Placed an order on the 25.07.2025. The money was taken off my Payflex account but the order "was not placed". I called Makro customer service and they asked for proof that the payment was successful. I sent them proof of this within a few minutes of that phone call. I received no feedback so i emailed on Monday to find out what is going on and was told its been investigated. Yesterday i emailed again and was asked to send through my banking confirmation letter and ID which i did, and they said they cannot allocate the order because thats done "automatically" so a refund is the only option. It is now 6days later and nothing has been done. Why has Makro's online portal so unreliable and their customer service even worse?
Bought goods from Yassir on the 31st May but they never had any of the items i ordered so the order was cancelled. The money still has not been refunded 20days later. Called into the call centre and was told that all Absa account holders need a letter from Yassir to give to the bank to release funds back into the account. We are never told this at the time of them cancelling the order. If i did not remember the funds i paid i would have never gotten my money back!!!
The issue about payouts from wallets has been going on for over a year now. Everytime i shop online and there is money in my wallet, i request a withdrawal which was supposed to take place between 3-5 working days and everytime i have to call pick n pay asap and they “escalate it” for another 3-5 working days. I dont know of they hold onto customers money to earn interest on it but waiting 10days for money due to a customer is ridiculous. Pick n pay has lost a customer today because of this. Its no wonder so many stores are being closed down!
Placed an order today with Pizza Hut Norwood as soon as the website was operational for deliveries (at 10am). Called at 11am as i still hadnt received my food and was told by the manager that the driver was busy doing banking. How do you prioritise banking over a customers delivery, and why is a driver doing banking when theres other staff available to do that? I will never order from this Pizza Hut again because their delivery service is pathetic, this isnt the first time that the order hasnt been delivered after an hour of placing the order and i've learnt my lesson.
Ordered and paid for a balloon which was not delivered with the gift.
Ive had a hold placed on my catd for a hotel booked on the 20/12/2024. The hold has since been released by the hotel, and they asked that i check with my bank as the funds were still uncleared. Ive emailed the Authorisations department 3times over 3days and called into Absa Premium Banking and 4days later, they havent bothered to respond to my emails, give me any feedback or release the hold placed on my card for R2,300. With the pathetic service ive been getting from Absa lately i feel the next step would be to move my accounts.
I am absolutely livid with the oversight of my instructions for my order. I placed an order for a Karl Lagerfeld jacket for my husbands birthday and put the option down as a collection in Sandton. I also put a comment saying its a gift and can it be wrapped. The jacket was delivered straight to my husband, unwrapped, not in a bag or anything. And it isnt even his birthday yet. How the hell can you guys be so careless with your customers orders?!!!!
Ordered a bunch of roses on Woolies Dash for a ***orker that was leaving. The co worker left early so i cancelled the order while it was still being shopped. An hour later (and after i had already reached home after leaving work) i get a call from the delivery guy saying hes at my work gate. I proceeded to tell him that the order was cancelled an hour ago and if he can please take the roses back to the store, which he did. I was still charged for the order though. I called enquiries yesterday to find out why i was charged. I was told that Norwood branch had not informed them of the order being returned and i still havent been refunded even though i was told they would get back to me.
Orderd a Polo purse, and after a week of not receiving it, i emailed to find out why ive received no tracking number. No one responded to my email, so i phoned them only to be told the purse was sold out. They then said they would refund me. Another 5days has passed and they havent bothered to refund me even though i sent a followup email yesterday.
Paid R1500 for a pair of cv joints. The incorrect part was sent to me aleven after i uploaded my vin and engine number to tgeor website. The box itself says its for a 1.4 polo but the woman assisting me insists it is for a golf 5 gti. My car was supposed to have been fixed on Saturday (07.09.2024) but it is still lying at my mechanic because oof this incompetance and i cannot go to work!!!
