I have been trying for two weeks do log a claim to have the windscreens repaired on my vehicle and no luck. We are currently having rainy weather in Pretoria and I have to drive to and from work with a damaged rear windscreen and stone chips on the front windscreen which I get fined for. I have contacted PWV risk advisors 4 times and their recorded lines will help confirm this. The receptionist is very rude and has no Telephone etiquette. I have been told on two different occasions that Laura will phone me back and till today still nothing. I have sent an email but the reply I get is that my email is undelivered and the receiving mailbox is full. This is a policy that has been paid for since 2016 and never been claimed on. Is this the kind of service to expect from PWV ? Any help on which authority I can escalate this matter to ?

After sending documentation to Mbali on the 6/3/23 no1 got back to me to advise if email was received and anything else needed. Another email was sent to mbali on 14/3/23 to enquire if anything is needed and if I can have feedback. I than called numerous times 27 and 28 March leaving my number but Nomthandazo Mgadi never returned my call. I finally got a hold of her and than was told to call her back tomorrow as she hasn't worked on the claim yet, after this process of trying to get hold of her. I tried to explain that I have e-mailed a month ago, she snapped at me and was very rude asking if I e-mailed her and before I could explain she went off at me as if I did something wrong. This is not proper phone etiquette and bad client service. It's unacceptable and not allowed. Marlene 0842448099 claim no: MAT45577

In the past couple of months ( after my unfortunate accident )I have had terrible time having to deal with a third-party (legal firm) referred to me by standardbank .After one of their clients bumped my car. It has been a nightmare sending out emails and in most times not getting any response. Furthermore when trying to call one does not get through. Its has been 3months now since the incident took place and still no joy. I have adhered by sending out all necessary documents required but I am still struggling to get at least a way forward. Having mentioned the above . In all my efforts I have had to only later communicate with one of their consultants by the name Nomthandzo Mngadi who I don't know whether she has time to check out her work emails or does she ever stick to the principle of attending to clients matters. that part is truly is mind boggling. MainReasons I am mentioning all of this is that. #Documents were sent more than a dozen times. However she then responded only far later and claimed they dint receive. What's amazing is that I found out that (when she responded and showed how emailed attachments were appearing on her end) that external were either blocked by mimecast as part of a security feature against external and unprotected mail communication and therefore all she to do was only make effort and click on release docs link appearing so that she could be able to view( since she was expecting such docs according to the ref and subject lines. #whenever you send her an email for feedback and update she doesn't ever respond. # We call! sometimes lines at PwvInc don't go through. If you lucky and the line goes through either she's out ( you ask for a call back/ and she doesn't come back to you even though you are a client. I am not sure why standardbank appointed such a terrible service provider to handle their third-party claim. Worse with such a terrible consultant uNomthandazo Mngadi Nomthandazo.Mgadi@pvwinc.co.za> You will recognise this claim ref RE: Document from Mataboge Mrs F Mataboge(SHS22060742747//MAT39543)

We had an accident May 2017, The accident was definitely not our fault and we provided all the evidence (Pictures) etc. We were told that we would need to pay the excess upfront and that we would then need to claim it back. My fiance has been dealing with Christelle Du Plooy who has been anything BUT assisting. She tells us that she will get back to us and if she does it is with the same (Copy/ Paste) email that she has sent us before. We get told that they are waiting for feedback and every time a different adviser is working with this claim. Up until now we have no real feedback and NO sense of urgency. One is expected to pay their installment timeously which was done, yet no follow through from the insurance company. Really disappointing.

I was involved in an accident which I had no fault in. The insurance company is only paying 16,6 % of the total cost of the damage after waiting 6 weeks for a resolution. Ridiculous!
