Upon putting a laybye there, and taking it out in October, upon preparing to wear my item, weeks later, I noticed a tear, went to store with receipts and all, and also tag, not attached, but Chlothing unworn, I was refused an exchange, now stuck with a new but old item from the store, with a managers only reason for not exchanging being I had already snapped the tag... Meaning all items must be worn immediately, their policy and stuff suck... It is rediculous..
Was at pick n Pay today, early morning, witness abuse from a customer towards an older employee, the customer was being very violent, yelling at her, pointing fingers at her, all this because he didn't have money to pay, and stated he has been using his money there they should pay him, 1. My biggest disgust the stores manager was just watching and not doing anything to defend the employee, 2. The security guards in store stood around and watched all this happen, I as a customer had to intervene. 3 upon requesting for the manager, the manager was nowhere to be found. Any act of violence towards anybody is illegal, and to have in a supposed reputable store, and not have any security. For the security guards themselves to be in a fearful position. And the disregard to expect an employee just abused to be at work. Just disgusting... And for this not being the first time this lunatic did this in store, he should have been barred from entering the store period.
on Friday the 22/01/2021 I lost my phone at checkers @ moffert on main, I am certain someone weren't through my bag as I left my bag in trolley for few seconds to fetch juice on other side of isle as the packers were packing so couldn't get through with trolley. upon my finishing paying ,needing to book uber, I looked all over for my phone, I went to office where I wanted to call my phone, but lady there said their phones couldn't get through to non landline numbers, and the one that did was with manager on floor, at which they couldn't be bothered to look for him. I then went to the security lady ,who when i told her what happened said "oh no sisi, that phone is long gone," I proceeded to ask her to check on camera, she said "how would she know which isle it was stolen in," I told her I was only in a few isles, she then after a while came back from viewing the security footage, and said "the guy says they cant view the person properly as the advertising boards above obstructed the proper view." the handing of the theft in their store was not handled properly, my peeve is how can security cameras be out of focus from what its suppose to be viewing and protecting. especially since I suspect its one of their packers, as I was mostly with packers in the isles. and for them not to even want to take me to the camera room is shady on its own. the thief could have still been in store. but the security wasn't there to secure me as a customer.
Good day. Was very disappointed yesterday while at till point 2,hearing the cashier on till 1,express how angry she was, to the "white couple she was helping", about the lack of packers, and how she was gonna complain about everything.... And how the coloreds are worked to the ground and how the lazy bum blacks are not working. First she had no consideration for the lazy bum race, next to her, Then sending a msg of lazyness to the clients. Then lacks professionalism and degrades the places std for me....... For her to even feel she had the power to make such comments, burden the clients... And there she was representing MAKRO
So.. last week Tuesday,went in for an upgrade,a lover of huawei phones........I got the Samsung A70,....after using and testing the phone,I found when outside it takes foggy selfies....and that wasn't pleasing to me,I went to closest branch,where I was told they can't assist me,as it wasnt original branch ,and I asked them,what about the 7 day warranty,and customer satisfaction according to CPA...they said that act didn't including exchanging of phones...I feel this is infringing on my rights,as when you enter the telkom website,they even state,if you not happy with product,you can return or exchange within the 7 day period,I went to the original brunch,and they said same thing as well,but I should come back when manager is back. Now,I don't ever wanna deal with telkom ,the level of patronizing by staff is ridiculous......I And now I'm stuck with devise im not happy with,where is the keenness they had when assisting me get phone, now you get rudeness comments, Too much running around trying to seek help
Literally today woke up with my dstv switched off, I called and they tell me it's switched off because I need to pay R680, and have also informed me that I changed my subscription to compact, where as I've never, on the 17th of April I literally just went to DStv whattsapp to clear an error. My issue is, 1. I payed 390 last month as per an sms I received from them, 2. My payment date is the 16th as always, why switch it off 2days prior payment date. 3. Now I'm suddenly liable for a the reconnection fee. Dstv I haven't been satisfied with the repetition in content, I mean the Bourne Supreme movie has played many many many many times I can repeat the words, ohhh no, not to mention, last year's repeats still repeating this year with criminal intent.... But for now we have multichoice, but they have noooooo ooo market appreciation. Really as South Africans we welcome disservice and condone it too.
Good day, I've been with old mutual, and grew up thinking they the best but very in reliable... Last year through some financial difficulty went to their offices to ask for a premium holiday, and was met with question of how I knew about premium holidays, then the guy proceeded to tell me because I had 4 policies I had to wait for all of them to have the same amount of months in holidays, and he said old mutual does them automatically, so I couldn't afford my payments, then went back to the offices after a few months, to pay the remainder and I deposited, and in December too, now in December I'm told one of the policy lapsed in May already, yet I had paid it, true on December they deducted, for the 3 policies, but was still not satisfied with them saying it lapsed in May when I had already paid, I emailed but would get I'm 12 months behind and so forth, this year one of the policy kept on debuting twice, I went to them and the girl was clueless, and said she would launch a complaint, which I never received any feed back, I then 4 times with in a period kept on going to them, due to confusion over my policies, in Feb I again went and and was told I couldn't pay for a policy which in their system shows lapsed long ago, but I paid, that Feb month, now I had asked and gone via many routes seeking assistance, nothing, their consultants said I shouldn't pay, and the policies were my mother in laws, she passed in the process of me still trying to figure out, Now old mutual paid out on one, Never even sending me the grocery voucher they usually send, They never refunded me back my money from double debiting, after I had gone to their offices, never paid out on my other policy, which I feel they needed to ay me my full policy cover because it was their people or system misi forming me, and I want a refund of my other policy, which I had paid by they said lapsed long...
<p>On Sunday after midday,went there to buy the 60 rands special on soap,get there there's no 2kg soap,but the special is still on, but the stickers is now on the 3 kg,go to pay,the teller tells me its in correct,we ague I request a manager,and they just cant call the manager out, and the Teller's assistant gets up and brings the 2kg soap,where ever it was hidden,</p> <p>Thee most rude thing,is that as we are standing on the till point, the Teller is busy mocking us,loudly to her co worker's,</p> <p>And we ring and we out,as we get to the door,the security checks our slip,and calls another guard to stand there as we have not paid for one of the plastics,we are standing there held up for a fifty cents plastic,wich the teller did not ring up......that is thee most embarrassing process I've ever been in..........</p>
<p>Pick and pay has thee most care free staff ever,they advertised 2,5 champion maize meal on sale n basmati rice,was there yesterday at the start of then promo but no product on shelves, asked on the isle person,they said they don't know,again today went there and still to be kept waiting for an hour with empty shelves,and only to be told that the stock will only be here tomorrow,why advertise something you don't have on stock,the rice shelves were empty,no brown rice, and not even a manager to say we sorry we can do this for you,no one owns an isle,</p> <p>And don't do any follow ups,its like a super market </p>
<p>as I wrote before,bought a brand new kettle at cash crusaders in walmer, sixth avenue last october,last week as I brought it in due to not heating anything,they told me the kettle would be fixed in 3 to 4 weeks,what kind of nonsense is that,in the mean time what am I to use, might aswell buy a new kettle .</p> <p>buying something new at cash crusaders is the same as buying it second hand,they give endless husstles.its a shame really...</p> <p>the kettle is under Buzwe Gcayisa at walmer Port elizabeth</p> <p>attention</p> <p>David Bailey</p>
