These guys are the worst you can ever use to move! They agreed to move my daughter's furniture on a Friday so she can get it in Cape Town on Sunday. First of all, they were 5 hours late to collect. A very run down van eventually showed up and they used little stickers to identify our stuff! It took them about 11 days to deliver her furniture in Cape Town! Her bed and couch were wet and the boxes were in pieces when they arrived. They were even asking her if some of the stuff still in the truck was hers or not! Some of the belongings are still missing to this day and there's no hope she'll get them back. They are seemingly using different companies and random delivery guys off the street. Please take my warning/advice : "DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY"!!
We had a very rude treatment from the two owners there especially Anelle. That was no way to talk to paying customers. My advice to prospective customers is to take your business elsewhere. We certainly wont go back there again.
I was rear-ended at the end of January 2022. I asked for claim forms and received them a few days later. After filling in the forms, nothing happened until I called them for an update. After the car assessment, there was another long wait until I called. The car was eventually booked in for repairs and I was offered a rental car for 15 days when my policy states it should be 30 days. When the 15 days expired I had to call Momentum to extend it to 30 days (wasting my time and money). When I was called by the panel beater to fetch my "repaired" car, I found out that my rear bumper was still rattling and the rear lamp was a used part and didn't look like the other rear light. Now the panel beater says they will order a new light and I will have to wait for 3 months for this part to arrive. My rental car is die back today - what am I supposed to do for the next 3 months without a car? Why did you authorise the replacement of an old part in the first place? Next week will be 2 months after the accident happened. I have 3 cars, home contents and building insured with Momentum. I will certainly be moving all these to another insurer after this! In all my years, this is the worst!
I am very disappointed by the lack of property management shown by Trafalgar so far. I signed a mandate agreement with Trafalgar on the 05 May 2021 and still today (26 August 2021) there is not a single advert of my Braamfontein property in any website including the Trafalgar website! How do you expect to get me tenants? Secondly: A potential tenant calls me after getting my number from the security guard at Bridgeview. I referred her to my Letting manager. The vetting was done and when she wanted to pay her deposit and first installment, I was informed that the rental would be R5000 when the Mandate clearly states R7000 minimum. The potential tenant told me that the letting manager told her it would be R5000. At this rate I will not be renewing this agreement.
I applied for a home loan through a bond originator. I received all responses except from my own bank Standard Bank. This was 15 days ago! My current Standard bank home loan is paid up. I cannot understand what is taking you so long. I guess I will have to take the FNB offer and possibly move my accounts to get an even better interest rate - loyalty is overrated.
I think this has been my second claim with Discovery Insure since joining them in 2011 and it has proven to be a great experience. It started when I received a call within seconds when my car was involved in a collision. Moipone Hlongwane handled my claim speedily and efficiently, keeping me updated all the way. I now look forward to the repair process - hoping it will be as great a process as I've experience thus far.
I ordered pizza once in Blairgowrie when I was visiting there. They have not stopped spamming me with the ads even after sending TWO opt out SMSses. I sent the last STOP message at 9h57 this morning - at 10h21 they spam me one more time with the exact same SMS. Incredible! I really wish I never ordered from you! Please remove my number from your list!

My claim was rejected and I was sent a rejection letter by Refilwe with the wrong date in it. She wrote "18 June" instead of "18 July". One would think that changing 2 letters in a document would be quick, but it took me 2 calls (one at 8am and another 1t 16h30) plus an email to get a letter back. No apology and no reason for the delay was give. Pathetic!!

I do hope never to deal with Refilwe and your Insurance company again. Its always a pain!
