I am writing this complaint on Hellopeter because LIFE Health Headoffice do not answer their phone. I was originally rushed to Life Wilge on 27/07 and discharged on 29/07. My shoucking experience with Life Wilge & Flora is the subject of separate complaints that LIFE is yet to take seriously. This complaint is specifically with regard to my visit to Wilge on 27th: 27/07 09h33 Admitted to Casualty 27/07 16h58 27/07 13h44 Medical Ward Admit 29/07 12h51 Medical Ward Discharge 27/07 to 29/07 13h44 to 13h51 gives less that 48 hours. In other words less than 2 days. HOW DO YOU GET 2.5 DAYS. CAN YOU PLEASE ANSWER NOW.
Recently had reason to use this business after bad experience from another 'fly by night' Repair Service. Mr Nel did a good job at his premises. Replaced Thermostat Fixed corroded pipes Regas. Price: Just a little more than 1st Mr Gas Thank You, Mr Nel. In comparison the Mr Gas came to us. Charged 1650.00 to regas. A week later we called him back because fridge was not cooling. After much begging, he came back and regased Fridge. Thereafter he disappeared into the night.
Medicross Randburg. For the 2nd time in 30 days, misdiagnosis Case 1. I saw Dr X, who diagnosed me with Pneumonia after taking XRay. I in fact had a Life threatening heart issue with a clear symptom being my swollen feet. Long story, over the next 2 weeks I was admitted to two private facilities where my condition got worse before finally being admitted to Jhb Gen Heart ward. Within 2 days I was on road to recovery. A week later discharged. Case 2. After my experience, I was reluctant to return to Medicross but it was afterhours and our staff member was anxious about the neck and headaches. This was especially an issue because of a traumatic even with one of our other staff. She was seen by Dr Y. Doctor told her what she did not have rather than what she did and prescribed Cataflam an anti-inflamatory. We did not think this would help and decided to see our trusted GP the next day. The GP confirmed that Cataflam would not help and identified two issues and prescribed medication for each. R590.00 The staff member confirmed that she was feeling better on same day. Next day she was back at work.
Life Healthcare Life Flora Life Wilgeheuwel I have sent Email and completed the complaint form on the Life Healthcare website I have yet to hear from them in the promised 48 hours. They did respond telephonically on the Hellopeter complaint and promised to escalate. Nothing forthcoming. My complaint is about Medical Negligence. In the 11 days beteeen being admitted and discharged from Life I got sicker. Obvious signs of the issue were ignored. In the end it took a Family GP in his humble office to within 5 minutes refer me to Jhb Gen on 14/08. Within two days I was getting better.and by 19/08 healed. Just 5 days. In contrast with Life, I came in sick and left Sicker.
Life Wilgeheuwel x 2 visits Life Flora Long Story Most disappointing and expensive experience. Discharged from Life Wilge after 2 days. 2 days later back in Life Wilge (Pay Again). Incredibly they wanted to send me to ICU. Lucky they transferred me to Flora. Care better but management could have been much better. Anyway I was discharged after 5 days. Monday 15 August, I went to see my sisters humble GP. Somehow he could see the issue and urgency therof and within 10 minutes wrote a referral leter to Jhb Gen. Its now Wednesday, I can already feel the difference in my body.
I went to Edgars to buy some clothes on my account. Balance currently 0.00 Get to process and I am told my card has been flagged as *****. They call ***** department. After 15 mins I tell them to Hangup. I go to Pick n Pay and buy from them. Bad Service.
In December 2022, I took an Audi Q7 vehicle to VAG for the repair of the starter. The starter had twice before been repaired by other Technicians, VAG's 6 month Peace of Mind warranty was added bonus. VAG replaced the Starter. 4 months later we have no issues starting the vehicle. Rating: 5 Stars At the time the car also had a few leaks and in April 2023 the leaks became very noticeable, Based on past good experience/service with the starter, we had no hesitation in taking the car back to VAG for the repair of the OIl Leaks. VAG sent a quote listing all the items that needed to be repaired including the Oil Leaks & a Service. Cost R30k. I responded and asked that they focus on the Oil Leak & Service only. VAG sent a new quote totalling just over 15k and went ahead with the repair. Tappet Cover Gasket plus Sump & Sump Gasket, 27/03 Collected car from VAG 01/04 Saturday Oil Light came on and had to be topped up with 2 pints of Oil R87.00 Immediately informed VAG 03/04 Monday Took car to VAG for explanation Response not satisfactory 11/04 Tuesday Took car back to VAG for Checking of Oil Leak that appeared to be in same places as before VAG sent a quote of R20k to repair "new" Oil Leaks. These new leaks were coming from the Rear Oil Seal and the Timing Cover, We rejected the quote. I felt that the car had bent sent to VAG specifically for the repair of the OIL LEAKS and that they should of diagnosed all the oil leaks irrespective of where they were and quoted on that. They did after all find a whole lot of other things wrong that had absolutely nothing to do with the oil leak or the engine. I made it clear to VAG that I was at all willing to pay another 20k (15k was labour). VAG did revise the quote downwards to just over 13k. This was still not acceptable. 14/04 Friday I collected CAR. I have continued to monitor the OIL Leaks and they appear to be in the same place as before they replaced Tappet & Sump Gaskets. Given that I still have OIL Leaks, I am justifiably suspicious about the prior work VAG did on the vehicle. I requested that they provided me with the Sump Cover that they replaced but they claim they threw it away,! In this case they should be able to provide me with a copy Purchase Order or Supplier Invoice for the Items purchased. Rating: 0 Stars Overall 2 Stars

I have had an Edgars account for a few years. I dont use the account much for one very good reason. RCS. Their monthly add on charges are excessive. I cannot believe it costs so much to process a statement. The Cellphone companies also outsource the generating monthly billing. Their are far more transactions to process especially if itemised is required. However their charges are less than RCS. Edgars needs to get RCS to sharpen their pencils. Just last week I bought a pair of shoes. I though of getting them from Edgars but decide to buy from Tekkie Town instead.
I love the store; Definitely a breath of fresh air to the DIY market place. This rating is specifically for their poor communication. I want to know the dimensions of a package as I need to transport to my home. Except for Auto answer; No reply to my email after 3 days Whatsapp chat no response after one hour. Phone call not answered.
