your insurers, and it makes me wonder if you are serious about our damages. I am not interested in excuses, or any other runaround and I expect immediate response and action from someone who can do their work. I think it would just be fair to waiver our excess. I expect a call and correspondence as quick as possible. I would like to have this mater sorted out so that I can change to more capable insurance brokers and insurers.”

Nedbank

Zero communication from Nedbank
I have been a Nedbank client since 1996. My bank account have been hacked and cleaned out on the 2nd May 2023. I immediately report the case at the ***** department (I spoke to Thabo). I later found out from the Tygerberg Branch that I had 2 options. 1 - to buy a certain form and reverse the EFT or 2 - to report the case to the police (who I have no trust in) and the block my account and to go the legal route. The ***** department (Thabo) failed to give me the first option of reversing the transaction. I would have chosen the reversal of the transaction. This is where my hell started. My ****** money was transferred into a Capitec account, account number *** and the account holder is Gcilitshane. I had to report a ******** case and wait for weeks for the ***** department to come back to me and blame me. Many calls were made from my side and were mostly answered with arrogant, unhelpful and condescending Nedbank staff. If the ***** department can be so accurate on pointing out the exact circumstances that led to the theft, then how can they also not have systems in place to flag possible ***** the moment it happens. I think it is a cop out to blame me, when they know I have no way to proof them wrong. Did you know that you can approve a Nedbank transaction without login to the money app. Great security I would say. I received an email from Busisiwe Mbeje on 23 May 2023, telling me that she took over the case from Yolanda Olivia Kock to tell me that the case will be finalized in the week ending 02 May 2023. I emailed back (3 times) with NO response from Busisiwe my Client Service Manager. Is this really the service I deserve? No, I deserve much better. In the meantime I was credited with bank costs for all the debit orders that was returned after I was left with R6.09 in my account. I would think Nedbank would at least have the decency to reverse these bank costs I incurred due to something I had no control over and for the lack of proper banking security. In summary I am appalled at the lack of service and feedback I received from Nedbank. I also would like this matter to be resolved as soon as possible, my ****** money returned to my account (Nedbank after all have insurance on cases like this) and I would like the back costs related to this ***** be reversed. I am considering moving to a different bank and the sooner this is finalized to sooner I can make up my mind.

Pathetic service from the claims department
I wanted to register a vehicle claim and spent most of yesterday morning to get thru to someone. I was transferred from one person to another and had to leave a voice message eventually. I was never called back. When I phoned back yesterday afternoon, I spoke to a gentleman who took down my number and promised that someone will call me back. It is nou 24 hours later and no one called me back to register the claim. In the meantime i need to sit and wait for someone to call. Not happy about this service, seeing that i am not even responsible for the damaged to my vehicle

Skynet should be called Groundnet
I have ordered the renewal of my vehicle licence from eNAtis more than a week ago. The parcel was supposed to be sent to me with Skynet Worldwide Express. I received a notification on 05 November 2022 that the parcel was out on delivery. It is 09 November 2022 today and I still have not received my parcel. I have tried calling Skynet Worldwide Express and waited more than 40 minutes for someone to take my call, with zero success. I am still in the dark on when I will receive any response or parcel

URGENT! FEDHEALTH AND PHARMACY DIRECT partnership not desireable
I am registered with PHARMACY DIRECT through FEDHEALTH for a service I was opposed to from the start, as I now have to collect my chronic medicine from 2 suppliers at two different occasions, which just does not make sense logistically. If I collect my full script from Click, which is my preferred pharmacy then I get penalized with a 40% levy, which I think is ridiculous as this is my Medical Aid and I am the only contributor to the fund. This is my money and I should have the freedom to spend it to my convenience. I have sent thru my latest script to PHARMACY DIRECT and have not received my latest delivery of my chronic medicine. Tonight I am on my last tablet and from tomorrow I am vulnerable to whatever comes my way. It is inconvenient to wait for a response and/or delivery from this damn PHARMACY DIRECT if I could just have went to my preferred pharmacy to be issued with my medicine. Please confirm how you (FEDHEALTH) will resolve this major problem
