I had to make an impromptu visit to CTM East London because I urgently needed a very small sink. I was welcomed by Masithembe who was very patient with me. Showing me different sink sizes and explaining how each one works. I almost chose the wrong sink but he remembered that I need a wall mounted unit. The payment process is seamless. I was in and out in under 30 minutes.
This is for the Vincent Park store. On the 22/04/2025 I paid for a ceramic strap for my Fossil watch that broke 2 years ago. I was assisted by Nicole who gave me a turn around time of 6-8 weeks. I didn't mind because it was already 2 years since I wore my watch. Did she not perform miracles and got me my strap in less than 2 weeks! To say I am impressed is an understatement! Oh and did I mention how super friendly she is! Please Nicole never lose your warmth. Thank you for under promising and over delivering!
I waited almost 2 weeks for my Timberland boots only to receive a size 10 men's Aldo pair of shoes. When I call I get told there is no stock, I will be refunded. This girl does not even TRY to check with whoever buys stock for Superbalist if they can't get me my shoes before telling me they will refund me. I do not want a refund, I want my shoes!!! Tell your warehouse staff to use their brains at work. This is inexcusable!
I did a comprehensive car insurance quote last week and I was promised a Woolworths voucher for R500. They promised to investigate and get back to me, I'm still waiting. Instead of sending the voucher, they reduced the quote but the excess is still ridiculous at R27 000. My current excess is R1500 so why would I leave my current insurer for this?
I did a quote for comprehensive car insurance 2 days ago and I was promised a Woolworths R500 voucher and I'm still waiting. They only sent a quote that was much more expensive than what I'm currently paying, with an excess that is 26 times what I'm paying.
Sutton Square Spar in King William's Town, Eastern Cape never has the promotional MasterChef and other items. I still have books full of stickers that I was never able to use because they claim to have never received the cutlery I wanted. They have posters up of the new MasterChef promotion but I can bet my left thumb that they will not get the stock. They also claimed to have never recieved stock of the 24 packs of toilet paper that was on special for R99 last year. I don't know why they even bother.
I went looking for stalkings for my 7 year old daughter at The Mall in King William's Town and was assisted by a guy named Patrick. He was so helpful and even went as far as checking the deliveries they were receiving that day but unfortunately they didn't have what I was looking for. What a sweet person. I did thank him, but please thank him for me as well.
My 4 year old smart tv just went blank but has sound. I logged a call and was told their warranty is for 3 years. They referred me to an 'accredited' repairer who drove 300kms to where I am with no spare remote. She fiddled with the TV and could not fix it. She told me to buy a remote and let her know once I have it. I've been nagging her to assist me and she's been ignoring me. My Mom has a Samsung TV she bought 10 years ago that still works perfectly fine. Hisense on the other hand sells inferior quality products that don't last even for 5 years, then accredit people who have no clue what they are doing and who don't give a rat's ass about a customer. Come and fetch this useless expensive TV from my house!!!!
I lost my job in March 2019 and received my final salary in April 2019. I had a cheque account with Nedbank. Obviously with no source of income, I did not use the account. Now I'm being harassed with messages threatening to attach my 'property' because apparently I owe R700 on an inactive account. Why not just close the account like normal banks? I would never go back to Nedbank even when I have a new job.
Can someone explain why VAT returns have been frozen by this bank? It's been 4 months now with NO word on when the funds will be released!
