I had the worst encounter with the centre manager of sable square, if I didn't know better I would say he has a problem with people of my black color, I happen to be one of the clients that rent a space in the storages at Sable square, i was told to use the back entrance to take out my stuff stored in the storage, i followed the instructions, on Wednesday 16 July exactly 15:05 i came in with 2 of my drivers to load out my stock, did the centre manager a white man, i must mention came shouting at me and the drivers with the whole army of security guards as if he saw a bunch of ********s, we exchanged words as i told him if he needed to address anything he should have done it in a polite manner, he kept on saying "you people" this and that and he was shaking with anger and shouting at us like we were 2 year olds, i have never felt so disrespected, he showed alot of anger and animosity towards my kind so much that my drivers will never set foot in there after the tantrum the man showed, we were watched until we finished loading and he instructed we park outside the gate our car and we can load it from outside the gate because we weren't allowed, all this shouted at our face not even the owner of sable square has the right to disrespect nobody, his a mere employee giving bad name to someone else's business, and he went and said that the space was actually for paying clients like we were squatters, that man was so disrespectful i wish the owner of Sable square can just aswell put up a notice that a certain group of people aren't suppose to do business in his building once and for all if this is his instruction or he needs to put this manager of his in check because next time he might do it to a wrong person with the same hate and temper as his and it might not end well for him. I wish they beat him up good as he showed signs of even wanting to assult us but maybe since i was a lady he had to think twice. Take him for anger management. We can't be treated like ******* by him.

Pick and pay staff at sable square do not value customer service. Today there were 7 people in the queue at the deli while one was assisting while 6 watched.. when the queue got to two ppl, suddenly 6 helpers arrived... they don't great, rather just stare at you. Nah, I'm done with this place

Hi HelloPieter I have parked my Honda Civic On the 06/07/2021 at 13:29 in a normal parking lot in front of the car shop by China Town Sable Square. I got out of the car and were sitting next to my car in the Wheelchair. Guy drove a Truck backwards and has scratch my Honda Civic 2008 rear bumper. As he got closer and closer I then start to shout to get his attention. People in the shop has came out to see the scratch and the Driver took off without getting out. The Person who got out of the shop his working at China Town. He told me but it's one of they drivers who bump into my car and he will be back. I then waited for the driver... He finally came back and park the Truck at the same spot. The Driver https://gyazo.com/2a260f395dc9e46ba89a8674fe91bae7 and the Truck https://gyazo.com/6f2a5e18cc69ff4366f028994a39c223 Then I phoned a guy for spray job to fix the bumper and he gave me the price https://gyazo.com/dc8909d5a80ae380ab76720f2ab24198 Then I've email the owner of China Town https://gyazo.com/6eaea7658930f4f762be392d640580e7 and until now he hasn't reply to my emails and spoke about to fix the scratch of my car. I have waited long enough and now I am going to leave this in Hellopeter hands please. The best part is that the Driver told me his learning how to drive the truck. The Post Office as we all know is having financial difficulties and many have closed, however, the owners renting the office space are taking things to the next level by holding customers parcels hostage. I understand they have the right to their rental but if they want to close the branch, the branch should be given the time - even just a couple of hours - to empty all customers parcels but instead, the owner of the Sable Square office space who rents it to the Post Office simply puts up a chain and locks the office. So a few months ago this happened. After numerous calls, they re-opened and I got my parcel. All seemed to be going well when I received notification of another parcel which I have waited 6 months for as first it was held up in customs but I went the very next day and again its bolted closed and all customer parcels are locked inside. Numerous people moaning. I immediately called the rental agent who this time gave me an email address. I simply requested that the post office be opened and all parcels removed and immediately closed again ... just so we, the customer could go to possibly Milnerton and get our parcels. He is entitled to his rental but he is punishing us - the customer who are waiting for urgent items. On 26th May I contacted the rental agent, he gave me the email and there is no reporting back without me having to ask. Finally today, I told him i've been patient enough and he advises the post office will remain closed. I understand he is just the agent but again, no follow up. Now, our parcels are stuck inside for who knows how many months. NO CUSTOMER SHOULD BE HELD HOSTAGE like this. It is not right. Even in my email I stated i understand he wants his rental but to please open just for parcels to be removed and the owner will not budge. This is unacceptable. I do not have the owners details but the agent for his property is Marius - his mobile is 0825748058 and the email is mariush@sablesq.co.za.

I was at PICK N PAY on the 24th February. i looked for shade to park my Motor Bike as the seat has minor cracks in from the sun. I parked my bike in the shade under the roof at the entrance of the court. There was no boards to say i cant park or any clamping zone.I entered and returned from Pick N Pay and saw my motor bike was clamped. I asked the security to release my bike as there is nowhere it says i cant park , he said no and i must go to management. i slipped the clamp off as it was meant for a car and not a bike the security officer grabbed my key out of the ignition and said he want R1200.00 to get my keys back. I the said to him i am going to management so we went , on the way the security insulted me and i felt em barest in public we got to management office and i spoke to Marius and admitted to part blame as there is no shade at the centre to park my bike, he said that is not his problem if my bike cant handle the son. i asked for him to phone my work to say im late he said NO, i asked him to call my wife and again he declined this. This is not professional management ? And when i told him his security has done me bad he said that is the best he has.... i really wonder.

To the management team at Sable Square, China Town

Amidst the severe water shortages in the Western Cape (and throughout SA) one is constantly aware of water saving.
Yesterday we saw fresh water continuously pouring down the drain in the parking area at above-mentioned shopping centre. We reported it to Marius at Centre Management with little expectation of acton. Lo, and behold! By the time we returned to our vehicle, in the parking area, Marius was personally attending to shutting off the leak from irrigation. Such a prompt and efficient response is rare and certainly took us by surprise.
We don't usually frequent the shopping centre but perceptions have certainly been changed for the better by Marius's reaction to to the water loss.

Many blessings to the Management Team at Sable Square in 2016!
