I returned an item purchased at Takealot which was damaged, for repair or replacement, as the item was under warranty. The item was rejected by Takealot and the return (MMRN-E6BAD-BEER) is stated as completed on my profile. The rejected item has not been returned to me despite numerous enquiries both online and telephonically and in addition I have received no further communication from Takealot! There is also a further issue relating to an old account with a different profile, that I app**** to have deleted and instead of deleting same, Takealot have suspended my current account with the order number and return details of the current returned item! ! In addition, it is impossible to get any of the customer service agents to escalate this issue to a senior manager and one agent has even created a false tracking number in the pretense that he was trying to assist in to get the item returned to me! This amounts in the least to major incompetence and at the worst to absolute misrepresentation and theft !
I have continuously tried to contact Webafrica for the past 4 days to sort out my installation, including sending them photos of the ONT box which they say is supposedly connected. I have paid them in advance however there is no service forthcoming!. The Vumatel support team were supposed to bring a new server unit and ONT unit and have failed to arrive despite their assurances that they would be at my home at the specified date and time they gave me. I am a lecturer who requires this Fibre service urgently and made this clear to them upfront. I have sat on the phone waiting for their support centre on 3 occasions to no avail and got cut off! I have also attempted to use their Whatsapp bot and when I got a reference number nothing further happened! This is a disgrace and I would like to cancel the service!
The staff at MTN Melrose Arch are rude and highly inefficient. I was advised to do a sim swop on my phone by MTN as my SIM card was supposedly old and unable to handle software updates. I purchased a new SIM card, paid cash (R150) and signed the necessary documents. I was not given a copy thereof. Lerato promised that my old SIM card would be deactivated by the late afternoon of 26/10/2021 and the new SIM card activated and functional within 24 hours. The process has not even been done to date! When contacting the store I am told they cannot assist me and that Lerato is 'out' and that they cannot get into her 'system'. The male assistant (name unknown) is extremely rude and unhelpful. An absolute disgrace!!
Do not purchase fragrances off this website. The site is fraudulent and they will take your money and not provide the merchandise!
I ordered and paid for a gift (birthday) for my daughter in law online at Netflorist on 16/07/2020, which was supposed to be delivered on 17/07/2020. Not only was the gift not delivered on time, it was not delivered at all and no feedback was given as to the status of delivery at any time by the company, despite several emails from myself questioning such! Finally when I managed to contact the company via their online chat service on 19/07/2020, because the gift had still not been delivered, I was informed by the sales consultant that there was no stock! At no point was I offered an alternative to the item or even informed during the actual purchase itself that they didn’t have stock despite their advertising to the contrary! Their online service is clearly unreliable and as this was a birthday present, it resulted in huge disappointment for the intended recipient, being my daughter in law and embarrassment for myself. I demanded a refund, however the company’s logo of ‘Just be nice’ doesn’t represent their service in any form. This is NOT a nice experience to be let down by a company that has always provided a positive customer experience in my past dealings with them.
I have had the same experience as Michael K! This website is a complete scam! I took advantage of their so called promotion during March 2020 and opted to get a once off purchase of dog food (as a means to trying out their service). I did not opt for any further purchases or subscription! However, their website is set up to create a default option which ensures that if you take advantage of their promotional discount then you are automatically joined up for their ongoing service! Without adequate warning, I was charged the following month (April) for an order for dog food that I didn't place! When I noticed the debit from my credit card, I immediately complained to Zuki and asked for a cancellation of the order and a refund. I was told that it was my fault that this had occurred because I had subscribed to their ongoing service by making an order and taking advantage of the discount and that I had not read their T&C's properly! I immediately cancelled my credit card with my bank (to avoid further fraudulent transactions being made) and was told by Zuki that they would cancel the order and give me a refund minus the discount that I had enjoyed on my initial purchase! They proceeded to send me a proof of the refund minus the R500 discount that they had supposedly given me! How disgusting! I then still received the delivery of the products that I had supposedly ordered from them (after cancelling the order) and I had to suffer the inconvenience of arranging with Zuki to collect their products back again! I am also still waiting for their so called refund to reflect in my bank account. This company is clearly engaging in dubious and questionable business practices and should be reported for contravening the Consumer Protection Act.

I have been subscribed to the TELKOM 4G LTE (Broadband) service since November 2015. At that time I requested that my subscription to the DSL Faster option be cancelled. Despite numerous emails and submission of forms requested by TELKOM, as well as escalations to their escalation department (as advised by a call centre consultant),and also a visit to the Rosebank branch of the TELKOM shop (Reference No. 27883351), TELKOM has still NOT cancelled the service as requested. They have been charging me R262.28 plus vat. for the past 5 months! Consequently they now owe me an amount of over R1000! This is disgraceful service and should be attended to immediately!
