I ordered lights from Glolighting online in January 2024 only to learn the following week that they do not have stock and no stock is pending until May. Surely with our technology in this day and age if a company does not have stock of something they should not be advertise the product and definitely should not take money for something that they can not supply. This is not the way to do business.... Buyer beware.
Beware when ordering from Fruugo to prepare yourself for a long wait for delivery. It seems most, (if not all of their goods) are only imported starting on the date that you place your order. This is not clearly advertised. My last order placed on 14 November 2022 is estimated to only be delivered in February 2023, even though the web page stated delivery within 24 hours. I suggest checking with other suppliers first before ordering from Fruugo.
I recently bought battery bank from Solar Links Energy consisting of 4x 100ah batteries for my solar inverter. Mid load shedding, they were only supplier with stock, also at a reasonable price. The delivery went well. The Gold Shine batteries look 100ah but slightly lighter in weight than my existing 100ah batteries. Very disappointingly they could only run my inverter for 30 minutes compared to old batteries running 3 times as long at same load. I reviewed the product on their website which they still have not published. Can see why there are no reviews. They are rubbish. Rather spend more money and get proper batteries.
Deliver incorrect goods. Poor after sales service. Unable to contact them. Client service contact line drops numerously. No apparent email address to contact them. I ordered a controller for a PS4. They delivered a controller for a PS5. Logged the replacement online. Provided pictures of the unit and barcode as requested. 3 Days later asking for same again even though the pics originally sent are attached on their request email???
Skyworth TV 40 inch Android. When I bought the tv 6 months ago there was not much in reviews so I took a chance and bought it anyway. Herewith my review. The tv sound is rubbish, a sound bar is suggested. It does not have a 3.5 inch audio connector, only digital audio. When the tv is off, the sound bar need to be switched off as well otherwise it makes loud ticks. Because of this I often leave the sound bar switched off and watch with tv sound only. The tv then sometimes get confused and tv sound source need to be confirmed to hear anything. The picture is rubbish. Dark and black are very dark with a weird white sheen. It took a while to set picture setting which occasionally gets lost and has to be reset. The tv jumps to the home screen randomly (at least once a day) while watching for no obvious reason, forcing you to reset to your source again. It often freeze on home screen and you are forced to unplug or hard-boot the tv which is extremely irritating. Netflix does work, however the sound can not be adjusted on the tv. Prime does work, but you have to login in everytime, which is a laborious task, so I am back to using a laptop for Netflix and Prime. I regret buying it and wish I bough something else in stead.
Be careful of Electronipro.co.za online shopping store. I Ordered and paid for universal spark generator for gas bbq in November 2020. The website do not offer tracking of delivery. 2 Weeks ago they apologised for "parcel must have been lost in transit". Still no delivery and they do not answer their telephones.
I ordered a solar panel weeks ago. The order is flagged as processed on their web site but the panel was never delivered to me. I can not find a tracking application on their website. Their phone line is not being attended to and they ignore my numerous emails to them. I am starting to think pclinkshop.co.za is a scam website that steal peoples money.
Please be careful. No delivery of online purchases or feedback from Makro SA. I ordered a gas water heater unit online from Makro SA and paid for it on 30 April 2020. Understanding that Covid-19 could delay delivery I waited until 20 May 2020 to follow up on delivery via e-mail. I received no feedback at all on my e-mail. I called the Customer Care line numerous times on 25 May 2020 with no answer at all.
I noticed an unauthorised debit order for R99-99 going off my bank account on 15 March 2016 out of the blue. The reference said \J&A SOLUTI\" followed by a number and \"SAGE160315\". I immediately had my bank reverse the debit order and block it.<br> Exactly a month later though, same story again. I called J&A who was very apologetic and claimed so-called faulty info on an application from a client and promised to refund the money. <br> If you do a quick search on the internet you will find numerous complaints and accusations of J&A Solutions being involved in fraudulant debit orders.<br> It is too much of a coincidence. It must be a scam to steal money via debit order. <br> It amazes me that they are allowed to continue the scam and have not yet been closed down."
