Seasons Golf, Leisure and Spa
Based on recent customer reviews, Seasons Golf, Leisure and Spa is receiving largely negative feedback from guests across accommodation, conferencing, and golf packages. Customers consistently mention disjointed booking processes, slow communication, and difficulty securing refunds or resolving lost property. A recurring theme is disappointment with room cleanliness, lingering odours, unreliable WiFi, power and hot water issues, and food that falls below expectations. While a few guests highlight standout staff members who go the extra mile to recover the experience, most feel the resort does not match its advertised standard.

I recently booked an upcoming stay with Seasons Golf & Leisure and found the process far more frustrating than expected due to poor communication and slow response times. There was ongoing back and forth to secure my booking, including incorrect dates being captured, which resulted in me losing the originally offered room that included breakfast. I also had to follow up multiple times to coordinate accommodation and spa bookings. While the spa team was helpful, the process still required repeated follow ups, and I often had to coordinate between departments myself. The golf booking has since been booked, however I have not been able to make payment due to their website not picking up my reservation. The service is advertised as available 24/7, however response times did not reflect this. I understand this may be a routine booking for the establishment, but it is for my boyfriend’s 40th birthday, which made the experience particularly disappointing. Overall, the process has felt disjointed and unnecessarily stressful. Improved communication and coordination would make a significant difference.

I booked a day stay over with my family for the 5-6 April. During the week I called to ask that our rooms get ready by 13:00 as we were going to have a drive with kids. I was reassured, I called again on the day of the trip and reassured again. When we arrived I was told that nothing was ready and was required to unpack and use the reception toilet to change and swim while I waited. We were hungry from the long drive and had purchased our own food prior ( because we thought the room was ready). We were given very very dirty seating by the reception area, when we were about to eat we were told the room was ready. We got to the bathroom and both toilets smelled of pee - reeking of pee. The heated pool was not heated ( we had visited before and had a very pleasant stay- that’s what brought us back). Then surprise surprise the WiFi was down the hotels WiFi and there was no connectivity even when I tried to use my own. MY FAMILY AND I WHERE HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Seasons is not as bad as people are rating it. There are people who love their job and do it with passion. I went there with 3 of my friends and our stay started being unpleasant. But eventually everything worked out well. I was moved to a very beautiful Chalet where I felt like am at home. Lerato the supervisor made sure that she keeps her promised. Took up our complaint to management. Lorraine and Nono, the receptionists made sure that everything we needed was met. Not forgetting our housekeeper, Esther, she was so passionate doing her job. The Chalet was so spotless and smelling good. She made sure that everything we have there is spotless. I also would like to Commend the guy, I forgot his name, to was managing our braai area. He definitely assisted us where we needed help. The friendly people I mentioned above did a tremendous job. Lastly, I was surprised with a box of chocolate as a gift on my birthday. Oh... I forgot to mention that being relocated from one Chalet to the other, was done on my special day and that showed me that staff members can really listen and take care of of your complains. We were settled during our stay and the above-mentioned staff made sure that we extremely enjoy our stay at Seasons Golf, Leisure and Spa Resort. Thanks to Management and staff. I will make sure that I visit your resort very often after the friendly treatment I have received.

We stayed at Seasons Golf Leisure Spa last night and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. This was nowhere near the standard one would expect from a property of this nature. Firstly, there were no deck chairs by the pool, making it impossible to relax comfortably. On top of that, there is a massive ****** problem with absolutely no visible security managing the situation. ******s were digging through open dustbins while staff simply walked past and showed no concern. One of the ******s even scratched my arm, which is completely unacceptable from a health and safety perspective. Dustbins need to be properly sealed and there needs to be active monitoring of the area. There was no hot water while I was showering, and to make matters worse, there was no power throughout the entire night and still no power in the morning. You have a generator — why was it not used? Because of the power outage, the WiFi also did not work. At the very least, the WiFi system should be supported by power-over-Ethernet or a backup solution so that guests are not completely cut off. There was no lifeguard on duty at the pool, yet there are strict “no diving or jumping” signs displayed. Guests were jumping and doing backflips into the pool with no supervision and no staff intervening. This is a serious safety concern. I specifically booked a large double bed and was given two single mattresses pushed together, which is not what I paid for. The two single mattresses made it very uncomfortable to sleep as I could clearly feel the divide in the middle of the bed. This is not what was advertised or paid for, and I expect compensation for this misrepresentation. In the bathroom, the toilet seat was loose and I nearly fell off in the morning. Basic maintenance like this should not be overlooked. Breakfast was very underwhelming. There were very limited options, and you could only get scrambled eggs — no option for fried, poached, or omelettes. The scrambled eggs were cold, with nothing properly keeping the food warm. There were also no dessert-style breakfast options like pancakes or waffles, which are fairly standard at many establishments. To add to the frustration, cleaning staff were loudly talking outside our room early in the morning, waking us up. There were also very loud guests after 23:00, with no apparent noise control or enforcement of quiet hours. The Illy coffee shop on the property did not prepare coffee freezos the way they are made at other Illy outlets, which was disappointing and inconsistent with the brand standard. Having worked for Flight Centre Travel Group for 10 years, I understand hospitality standards and guest expectations. This experience fell far below acceptable levels. Recommendation: The pool water was extremely cold and needs to be properly heated to make it usable and enjoyable for guests. Overall, this stay was not worth the money paid, and significant improvements are needed in safety, maintenance, service standards, and overall guest experience management.

Very poor experience for conferencing and accommodation for a large group of 90. Couldn’t sleep in the bed for the first night due to ants falling out of the A/C and covering the bed. Housekeeping said they would attend to it, but never showed up. Management indicated they would apologise, but never did—just cheap lip service. Only 4 toilets for 90 people at the conference venue, very poor planning. Served chicken, butternut and potato wedges for the past 4 days we were here. Some lights were not working in the conference room. Breakfast was not ready at 6:30 as planned. Dinner was not ready at the scheduled time, but was served 45 minutes later. No apology. Very poor management. Insufficient food was prepared for the delegation we paid for, so overcharged and under-provided. This is *****.

I write with a heavy that I have reported since 18 December 2025 that I have forgot my wallet with my ID and bank cards in the room when I checked out on the 17th. The staff keep taking me from one staff member to another up until today, 20 December 2025.
