I visited Soulstice Day Spa at Silverstar Casino on the morning of the 18th of July, my husband and I had a full body massage booked for 9:30am that morning. The actual massages were amazing, and one of the best experiences i've had at a spa, but I have an extremely disappointing after sale experience with them. When we got up to the room where our massages were taking place, the lady realized that i still had my gold chain on, it's a thin gold chain with cross that i never take off, and therefore forgot to take it off when i got undressed. She asked me to remove the chain, and I did so and placed it in the pocket of the spa gown. When we finished, i forgot to take the chain out of the pocket. The following morning on the 19th of July, i called at 9:24am and advised the lady that answered the phone what happened, she said that she will ask them to check and get back to me. I heard nothing all day and decided to phone back the evening of the 19th at 6:04pm, where the lady advised that she still had no feedback but again promised to call as soon as she got feedback. On the 19th of July I also sent a whatsapp and an email at 6:46pm, advising the full story once again, and received no response. I once again called back on the 20th of July at 10:45am, after once again receiving no feedback, and the lady told that she has no feedback and advised me on this day that the laundry gets sent off to be washed, they asked them to check but still await feedback. Another week of absolute silence and I once again called on the 28th of July at 9:45am, Fikile advised on this day that they still received no feedback but she assured me that she will call me back after she spoke to someone at the office to find out if there was any news. To date, no feedback was received. I am completely and utterly disappointed with the the "no response" received from your company. By all means, it was my fault that i left my chain in the pocket, and I have since reached the conclusion that the chain is gone, but some feedback would've been really nice. I explained to them that i had that chain for 24 years, it was a thin gold chain with a cross, that i received as a gift from my parents on my 16th birthday and it really was very special to me. Again, this is not your problem, but the fact that no one had the decency to even call me back to say that nothing was found, is very disappointing and even makes me slightly suspicious as to why no one has called. Like i said previously, i had such an amazing spa experience but will never recommend you, purely because of this. Very disappointing.

I called to book an appointment, the lady said she will call me back. She did not! They charge an arm and a leg for treatments but always have sloppy customer service. I'm waiting for the owner now to respond to me. Silverstar casino branch

I went for a facial and to my surprise while in the middle of the treatment I was informed that the moisturising mask was not included in the price anymore. This is now an additional charge. I find this very unethical. The price went up and the reason I choose this treatment is now an additional charge. It is now almost double for the same treatment. I would never have booked if I knew this beforehand. The main reason for this particular treatment was now excluded with an additional charge. You pay more but get less. Who wants to pay R720 for a basic facial. Sadly I left with my skin being dryer than when I went in for the moisturising treatment. Be aware if this new practice at Soulstice!

An absolute horrible experience that we had at this spa today, if its not dirty and un organized the the******s cut your therapy short and runs late. We booked a 45 minute reflexology therapy X2 at 3:45PM today Got collected in the lobby by the the******s at 16:00PM therapy started at 16:05PM By 16:20PM they stopped and said that they are finished with therapy, we then informed them of the 45 minute session and that we only had been busy with the therapy for 20 minutes. After an argue with the the******s trying to explain that we had an 45 minute session booked. we decided to leave the room and end the session. Got at the reception and got told that they will charge us for a 30 minute session for 1 therapy, this again lead to an argument with the rude manager to explain to them that our therapy was only 20 minutes and we had booked a 45 minute therapy. We left paying for 2 30 minute reflexology therapies!!! The most frustrating thing ever is to pay for something or a service that your totally not satisfied with. This was the worst experience at a spa ever! I will not recommend Soulstice to anyone.

My husband bought me a voucher for a massage at your spa. I am unable to get hold of you to make a booking. I’ve submitted a webform, sent an email, called how many times - your phone doesn’t work and sent 3 messages on Facebook, not a single reply from any of my messages on any platform. Please can you refund the voucher so I can go somewhere else.

Hi Soulstice. I usually LOVE LOVE LOVE your spa, my whole family does but we were sadly disappointed by our last visit. I decided to surprise my mom with some treatments for her birthday on Saturday last weekend, although we loved the treatments there were a few things that took away from the experience: 1. Upon arrival, we went outside to the new jacuzzi area as we hadn't been there since you finished the renovations. We were followed by a lady who came rushing out to tell us we weren't allowed to be there as the area had been booked privately? I thought this area was part of the facilities and if not, why not put a sign up - It always used to be? 2. After our first treatment we decided to have a cup of coffee in the waiting area - the coffee machine was not working and the urn was empty. We asked a lady that was passing by if we could maybe have some more water and she looked very disgruntled by the request. Needless to say, after she had been gone for a while we decided to ditch the coffee and go for a swim. 3. Once inside the warm indoor pool, there is a terrible stench - sewerage like coming from the overflow tiles. 4. There were no towels available, we had to dry ourselves with our robes.
