Never thought it possible for Takealot to get a bad review, but I have to vent somewhere. I ordered two items on 2020-11-11. Two items were delivered on 2020-11-18, one of which was not what I ordered. On the same day I logged a replacement request and was promised delivered on the 20th, then the 23rd, then the 24th, then the 25th. Then all SMS notifications stopped. I followed up with Takealot and was promised the replacement is on its way, but still no SMS. I followed up again, same story. I followed up again, same story. I followed up again and got an SMS confirming delivery on 2020-11-30, immediately followed by an SMS that the delivery has been delayed. So, I followed up again, and was promised delivered before COB on 2020-12-02, again no SMS confirmation. Well, guess what did not happen by COB yesterday... I would like to assume the problem is with the courier, as it seems the replacement item has been with them for weeks now, but it does not seem any of Takealot's agents are interested in following through and actually getting the issue resolved. In all the years I've been dealing with Takealot, I have only been extremely impressed by their excellent service, but this time I am left utterly disappointed.
After paying the initially quoted amount for vehicle license renewal in full, I received an email a few days later stating there is still an outstanding amount. When querying this second amount, I was told the initial quote is only an estimate and the second amount would settle the transaction. It has now been two weeks since FULL payment, still no license disc. Was just told the second amount is still outstanding - THEY LOST MY PAYMENT!!! Absolutely shocking customer service, stay well clear of these clowns!
Please stay far, far away from these clowns! Calling their service extremely poor, would imply that there actually exists any kind of service at this excuse for a business! <p>This seems to be a common tread around here...Nissan Woodmead *****ing people over when it comes to spare keys.</p> <p> </p> <p>I bought a second hand Qashqai from them end of May 2015 and was promised a spare key, as sonn as the salesman culd find it. It is now March 2017 and I still do not have the promised spare key!</p> <p> </p> <p>I have phoned more times than I care to count - they refuse to phone me with updates and also do not understand the concept of returning phone calls. I have been to the dealership a number of times and only got excuses.</p> <p> </p> <p>Various appointments have been made, and not kept by them, to sort this out. And just nothing happened. I even had my car serviced with them (which will never happen again) so they could have it available all day to sort out the key. Nothing was done regarding the key, although arrangements were specifically made with the sales manager.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am now trying to get hold of the dealer principals details to try and resolve this...I am not holding my breath.</p>
